Passionate about art and telling stories! And lucky you—I love to share my passion with others. I've been running creative gallery tours in London since 2016, and for the past two and a half years, I've been based in Oxford, where I'm currently pursuing a PhD at Oxford Brookes University, School of Arts.

I can say I'm a museum and gallery nerd. It's where I go for my research... and also for leisure. I like to spend time finding out more about how paintings, sculptures, and installations have been created: ideas, processes, and history. And of course, the secrets behind them. And I won't be discreet; I'll share it all with you.

Artworks can be seen as daunting or hard to comprehend, so my mission in this experience is to unpack them for you in playful, creative ways!

What a delightful morning we spent with Sylvia, wandering through the side streets of Oxford and learning new things about this beautiful city. We of course saw the important sights, but what made this walk extra special was our visit to the Modern Art Gallery and our walk along Christ Church meadows to the Botanical Gardens. I have been to Oxford before, so it was a treat to learn something new. Many thanks to Sylvia for this!A Lovely Walk with Sylvia

Before our tour with Sylvia began, we had already done a tour of several hours with a larger group. By the time we chose, all the sights had already closed. Also, it was pouring rain. In her most wonderful way, Sylvia managed to guide us through Oxford for two hours, telling us new and interesting stories and, despite the unfavorable weather, keeping us entertained until the end. She was able to answer all of our questions, was friendly, accommodating and very considerate of all our needs. We really enjoyed the tour with her. After the tour, as discussed, she sent us a few more tips for good breakfast cafés and great photo spots. We are very grateful to her for this unforgettable tour. ♥️We forgot the rain...
