I'm a Brazilian historian and film researcher who first came to Switzerland in 2020 to complete my postdoc in Film Studies at the Université de Lausanne—and ended up falling in love with the country. I chose to make Lucerne my home, and now I'm certified as a tour guide with Best of Switzerland Tours.

What excites me most is sharing my discoveries with others. Whether we're exploring history, art, local cuisine, architecture, or cinema, I love bringing Lucerne's stories to life and seeing this beautiful city through fresh eyes.

Our family group of 10 did a 2 hour tour of Lucerne with Tainah and she was a wonderful guide who gave us a great overview of the city! She was very flexible and answered all of our questions, she gave us history & brought us to of all of the most visited sites and gave us advice and suggestions for the rest of our Lucerne visit. I’d definitely recommend a tour with her and schedule it on your first day so you can use all of her suggestions for your remaining visit!A wonderful tour of Lucerne!
