- I have a long experience in Travel Industry working as a local Tour Guide and as a Tour Leader. I have guided people from all over the world, including USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia.

WHERE I LIVE

I now live in a very beautiful green city of Oslo, Norway. This year it is announced the most ecologically clean city in Europe. Earlier I was based in the Lake Land area of Finland selling winter tours, also working as a tour Guide.

WHAT I LOVE

- I love history, arts and very fond of nature. 

- I have passion for the people, country, culture and traditions of the region.

- I love my job and I have my own way of presenting things, and like explaining why things are different. 

- I read a lot and try to show and tell a little extra.

We rescheduled at the guide's suggestion, because we were told there were better food options during the new time. However, what was supposed to be 6 tastings was actually two, with a (shared) chocolate bar in between. There would have been ice cream at the end to make it 3 very small food tastings, but after 4 hours into a 2.5 hour tour everyone's patience was wearing thin, and actual food was needed, so we passed on the ice crem.

I spent the most wonderful morning yesterday with Tanya Lisa .. not only is she extremely knowledgeable about everything Oslo, but she is also just an amazing person!! So hospitable and kind!!!Tanya Lisa is ANAZING!!!

Everything was as expected. But not only. Tanya Lisa gave us a warm welcome to Oslo and a great overview of history and the new town. So many information although she had an accident the day before. A great Thank you to her and our best wishes to get well. It's very good we had the tour with her!Highly recommended

As a solo traveler new to Norway, I was searching for a guide who could truly unlock the magic and mysteries of this beautiful country. Tanya Lisa exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Tanya's love and passion for Norway are obvious within five minutes of meeting her. She doesn't just offer tours; she carefully curates experiences that perfectly blend a visitor's interests with her extensive knowledge of Norway's rich history and culture. Her conscientious approach ensures that each tour is unique and meaningful. I was particularly interested in Norwegian cuisine, and Tanya arranged an incredible food tasting tour. We visited six establishments that beautifully showcased the evolution of Nordic food, all the way from the Viking age to the present day. Her ability to tailor such a specific and fascinating experience made my trip truly unforgettable. Our tour guide, Tanya Lisa, delivered some of the most quotable lines of our Scandinavian adventure. “What does it cost to live here?” “What do you think?” 🫥 “Where do you recommend buying a Norwegian sweater?” “Norway.” “We’re doing a sailing tour later.” “That’s not really sailing.” Tanya Lisa seemed to us to have what we’ve learned is a typical Norwegian social attitude, which is straightforward and occasionally harsh. I think our conversations just sort of crossed paths in the same directions without quite meeting at a point of really understanding. The variety of food was more or less what we imagined. The first stop was very traditional and memorable. At the last one, her coupons didn’t cover the four cappuccinos she had offered, so we got two cappuccinos and two coffees. We won’t ever forget this tour, but we also wouldn’t recommend it strongly.Real food, real blunt

We arrived to Oslo on a cruise ship but we wanted a smaller private tour of the city. She met us near the ship and did not disappoint. Went spent three hours with her and during that time were walked to three areas of the city. She helped us understand history and the current conditions. She gave us good pointers so that when we went back to points of interest that we made the most of the time we had in the city. She was knowledge and pleasant. We had a good tour and it fulfilled our expectations. It was nice to step away from the crowds of the cruise ship and do something at own on pace that focused on our interest. Great introduction to Oslo

Tanya Lisa did a terrific job. We arrange a tour of Vigeland Park, and her knowledge and passion was apparent. The park is beautiful but can be overwhelming. It was great getting an overview of the park along with specific details regarding the various sculptures. If you want an in-depth tour of the park, Tanya Lisa is a terrific choice.Loved her knowledge and passion
