After almost a year of communicating with Trevor and looking forward to our Whales and Wine excursion it was almost like meeting an old friend when he picked up our group of 4 at our hotel in CapeTown. While he was more than willing to let us alter the plans we trusted his would be perfect and they were! A wealth of knowledge about the local area and really fun choices for stops and dining. Highly recommend! Great Day!

Trevor is a charming and knowledgeable tour guide. He clearly knows his wines and it shows. We had a great day and would thoroughly recommend his services. Although if you are particular about the wines to view I would suggest up front communication…… we were happy to go with Trevor’s suggestions and they worked for us.Great day out despite the weather

Trevor did a great job coordinating our wonderful day in Capetown. We saw the seals on Dukier island as well as the beautiful Kristenbosch Gardens. And had a delicious lunch at a local fish shack. It was amazing and Trevor was a wealth of knowledge about Capetown!Fun day in Capetown

My wife and I spent a day with Trevor in early March 2025 during which we visited three wineries that Trevor recommended. From start to finish it was a great day and we’d absolutely recommend Trevor to anyone wanting a friendly, informative, entertaining and authentic guided tour in Cape Town. (Both wine tasting or a more general trip) Trevor’s communication was great both during the booking process and in the run up to the trip. He arrived on time and took us in a very clean vehicle. Right from the start, Trevor spoke with knowledge and passion on a wide range of topics, not just wine. He engaged with us throughout, keen to understand more about us, our lives and what we wanted from the day. He made sure that my wife got exactly what she wanted from a wine tasting experience and made sure that, as a non drinker, I got as much out of the day as she did. The wineries and wine recommendations were well received and Trevor comes into his own when it comes to how knowledge of how wine is made, markets, distributed and best consumed. All in all a great day, and that’s before the hour we spent watching workers dig a bloody big hole! Thanks Trevor, you helped make our trip a great one Highly recommend

We had the absolute pleasure of spending two days with Trevor as our private guide, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment Trevor arrived, it was clear that he was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely kind and passionate about sharing the beauty and history of the Cape Town area. On our first day, we started with a visit to the colorful Bo-Kaap, where Trevor shared fascinating insights into the rich cultural history of the area. Then, we made our way to the iconic Cape of Good Hope. On the drive there, Trevor pointed out so much local wildlife that we would have easily missed on our own. His keen eye and deep understanding of the natural environment really made the journey come alive! Once we reached Cape of Good Hope, Trevor’s knowledge of the history, wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes made the experience even more special. We then wrapped up the day at Boulders Beach, where Trevor gave us a deeper understanding of the penguin conservation efforts—such a memorable visit! On our second day, we headed to Stellenbosch, where we visited some incredible wineries. Trevor’s expertise in wine truly made the experience stand out, and his recommendations were perfect. We enjoyed fantastic wines in beautiful vineyard settings while learning about the wine-making process from Trevor’s knowledgeable perspective. Trevor was always punctual, thoughtful, and accommodating, ensuring we were comfortable and making the most of every moment. If you’re looking for a guide who knows Cape Town inside and out, can show you both the iconic sights and hidden gems, and is a genuinely kind person, we highly recommend Trevor! Amazing

We had a great day out with Trevor. Apart from visiting some beautiful wineries and tasting some great wines, we also learnt so much about the area. We found Trevor really friendly and knowledgeable. We also went to a really nice restaurant in Stellenbosch for lunch. All in all 100% great.Great day out

Trevor is knowledgeable about Cape Town, but really well versed in wine. He picked out 3 vineyards that were all excellent and kept us entertained the whole day. I give him my highest recommendation if you wish to book a wine tour on Withlocals. Fun day with Trevor

We had a great tour of Stellenbosch with Trevor, who took us to some beautiful wineries and introduced us to a wonderful selection of wines. The region is stunning, with loads of classy wineries and chic restaurants. Trevor is super knowledgeable about wine and is a great source of information about the South Africa and the Western Cape. Highly recommend him as a guide!Amazing Wine and Stunning Scenery

Our three days with Trevor have been fantastic. We could not have had a better host, we have felt safe at all times, we have seen very charming places and above all we have enjoyed the city a lot.
