"Guiding is about sharing, and sharing is life – life is passion!

Born in the Basque Country and raised in Barcelona, I’ve been on the move ever since. I’ve lived in Denmark, Germany, Austria, and Ecuador, working in International Commerce, and earned a Business Degree alongside certifications as an official Hiking and Cycling guide.

For the past 35 years, Barcelona has been my home, and traveling to discover new cultures is one of my greatest passions. After years of hospitality from around the world, I naturally began welcoming others and showing them the beauty of the places I’ve explored. My interests include hiking, cycling, skiing, trail running, and basketball.

Once in Barcelona, don't miss hiking the majestic cliffs and needles of Montserrat’s north face – a true natural wonder, cycling through the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Costa Brava.

This tour was absolutely fantastic and just what we were looking for. We got to see the monastery before there were huge crowds which was ideal. And then we started our hike up the mountain. Uni personalized the tour to our group, asking questions about what we wanted out of the experience as we went along. Overall, it was an unforgettable day that we highly recommend.Great guide

Everything was excellent. Great tour, beautiful hike and very friendly, attentive guide. I was with my grandma, who is not very mobile anymore, and Uni always made sure that everyone was OK. Tours with the guide Uni are highly recommended. THANK YOU!!!Everything was excellent

We had a tour with Uni to Montserrat today. First of all: Uni is a super nice, authentic guide who is up for any kind of fun. Our tour was held in German and despite not speaking a native language, we understood everything really well! From the pick-up to the stay in Montserrat to the return transport, everything was very well thought out. We thought it was great that we were there at 9 a.m., as the crowds didn't arrive until a little later. That way we at least had some "privacy" in the monastery and on the paths. Another plus point is the maximum number of participants, 8 people. We drove in a small van, so it was great to get chatting. We thought that the tour offered the perfect variety between joint exploration, exercise and private free time. Uni also had great "local tips" for restaurants etc. All in all: absolutely recommended! Thank you, Uni! Celine and JohannesUni is a super nice

The visit of Montserrat with Uni was well organized: - Meeting point in Barcelona is very central and easy to find - Transportation in van is confortable and felt safe - Visiting hours are good as they prevented us arriving with larger groups and crowds - Tour and information are interesting and accessible (Uni was able to speak in English, German and Spanish) - Uni is very nice and had a lot to share about the city and Montserrat. Overall, this is a good experience to get out of the city and discover a glimpse of the beautiful nature around without spending an entire day outside the city.The visit of Montserrat with Uni was well organized

Uni was a very good guide. He was kind, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and considerate. His prices were more than affordable. I loved the hike and the views, everything was gorgeous. Uni brought us to the best viewpoints and was adapting his speed to the physical capacities of the people in my hiking group. The whole excursion was supposed to last 6 hours but we spent an extra hour hiking and the guide didn’t even mind. I 100% recommend Uni and his excursions!Montserrat hike
