Ciao! I'm not just a local: I'm a true Venetian, born and raised here! The story of Venice is, in some aspects, the story of my family too: to me every corner, brick or stone is familiar and has an interesting story to tell.

Not only I love Venice: I'm also very interested in cultures, literatures and stories from all over the world. That's why I studied history and languages at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. After the graduation I worked for five years for a local travel agency here in Venice as a tour leader. Thanks to that job I realized that I wanted to become an independent and licensed tour guide to share my passion for my city with travellers from overseas, so I did it.

In my opinion a tour is an interactive tool for exchanging knowledge and experiences: for travellers a tour with me is a good chance for discovering a real and living Venice, and for me it's the chance of looking at it with new perspectives.

I feel very comfortable with families, small groups and individuals not only because I support a sustainable tourism but also because I can easily make friends with them and let them feel relaxed and at home: my Venice will become their city too! Moreover, I think it's easier and more fun to discover and enjoy an authentic Venice with friends :)

Valentina P, the “Bubbly Venetian”, made our “off the beaten path” tour fun and interesting. Anyone can show you San Marco Square. She showed us where Venetians live, where she shops, discussed how Venetians think and feel about a variety of subjects. We came away feeling we had a glimpse of Venice’s soul. We spent time in the Rialto market, which was fascinating. We passed by her girlhood home. We gleaned valuable suggestions for further explorations on our own, away from the madding crowds, for which Venice is so well known. This is the tour, Valentina is the guide, to pick when you want to learn Venice.The fun way to see Venice

Valentina was LOVELY!!! Aside from being so knowledgeable and easy to communicate with she is completely charming and sweet. She changed the way we will think of Venice, forever! Hemos hecho el tour para familias con Valentina. Ha sido muy cariñosa con los niños y ha tenido detalles con ellos muy bonitos. Sobretodo mi hija pequeña ha estado encantada con el regalo que le ha hecho. Cuando vas con niños y quieres ver la ciudad es un poco difícil que todos estén contentos y disfruten, así que este tipo de tour es muy recomendable. Estupenda!!

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Valentina was amazing--so fun for our kids and so kind to our entire family. We had so much fun, and learned so much. It was a great intro to the big tourist sites in Venice, but even better, Valentina showed us placed only locals know about and took us to locations we wouldn't have found ourselves. We just loved wandering the streets with her and learning about life in Venice, today and in the past. By the end of the tour, we were all hugging. We did a lot of tours throughout our 2.5 weeks in Italy, with a lot of guides, and my very picky children rated our experience with Valentina has their number one activity. We are a family of 4 (kids 10 and 13 year old) and LOVED our time with Valentina!! So informative and truly a local with so much knowledge. She was chill and engaging with the kids - just enough information but not so "lecture-y" that she lost the kids. She also got us a ticket for an observation deck that was incredible! Would highly recommend her! She even responded to questions after the tour!!Valentina is awesome!

I was only in Venice for the day and was travelling with my 8 yr old and 17 yr old. Valentina was great from the beginning to the end regarding communication and meeting up with her to begin the tour. She was really enjoyable to be with and talk to. It was like having an old friend show you around, even though we had just met. She was born and raised in Venice and can show you or tell you anything you want to know. It was a really hot day and she knew just how to navigate the streets to keep us mostly in the shade!! She was so knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. There is no way we would have been able to see all that we did, and get there too (there are many streets and turns) in the short time that we did. We had a fabulous morning and she gave us plenty of tips and recommendations after our time with her was finished. I highly recommend booking with Valentina!!! Valentina knows Venice!!!

Our family friendly tour of Venice with Valentina was absolutely fabulous! She was so genuinely warm, friendly and knew her city, its people and charms like the back of her hand. Valentina was so engaging with my 10 and 7 year old and kept us all fascinated every step of the way! She gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations as well! Because of Valentina we got to see a totally different side of Venice we would have never been able to experience otherwise. Fantastic!Wonderful!
