Since 2014, I run a Travel and Photography website where I share my reportage with a taste for the unusual, from Rome to the Polar Regions.

Storytelling is more than a simple passion for me and I am grateful that now it is my full-time job.

We paid 304 euros for a two hour tour, expecting to be wowed at this top rate. But we were not, lower rate would be more appropriate.Not the top dollar we paid.

We wanted to explore Rome beyond the usual trail, and booked a tour of Garbatella with Valeria. Valeria created a very interesting and enjoyable tour of the area, looking at it's history, architecture, public spaces, art and social culture. Valeria is a very knowledgeable and engaging guide, and Garbatella itself is a fascinating part of Rome to explore. A different side of Rome

We had an awesome time touring the colosseum and forum with Valeria. She was extremely knowledgeable and patient and taught us so much. She was very attentive to our 11, 9 & 5 year old kids and made the tour fun for them as well!Super fun family day!

We had an interesting tour of the Colosseum & Forum with Valeria. Lots of quality information. The children age 7 and 9 enjoyed the scavenger hunt (spot the archaeological features). If you want to see these places with children I would recommend Valeria. Very knowledgeable and has good tips! Mid-week in May (9:30am) it was already getting crowded with large groups but she knew where to stand in quieter spots and keep children in the shade for this private tour. We had the option to stay on longer in the Forum if we wanted to explore afterwards. Fun facts about animals and birds too, keeping the younger ones engaged! PS we also did the ‘Gladiator School’ experience by Via Appia Antica, Rome which tied in nicely! Child friendly Tour - Rome

Valeria was a wonderful host, helping us organise tickets etc in advance of our visit, and carefully shepherding us during our time with her. She was flexible in the set up, taking us round the forum before the Coliseum due to the time we had booked for the latter. She was full of fascinating information and mostly kept our two, very hot, children engaged.A great host

We had a very special tour during the Pope’s funeral. Even though Rome was busier than ever, Valeria found the most quiet spaces in one of Rome’s most important historic sites, to explain to us how this magnificent structure was built, what the importance was during all centuries. She has been so kind to us, adapting the tour to our needs and time, giving me and my son the loveliest last day of our stay in Rome.Closseum at it’s best thanks to Valeria

We had a great tour with Valeria. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and had managed to secure tickets at an extremely busy time. She also knew where to go for speedy entry at each area. We have a five year old, so the scavenger hunt was helpful and enjoyable, and the rest of the tour very interesting! Fantastic tour of the Forum and Colosseum
