My husband and I had a wonderful afternoon trying tasty treats, fantastic food and beverages of all kinds with Vera. It was clear from the outset Vera is a true local who knows the establishments she takes you to well, oftentimes jumping in to lead the tastings herself which was a lot of fun. She gives great insight into the places and takes you to truly local spots. After she was attentive and responsive to provide details about the spots we went and provide additional recommendations. We had a wonderful afternoon with Vera. We did not feel like we were on a tour, but felt like we were spending the afternoon with a good friend or family member! Vera was lovely. She had a great sense of humor and was warm and friendly. The food, wine and port were excellent and she gave us great insight into other things to see and do during our stay in Porto. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour with Vera!Excellent Foodie Tour

We enjoyed our Tasting Tour with Vera!
Vera is wonderful. The food and wine tasting was delicious, very informative, and pure entertainment. We had so much fun with Vera. She even managed to stay patient while a couple of our party of six tested her to the max. It was a great kickoff to our stay in Portugal! Highly recommendedTasty, informative & fun

Vera was an unexpected surprise. Previously recommended by friends. Vera is down to earth with a wealth of knowledge and a fantastic sense of humor. We greatly enjoyed our time roaming through the streets of Porto, taking in the sights with a new life long friend.

I can’t recommend Vera’s food tour enough! We had all ages - from 7 years old to 70 - and she managed to keep everyone entertained! We ate so many delicious and interesting foods and enjoyed listening to the stories behind the dishes and culture. Vera went above and beyond by making sure everyone was engaged by just being so friendly, fun and welcoming - we all felt like we were getting a tour from an old friend. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon and visit to Porto!Great afternoon with Vera!

My husband, I, and two of our friends had a 10 tastings of Porto with Vera. This was the first time any of us went on a food tour. This was also by far my favorite guided experience. If I had to describe Vera in one word, it would be PERSONALITY. She was funny, and knowledgeable, and engaging. She had a perfect English, which sometimes could be a challenge in Portugal. I’m usually pretty picky with food, but I loved everything we tasted. We also got many tips on dining in Portugal. We went back for lunch at one of the places Vera took us and met her there with another group. She made sure to stop by to chat with us and answer whatever new questions we had. What a fun afternoon! Vera is so personable and knowledgeable about food and Porto. We all tried many new things and had to skip dinner because we had no room left!
