Well I am a person who likes to enjoy other cultures, like music, food, philosophy, photography. I like to be a very open mind, and I been a yoga practioner for some years and also yoga instructor, and for the same reason I like Indian culture, I enjoy nature I believe the best medicine for the mind, spirit and body is to be at nature. And I always glad to meet new persons fron another countries is litle like travel without moving so far, and of course I enjoy music any kind all the depends of the occasion, and I like dogs and cats too, so hope to create a great experience here I Guatemala city.

Last day of a fabulous trip to Guatemala,we were looking forward to our food tour.It was advertised as a 10 food tasting tour,we got 3 tastings, and no information about the regional foods.We were abandoned by Vito in a food market,with an excuse he had to attend to his shop urgently.It was in a very unsafe area,and one of the group nearly got her bag snatched.He gave us very little history of Guatemala,but had to listen to him in his personal reflections on the philosophy of life,which we had no interest in .I have travelled the World(122 countries so far) and do food tours wherever possible.This tour by far the worst I have ever done,a complete scam.I write for travel forums and will voice my misgivings.It cost us €72 each, I honestly feel we should be refunded.I have used the services of Travel with Locals before,but would be reluctant to use your group again Maria LeechNot as Advertised

Do NOT take part in this tour with Vito. Firstly, he requested to have the tour moved from 4pm to 4:45. This made it closer to sunset and darkness, in a non touristic area, with a stranger. He then attempted to take us to three different restaurants, which all were closed. He had no plan or idea of places that he would be taking us to, and eventually ended up asking random strangers about where we could find authentic Guatemalan food. We finally ended up at a random hole in the wall, that was closing, that he had never been to. He then told us he had been a vegan for the last 15 years, which makes me believe he does not have the truest sense of what the Guatemalan food experience would be. I strongly advise to NOT sign up for this tour!!! Worst tour we have ever had

After the tour was confirmed, Vito asked to move the tour for 1 hrs later. Then he confirmed new time and shortly after that said he can't make it and offered somebody else. I declined this offer because I didn't want to deal with Vito anymore in any form or shape.Cancellation of the confirmed tour

We were able to experience Guatemala City in a way that would not have been possible without Vito’s guidance. The hidden arcade and oldest pub and wonderful bookstore were delightful discoveries. His interest in architecture added to the experience. Communication was good. Insider insght into Guatemala City
