Hello!

I'm Walter, 36, and I have a profound love for my hometown. I'm confident you'll feel the same!

Currently, I'm pursuing a Master's degree in Social Innovations and Communication at the University of Cagliari, having previously earned my degree in Political Science and International Relations.

My professional endeavors extend to being a speaker for the University Radio Station of Cagliari, as well as holding membership in the International Red Cross.

Beyond my academic and professional pursuits, I have a passion for exploring new places, indulging in diverse cuisines (and yes, I'm quite the adept cook), savoring fine wines, and reveling in lively parties and aperitifs.

During our time together, I'll guide you through the enchanting streets of the old town, perhaps over a glass of exquisite Sardinian wine. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can venture to one of the seven hills of my city to observe flamingos, especially captivating during the sunset when the colors are most enchanting.

And of course, no visit would be complete without a stroll along the stunning beach of Poetto!

We spent a great afternoon with Walter tasting some traditional Sardinian foods in all sorts of different places. Apart from the eating itself, it was also good to get the background on the different foods. The people in the bars/shops where we tasted the foods were also very welcoming, friendly and helpful. On top of that, we covered history and culture as we walked between the different venues. Small and personal tours like this are a great way to see a city - much more interaction with the guide and therefore much more informative. And you can go at a pace that suits you best. I can certainly recommend Walter as a guide and should we be back in Cagliari, we'll call on him again!Tasty food tour

Walter shared the treasures of his home town — its food, wine, history, politics, and people— all on a relaxed and fun filled Sunday. He took us off the well traveled routes to quiet alleys, hidden pastry shops, and quiet cafes where local families were sharing meals. He even drove us to see the beach and the many flamingos. Walter was a wealth of information on his native island. What a beautiful place and such a wonder to see through his eyes. I highly recommend using him as your guide if you make it to this wonderful place rich in history and culture!Beaitiful Cagliari

Walter was a really lovely friendly host. The whole point of a food tour is to however, enjoy the local food. The tour is misleading with 6 eateries mentioned. We ate: 1. A pizzeta (approx €3) 2. A platter if antipasti with cold cut meats and cheese with a glass of wine each (approx €20) 3. An amaretti biscuit shop (free samples) Even then Walter said we didn’t have to go to the last stop. Very expensive for €82 per person and whilst we had a good tour of the city, this was a food tour. We actually went out for food after! Great host but not enough food

Me met Walter a few minutes early and got right underway with the tour. Walter is intimately knowledgeable on the history of his city and provided good information about the various Districts we walked through. We had some fun along the way, and very much appreciated the pace of the tour and the information he provided. We certainly recommend him as a capable guide. Awesome Cagliari City & Underground Tour

My wife and I were on a cruise with a one-day stop in Cagliari. We weren't sure how to take in all of the rich history and culinary traditions of Sardinia in such a short time. Then, we discovered Walter. He met us outside the cruise terminal gate, and and drove us to the highest of the seven hills surrounding Cagliari, where there was a walled-in city that dated back to the Roman era. We then proceeded to walk downhill along cobblestone streets and charming alleys enjoying the local fare, and even strolled through an open air market where we sampled many of the local foods. The price we paid meant that Walter paid for the food and even the wine that we sampled. We covered about seven miles of walking, eating our way down the hill. Of course, we were fine with the walking, and Walter had tailored this trip to our tastes. For those that want to walk less, he would assuredly tailor the day to your whims.
