Hola! Encantado de conocerte

William

I am a Singaporean and love meeting people with great passion, and sharing our city state of Singapore - "A City in the Garden". I have been guiding for the past 10 years and am a Singapore Tourism Board licensed guide, and also an in-house guide to the respective 10 museums & gallery.

I traveled a lot to various countries and understand how important a local guide is in providing visitors with a memorable holiday. That's what I want to ensure to my visitors in Singapore, that receive similar expectations; an unforgettable trip.

Singapore is a relatively small island and a multi-racial country with great excitement from the culture heritage trail, war world II trail & museums, and marvel at the different kind of foods. A special food trail would be enlightening experience, or a visit to our Botanical Gardens- a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Simply enjoy the River cruise busing you around the Marina Bay, Boat Quay & Clark Quay. It's just too many to offer and I can customize tour a package for you in accordance to your time, schedule, and budget.

I've received visitors from all over the world including cruise liners passengers, arranging airport and sea port transfer.

I certainly look forward to receiving any inquiries, and remain at your disposal at all times.

William was very kind and entertaining in the five-hour tour he curated for us, a family of four, introducing us to dishes of Chinese, Indian and Malay origin. He also provided us with water and other drinks to keep us hydrated. His extensive knowledge of the various Hawker stalls was very useful and set us up nicely for the remainder of our Singaporean sojourn, and for that we are grateful. We wish that he delved into much greater detail of the food, its history, and the complex history of Singapore as we ate, as well as the provenance of ingredients and the cooking techniques that went into preparing those dishes. We occasionally felt "lonely" as he brought us the dishes, provided a brief description - rarely an explanation, and he sometimes forgot to mention what they were called - then left us alone to eat them. Of course he mostly did sit with us, but he could have taken that opportunity to share with us more of the very extensive knowledge we're sure he possesses. In his enthusiasm, he even failed to clarify that one of the Hawker stalls from which we ate no longer held a Michelin Star (it was still extremely delicious food, though)! He advocated for Hawker markets, but not once did he mention Peranakan cuisine, despite complete knowledge of our upcoming reservation at Candlenut. In fact, we felt a slight aversion to the modernisation of Singaporean cuisine, which was a shame. It was, as mentioned, a good start overall to our stay in Singapore; however, for the price we paid per person, we expected the ratio between core knowledge and boundless enthusiasm to be more balanced.A Feeding Fest of Singaporean Flavours

I had asked William to put together a tour including history, food and culture for our group of 7 - including 2 who had never been to Singapore. We all learnt a lot during our morning with him - he is engaging and charming and imparts facts and history in an easily grasped manner. We visited all of the locations I had asked for - the brief had been for a very general 'overview' of Singapore and its history, culture and food in a morning and William aced it - everyone loved it and we all left with new tastes, knowledge and information. Thank you William, we loved our time with you.Knowledgeable, fun and entertaining

Our family of 4 from Brisbane with 2 teenagers spent a wonderful afternoon with William. He went above and beyond to look after us (keeping us hydrated and as cool as possible), provide us with the most amazing food experiences Singapore has to offer and overall, just so friendly and sweet. He gave us a real insight into life in Singapore, how the different cultures work together, lessons on how to order at Hawker markets and use the MRT network. We could not have asked for a kinder, friendlier guide to welcome us to Singapore. And considering we only had a few days to explore the island, we felt like he fitted at least 2 days of experiences into one afternoon. It was the highlight of our brief holiday and I have already recommended William to many friends back home in Australia.Best personal family tour

This is an absolute must do tour when you come to Singapore. We had the pleasure of being guided by the wonderful William, whose knowledge on Singapore, its people, culture and food was amazing. We sampled tasty dishes from Chinatown, little India and from the Malaysian quarter too. What a fabulous way to get to know Singapore better. Thank you William!Fabulous Food Tour

William did an excellent job of giving my parents, my boyfriend and myself a great overview of Chinatown’s hawker Centers with interesting insights and wit while at the same time accommodating for my parents in speaking slowly and super clear. The food was amazing and so much, we had trouble finishing. We highly highly recommend doing a tour with William! He is the best! Thank you again William for making our trip to SG even more memorable ❤️🙌Couldn’t have wished for a better guide!

I had a fantastic experience touring the hawker centers with William! He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable—not only about the food but also about the cultural and historical background of each spot we visited. He introduced me to a variety of delicious dishes I wouldn’t have known to try on my own, and his enthusiasm made the whole tour feel like I was exploring with a local friend. Highly recommend William to anyone looking to get an authentic and insightful taste of the local food scene!William was Amazing

William, was the best tour guide we’ve had in a very long time. He catered the tour to every specification we needed. He was wonderful at explaining the history of the hawker markets, and it was great getting to try so many different cuisines! Come ready to eat and expect to leave very full. Would highly recommend this tour with William. We couldn’t have had a better experience!Hawker Markets with William! 10/10

As for William, I can only say good things. He is an extremely pleasant and polite person. Everything is perfectly organized. He is also very considerate, and you decide how much you want to interact with him — if you ask questions, he will answer in great detail, and if you prefer less interaction, he respects that space, which is something we truly appreciated. Regarding the tour itself, we chose not to make any changes to the itinerary and instead followed what he had planned for us. That way, we could try new things — experiences we wouldn’t have tried on our own. In Chinatown, we went straight to try a Michelin-starred chicken rice stall. There was a long line, but it was worth it — the food was delicious. Then we went to Little India. There, we had a simpler but very interesting experience with new flavors — dishes that were quite different from the Indian food we’ve had in Europe. Very interesting. Perhaps the weakest and most disappointing stop was the Malay food. The dishes were very basic and lacked culinary value, especially compared to the previous two places. All in all, we were happy to have taken the tour. It allowed us to do things we wouldn’t normally do if we were traveling on our own. We were also very glad we chose William — a guy who’s truly worth meeting.Nice Tour
