Scotland has been my home for seven years now and I have developed such passion for its history, traditions and customs that I feel in need of sharing it with other people. In fact, I’ve shown around Scotland to friends and family so many times and out of personal pleasure that a job where I get paid for doing something I enjoy so much sounds like a no-brainer.

Although I have not pursued a degree in History - my background is Business and Economics - I used to work as a tour guide for a Spanish-speaking operator up until the COVID-19 pandemic hit. I have always been keen on history, so even before working in the field I had researched and studied Scottish history in my spare time, and I have immersed in Scottish culture by singing in a local choir. I have therefore built good deal of knowledge about Scotland. Moreover, I am good at telling a story, which ultimately I feel is what makes a tour guide stand out.

What a great way to see Edinburgh Castle! Xavier was knowledgeable, personable, and flexible! It was also awesome getting a tour from a fellow choir geek! While there is a structure to the tour, there are also options and I love that we got to see various things that he recommended as well as we were interested in. The castle itself is stunning and gave great views of the city!Fantastic Tour by an Amazing Guide

We had a fantastic stroll through Edinburgh with Xavier. He is nice, funny and knows how to bring the history and stories of this city alive. In addition he provided us with helpful advice, where to go/ what to see after our tour. Great fun!Insights of a wonderful city

Xavier was a patient and charming guide. We were a group with mixed abilities and he was flexible and accommodating. We appreciated his use of multimedia while touring and by pointing out things we would have missed otherwise. He is knowledgable about so many aspects of the city. All members of the party would happily recommend Xavier as a guide!Auld Lang Syne

We had the pleasure of being guided through Edinburgh Castle by Xavier, who is an absolutely phenomenal tour guide. His knowledge of the castle's history was simply astounding, and he delivered the information with such enthusiasm and passion that it made the entire experience unforgettable. His engaging storytelling transported us back in time, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the rich tapestry of Scotland's past. His friendly demeanor and willingness to answer any questions added an extra layer of enjoyment to the tour. Hicimos dos tours con Xavi, mi familia y yo. El tour corto por la cuidad y el de los fantasmas. Ambos imperdibles, Xavi es extraordinario para contar historias y hasta actuarlas. El tour de los fantasmas nos tocó mucha lluvia y viento y aún así no pudimos dejarlo, súper recomendable. Un placer haber conocido Edimburgo con Xavi. Muchas gracias Fantastico

Xavier is very knowledgeable and passionate about showing the best of Edinburg. He is a great and fun story teller. We were late to our meeting point and he was accommodating enough to meet us a the train station so that we don’t lose any more time starting our tour. Great guide. Great guy!Great Tour!!
