Hi! I'm Ylenia and I come from Northern Italy.

Years ago, I had one of the most beautiful holidays ever, here in Naples.

I well remember the moment when the spark struck with this city: one morning I was leaving the hotel when I saw a guy who was driving the scooter with one hand, and with the other one, he was holding a tray full of cups of coffee. It all happened on an old and busy street.  There, I said my first "wow!" Naples is unique, energetic, artistic, and vibrant.

And after traveling around the world, I moved here to Naples.

I have always felt a strong bond with this city.  For me, it is an open book, and I always say that probably, I was Neapolitan in a past life.

I have lived here for many years. Today, I still clearly feel the emotions that has someone who sees Naples for the first time. I know the energy that moves inside you visiting this place. At the same time, I know what means to live here, in a place full of history, with a strong, magnetic, and attractive personality.

Naples is special. It is a city that takes your heart by storm.

And last, but not least. I'm a passionate chef. During my trips around the globe, I've always brought with me the art of Italian cooking, teaching the tricks of our cuisine to people from many countries and all ages. Today, I love to open my home to cooking and teaching Italian recipes to people from all over the world.

Ylenia and her family are AMAZING hosts!!! She was so welcoming and loving to our kids and family and shared so many stories and facts about Naples!! We learned so many things and had the best time creating pizzas together as a family and trying local drinks and then making delicious chocolate calzones! Our kids (age 10 and 8) started off a little tired but Ylenia was so patient and fun and they soon were soaking it all up! They have the most beautiful home and farm and garden and we all loved seeing it all and their beautiful view!! If you are looking for a wonderful taste of Naples authentic pizza with a relaxing family time to connect and enjoy then definitely do this activity and be sure to give Ylenia a hug from us too!! SO FUN & DELICIOUS!a WONDERFUL evening for our family!

We had a four generation pizza class on a beautiful farm in the heart of Naples. Our children loved making and eating their food and our guide was so great with the kids. She thought of everything and there was food to spare. We felt like we were part of an Italian family sitting in their home kitchen. Thank you so much for sharing with us! Great Family Experience

Ylenia is a great guide - do not hesitate to choose her to show you Napoli! She is incredibly knowledgeable of the city’s history and its most interesting parts. Food stop (buffalo mozzarella) was great. My family and I really enjoyed our tour with Ylenia.Amazing guide amd city

Our second tour via With Locals, and it was just as amazing as our first. This is definitely the best way to see a city. Ylenia was super friendly, EXTREMELY knowledgeable about Napoli and all of it’s history. She hit some of the main sites, but also took us on a different route so we would end at our cruise ship, through the Spanish quarter and another very typical residential neighborhood away from the crowds so we could see the real Napoli. Even though we ended up arriving about 15-20 min late and told her we didn’t expect her to do the full 2.5 hrs, she did that and a little more. Ylenia was engaging, informative, and flexible. You will not regret booking with her!The only way to see Napoli!

Had a great time being shown around Napoli by Ylenia, the food tour was fantastic (full at the end for sure) and local knowledge/facts learnt while walking from top of castle to Spanish Quarter an added bonus Even better as was a Saturday evening so the city was full of life, hustle and excitement by the many Neapolitans. A social person who is open to others, rich in history and ancient civilizations, who knows exactly what to say and when to say it, she generously helped me deal with one of the situations I was exposed to. I highly recommend doing business with her.When history speaks!

Had a great tour of Naples with Ylenia! Her knowledge of history is exceptional. She created a customized tour of the city according to my interests.
