Hi! I am Zarina, an environmental scientist, nature & history lover, and foodie (What do we say to the diet? Not today!). I study molecular fossils in archaeological sites of the indigenous people of Hokkaido, so this land is very special to me. It is my 4th year in Sapporo, and I really like this city with its unique historical sites, easy access to beautiful parks and forests, and cute birds that we can spot during the hike.

Zarina was well versed at Sapporo history and culture. She also was able to save us considerable time and money steering us clear of the tourist traps and showing us alternate stores and restaurants that were cheaper and closer to our hotel. She was also extremely flexible and was able to meet us at a different location as the original meeting place did not get relayed to her. Overall she was a wonderful guide I would higher recommend who was kind, considerate, knowledgeable, flexible and spoke English and Japanese very well! She was a 10 out of 10 guide. Strongly recommend! Zarina was amazingly sweet considerate and very knowledgeable!

This personalized walking tour was amazing. I lived in Japan and coming back we wanted to see non tourist local spots. Snowy and icy we easily navigated through Nakajima Koen (park) and viewed the sun through a telescope. We saw carp in local streams, enjoyed a local favorite curry soup, two stories underground. We met local dog owners and pet several Shiba Inu. Mostly though, our guide knew so much history and cultural context that Sapporo came alive for us. Thanks ZarinaSpecial local view of Sapporo

We had a wonderful time on our 3 Hour Walking Tour with Zarina. She is friendly, knowledgeable and met all of our requirements very well. Have left very good review on Booking.com (and Viator) for Zarina and to recommend the experience for other fellow travelers.Wonderful Time

Zarina spoke relatively good english so we communicated with her very well. She was very informative and gave us very interesting information about rhe places we visited. She also gave us options on what we wanted to seeZarina was very knowledgeable about Otaru and shared interesting information.

We had a wonderful time with our tourguide Zarina. She was extremely kind and patient. We started our tour much later than it was originally scheduled for because of the weather delay on the way from Tokyo to Sapporo.
