I spent a lovely afternoon with Vonny. She showed me the highlights of Surabaya in a short amount of time, since I was only there for a day. Not only does she know a lot about the city, she has a nice sense of humor as well. Vonny also stuffed me with all kinds of local food, which was much appreciated. ;)

Vonny was an incredible host. She made us feel comfortable and welcome. She took us to a traditional market and we saw a piece of Surabaya we wouldn't have seen without her. She shared her cooking skills and the history behind the dishes. We left full and happy! The coffee was amazing. Thank you again to Vonny and her family for having us.
