Stories Behind the Stones
We’d seen the sights before, but Simone brought them to life in a completely new way. His storytelling added colour, context, and depth to every stop and his kind, relaxed approach made the whole experience a joy. We also really appreciated his brilliant local tips and restaurant recommendations for the rest of our time in Rome. Highly recommend!

Flexibilty and knowledge
Paola was very flexible and agreed to meet me at my hotel rather than her usual meeting place and she adapted the tour accordingly. She showed me many hidden gems and despite a very warm day in Rome we covered a lot of ground and gave me lots of good information.

History and art
Francesca was a wonderful guide. Despite the heat she kept us and our teenagers engaged and interested in the art and history of Rome. She is clearly passionate about her work, and is able to make her knowledge relatable. She adjusted her tour as we went to include a savory snack of local Roman pizza which was delicious. We would hire her again for another tour if we had more time!
