Lovely and informative
Lucy was very accommodating of our young family and tailored the experience so all of us had things to look forwards to. The gold leaf workshop was fun for us as well as eating gold leaf ice cream from the shop it was invented! The historical districts were amazing. We really appreciated Lucy’s time and efforts with our family.

Awesome experience
We wanted to know more about Samarai, Geisha's and the history of Japan during the Edo period, and Raphael was a wealth of knowledge as we toured the Samarai District. He also cheerfully answered all of our questions about everyday life in today's Japan. And showed us where to find the best coffee in Kanazawa! I would highly recommend Raphael if you want an informative tour.

Excellent knowledge and flexibility!
Raph was an absolute pleasure! He communicated with us immediately after booking (we booked last minute!) and tailored our tour based on our timing, interests and then suggested our route on our own for the next day. We learned so much that we never would have known. He is a fun person to be around. I would give 11 stars if I could :).

Informative & relaxed
This was the first time I organised a private tour, totally appreciated it and will do it again. Selda was on time, helpful, easy-going & very informative & may I add very compromising when I mixed up the times. It was really worthwhile doing it this way.

Very nice tour & experience
Selda is a very pleasant person and fantastic tour guide. She accommodated our requests and tailored the tour to our needs. Selda is very knowledgeable of all the places we visited and of course the Japanese culture. She also helped us with dinner table reservations in excellent restaurants. Selda is an eloquent and knowledgeable guide who helped us make the most of our all too short visit to this lovely city. She has a lot of historical knowledge but is also easy to chat with about present-day Japan. She has good restaurant tips and even helped us make a reservation.
