Lucy was very accommodating of our young family and tailored the experience so all of us had things to look forwards to. The gold leaf workshop was fun for us as well as eating gold leaf ice cream from the shop it was invented! The historical districts were amazing. We really appreciated Lucy’s time and efforts with our family.

Nabeel was so patient with the barrage of questions from our family. There was no way this your could be done in 5 hours, yet we never were made to feel rushed. It was so nice to have a guide navigate the transit system for us, that saved us so much time!

Haq was passionate and adapted well to our large group that included kids. We learned a lot and got to discover some local things off the beaten path.

He engaged our kids in conversation, whilst also chatting with us adults. We have a few days in Hiroshima so Nabeel gave us a list of places to visit which was appreciated. Highly recommend

Lucy was a fantastic local host. It was terrible weather on the day of our 4hr tour but we took our time and learnt so much from her. Very knowledgeable insights into the Kanazawa way of life, then and now. We really enjoyed our time and were able to go back to visit some of our highlights again the next day. Family of four (with 2 late teens sons). We booked an Osaka to Kyoto day trip, and Osaka Highlights and Hidden Gem the next day with Naoki. Our sons commented that Naoki felt like a cousin from overseas taking us around. Apart from Naomi’s local knowledge and experience, his genuine warmth and kindness made this a memorable experience!

Yoji made the tour around Kanazawa such a pleasure. Whilst visiting all the major points of interest, the conversation flowed freely and we learned so much from him.
