Carlos was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about Japanese culture and made sure we were “good”tourists in Japan. He was easy to talk to and we had a lot in common. It was like hanging out with a good friend! He gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend!

Selda was very knowledgeable and accommodating. She walked us through the Samurai district and gave us lots of ideas about what to do in Kanazawa. Tried foods I never would have ordered which made the evening fun. However, only went to 2 restaurants and was not really a street food experience. Would have like to explore more locations and types of foods.

Pere was super kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. He is very personable and engaging. If we ever return to the area we will be asking for Pere again.

We were really looking forward to our dinner tour with Monse and I must say that it certainly didn’t disappoint. Monse has high energy and she is very social - a perfect fit for a party of 4 Australians. She introduced us to some fabulous restaurants and we were able to enjoy Kanazawa food at its best. We would recommend Monse to anyone wanting to experience the best of Kanazawa.

We were looking for an authentic Izakaya experience and Alejandro delivered (trust locals when they say go outside of Golden Gai to do so!). He was kind, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to spend time with. He’s built a huge network in the industry, so we were able to break bread with locals at each stop. If you’re looking for a guide with great vibes & bilingual, look no further.

Our tour today with Ai was fabulous. We loved the location because it was a local neighbourhood and not a highly touristed area. The tasting selections were delicious. Ai was very knowledgeable and chatty, answering all our questions and later sent some wonderful suggestions for restaurants for the rest of our stay.

We had a wonderful food tour with Sena! First of all, it was fun to be outside of central Tokyo and away from a touristy area. We enjoyed all of the different types of food she shared with us from sushi and gyoza to a seasonal treat of cherry blossom mochi. Everything was delicious! Thank you for a lovely tour.
