Competent and fun
Anselmo is the best private guide we’ve ever had. He is extremely competent and organized, and at the same time easy going and fun. I’d trust him with everything, he’d choose the best options available. I’d definitely try to engage him again on our next visit to Porto.

Delightful Douro Valley Tour
Anselmo is knowledgeable, helpful, funny and kind. We took a tour of the Douro Valley and enjoyed it immensely. Sharing stories was like conversing with an old friend. Every question answered with the wisdom of an experienced guide who took pride in his country and career. His knowledge of the region and the cultivation of the grapes was fascinating and insightful.

Great time with a fantastic guide
Gustavo took my family and I on a wonderful day to Coimbra, Aveiro and Mealhada. He was full of great stories, facts and useful information. We had lovely weather and saw the sights. Lunch at Mealhada was also outstanding. A memorable end to our séjour in Portugal.

Fantastic experience
I’ve been on two tours with Anselmo and they were both perfect. His knowledge of Porto, the Douro Valley, and wine is vast and he has great answers for every question you ask. He has shown us great views we wouldn’t possibly have found on our own and every spot we stopped was amazing. I highly recommend booking a tour with Anselmo, you’ll love it.

Cool trip to the countryside
Andre took us on a wonderful trip through the countryside and adapted the tour so our disabled guest didn't have to walk much. No questions went unanswered and we felt welcome everywhere we went.

Wonderful trip to the Douro valley
André is an excellent guide and a very sympathetic person. The day trip was very well organized by him and we had lots of fun. Moreover, André is also a very good driver and we felt safe and relaxed. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

A Great Day in the Douro Valley
We had a great day with Andre! He was on time, fun, clever, knowledgeable, a superior driver over tight roads, up-to-date on all matters of culture, Portuguese and global, music, politics, you name it We really enjoyed the places we stopped for wine tasting and especially lunch. I'm a tough customer to please and we highly recommend Andre!
