Anna provided us with a comprehensive look at the Rijksmuseum and its collection through the history, culture and politics of Amsterdam and the Netherlands. Based on her selection of paintings and objects to discuss, we came away with a much more complete understanding than we would have had exploring the museum on our own.

We had a wonderful family tour (two 15 year olds) with Rolf. Rolf struck a nice balance between speaking to the adults while at the same time holding the teenagers’ interest. We particularly enjoyed how he put the art in the broader historical context. We will definitely seek Rolf out for our next Rijksmuseum visit.
