We really enjoyed our walking tour around Barcelona with A Teo. We had only booked the previous evening, so we didn’t have tickets to go into some of the more famous Gaudi buildings, but we gleaned lots of information from the exteriors, which are so full of details, and it was far more entertaining and in-depth than a stroll around on our own would have been. She also took us into some unusual spots we would not necessarily have thought of: a pharmacy, a bakery, etc, which had wonderful, original Art Nouveau interiors. We can’t stop marveling at how beautiful the city is! Well worth it!Great walking tour around Barcelona

We enjoyed a memorable and informative tour of Barcelona modernist architects including Gaudi. She took us to several unusual sites that illustrated the rich and organic design of the Barcelona modernist. She also gave us a number of tips for other interesting sites that were not overrun by tourists and were just as, or more interesting than the iconic sites that draw the crowds. We enjoyed our time with Teo. She was prompt and was very knowledgeable of Barcelona, its architecture and history. We loved how she was able to show us examples of architecture by going into nooks and crannies in retail stores that had access to architecture. We reached out to Teo for a custom tour. We were coming to Barcelona with 3 moms and 7 kids. We needed something that would be entertaining for everyone. Since we were in Barcelona for a short time and it is difficult to try all the delicious food, we requested a Gaudi tour with small bites from multiple places. This would satisfy everyone and make the tour a little more enjoyable. Unfortunately, something must have slipped through the cracks since our kids were fed a ton of sugar items, some of which didn't seem as Spanish as we were hoping. By the end of the day and a large hot chocolate, every child requested to not have dessert that night since they'd already had too much sugar. The places she did take us were filled with history and very unique, which we were all grateful for the experience. We were hoping for a little more of the Spanish-flair/tapas in the food. Our kids loved the sesame crisps Teo brought at the beginning. Overall, it was enjoyable, but just a little too much sweet-filled. Unique and sweet-filled

Teo was very flexible in organizing our tour. She even managed to change the starting hour on very short request from our side! At the meeting point we immediately recognized her. She has an extremely individual personality and appearance - we liked that a lot. A.Teo is an informative guide who really knows her architectural history (she teaches it at university!). We loved hearing about the stories of the people who lived in the houses on Gracia and she pointed out some interesting features on the street and the houses which we would never have noticed. She also directed us to some lesser known Gaudi houses and we have booked into those tours. Seeing La Sagrada Familia through her eyes added a different dimension and really enhanced our experience. Teo was wonderful! We met at Casa Batllo, which was unfortunately covered for restoration, but she gave us an informative introduction to the Apple of Discord and Gaudí. We saw a lot of examples of modernism in Barcelona and even some hidden views from terraces in stores! She is lively, knowlegable, and prompt. We loved her! We spent a few hours on a walking tour with A. Teo (Oct 2018) looking at and learning about important buildings in Barcelona (not just, but including Gaudi). Teo is incredibly knowledgeable, really knows some gems and details usually missed by most people. She took u sinto places where she knew people and we were able to see some gardens, entrances and fireplaces we would never found on our own. Plus she was able to tell the stories and history that brought the details to life from the time these buildings were built until now. She clearly knows and loves her city. Most important perhaps is that she was great fun. She made us feel comfortable that we could ask and talk about anything. We had so much fun with her that we asked her to hang out with us after the tour and we talked about family and life in Barcelona for another hour. I booked a private tour with A.Teo and it was great! She even took care of booking my skip-the-line at the Sagrada. I learned so much about not only the architecture, but of Catalonian history: including historical cultural facts, traditions, etc. I would definitely recommend her for a tour. Please note: you do not visit Park Güell on this tour. Be sure to schedule yourself a separate visit for this, including prior booking of a time to visit the interior of the park. My group and I had such a wonderful experience working with Teo in Barcelona. We needed to pack in a lot of sightseeing into one day and Teo was able to combine and customize two half-day trips into one very full-day. She took us on the "Hidden Secrets of the Gothic Quarter" tour in the morning and the "Barcelona Modernism Architecture & Gaudi Tour" in the afternoon.
