We were so blessed to have had Dana as our personal guide! Dana is passionate about Prague, and equally knowledgeable about the city to deliver an experience that far exceeded our expectations. My wife commented about how Dana was always smiling, and the stories and unique perspectives that only a true local would know kept us captivated for the entire 3+ hours that seemed to fly by. My favorites were the the flood prevention wall markers along the river, and the poignant square street plaques noting the homes of Czech holocaust victims. Dana was the absolute perfect person to introduce us to Prague. We spent a wonderful 3 hours plus with Dana and even though we covered most of the top 10 tourist spots that wasnt the main focus of the tour. We captured the main sites whilst being treated to a behind the scenes locals view of this wonderful city. Dana is highly knowledgeable and passionate about about her city. We took a city tour with Dana last month (sorry for the delayed review). Dana was a fabulous guide, well organized, knowledgeable and a great communicator all along the process. We had we reached out for info before booking and she was very helpful and responsive. On the tour, she took us off the tourist path up to the Prague castle and showed us many of the beautiful sights of Prague. Her tour shows you spots and vantage points that you would not easily find as a tourist (if at all). And, she recommended an amazing restaurant for lunch after the tour! Non touristy great intro tour of Prague with Dana!!

Dana was a pleasure to spend the day with. She listened to our interests, and brought us through Prague as only a local can. We went down side streets as she pointed out uniques spots we would have never seen without her - the smallest house, the narrowest stairway (it has a traffic light), bakeries, shops and restaurants. We took her recommendation on Michelin rated Degustation, and had one of the best meals we have ever had. She also gave us recommendations on more local/casual spots which were amazing. She takes a lot of pride in her city and country, and was happy to share her knowledge with us. We made her wait a few minutes as we were late getting up our first morning - but she more than accommodated - providing a fun, spirited, and very interesting tour of Prague's beautiful highlights. She helped us avoid the most "touristy" places and showed us some of the hidden gems of the city. The highlight, was her insightful trip to the Castle, taking us "off the beaten path" through the artsy sections of town and arriving at the gates of the Palace. At the end of the tour, she was kind enough to give some great restaurant recommendations that we used for the rest of the weekend. Dana was fantastic!

We took a tour with Dana on 22 March 2019 and it was amazing and fun. We went to places that less tourists, had a cup of coffee at the local pretty coffee house, narrow streets, beautiful views of the lesser town, new town and old town. My recommendation for anyone traveling to the incredible city of Prague is, please set up a private tour with Dana. My husband and I visited Prague for the very first time and Dana was our guide. She is very professional but more importantly makes you feel very comfortable. My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Dana. She’s very energetic, personable, speaks outstanding English and knows so much about Prague. Her taking us through the side streets and less traveled tourist areas was really a treat. Dana lived in Canada for a year, with relatives who live there, and her various travels in the US, I think helped her relate well with us as Americans. Howere, I think she could relate well with anyone from other countries. She is patient and listens well. Very considerate and thoughtful. Having done a few of the 'tourist' walking tours, I am left in no doubt that Dana's tour was the best. I really enjoyed getting off the 'beaten tourist track' and seeing the everyday alleys and buildings of Prague. Of course, Dana covers some of the tourist areas and I learnt far more from her than I did when doing any of the other tours - perhaps this is because she held my attention due to her passion for this beautiful city. he tour with Dana was the highlight of our trip! It was only me and my boyfriend and our amazing tour guide Dana! It was as if we had our friend showing us around the city of Prague, so personal. I don't just recommend this tour, YOU HAVE TO DO IT during your visit! It makes a world of a difference to have a personal tour versus those really large/tourist trap tours. You are taken away from crowded street areas to places with better views, walking paths like a local. Dana knows her history, really shows you the town off the beaten path, and even has a certification for giving tours! We were taken to a hidden and local, quaint coffee shop with tasty foods. First let me start out by saying I am a very particular seasoned traveler that likes to avoid large crowds and big tour groups. With that in mind, I saw this recommended tour “Prague Behind The Scenes Tour” and I had to book it. For the same price as one of the large walking tours typically with a non-native tour guide holding a flag or an umbrella forcing one to swim up sea like fish in the most crowded of tourist zones you will get an intimate group with Dana and this tour. It was great to be directed at our pace with a native Czech along hidden alleyways, pathways and streets. Along the tour we saw hidden gems, art, architecture and views that most people visiting Prague never see because they stick to the tourist routes. We really appreciated the political insight and history that was provided to us along our journey. We booked our tour for our first 24 hours in Prague to get the lay of the land and insight into the history and culture of Prague. Dana took great care to answer all or questions no matter how silly or typically American they might have been. As a professional travel manager I can defiantly without a doubt recommend Dana and her product to family, friends and clients without hesitation. Dana's tour is really unique. Rather than focusing on the touristy spots, she deliberately avoids them and shows you sites you would otherwise never find on your own. She also shows you the hidden side of many spots, including the Castle area, and the German embassy (where the East Germans gathered en masse as the Berlin Wall was falling years ago). The tour includes a stop to eat and drink in a lovely spot frequented by locals, not tourists. Dana is young, enthusiastic, down to earth, extremely knowledgeable and fluent in English. She is also very warm and the entire experience felt like walking around Prague with my Czech friend. Our group came to Prague for the first time and we wanted a local guide who would tell us a little about this wonderful city... its history. Dana organized a 3 hour old town tour for us. Would definitely book another tour with Dana. We were a family group of 12. She held out interest with very informative bits of pieces of Pragues history. She kept us away from crowded streets but were still able to enjoy all the beautiful sites of the city. We made a few stops in local watering holes that weren't touristy. There were a total of 11 people on Dana's tour. We all really enjoyed the day. She was very well prepared and informative. Anytime we had a question she was happy to stop and discuss. I would qualify this walk as exceptional and magic. Relaxed, informative, well organised, and in no way hurried to meat hours you obviously must respect. We booked Prague in a Less Touristy Way with Dana a month or two before our trip. Dana was very helpful answering our questions as we were preparing for the trip and offered some practical information. Our tour was delightful! Dana knows the city very well and was great about telling us things that guide books wouldn't cover, plus we took paths that were out of the main touristy areas, avoiding crowds. Dana has volunteered to help at a Ukraine relief center, so we asked what would be the best way we could help. After our tour, she took us to buy supplies and take them to the center. We had wondered how we'd be able to help, so were very happy that she'd made that possible - plus we got to use the public transportation which introduced us to another facet of the city.
