Martin hat zuerst ein paar freundliche Fragen gestellt. Das war gut zum Warmwerden und um zu schauen, was für uns von besonderem Interesse ist. Wir hatten eine schöne Führung, die uns für die Kürze der Zeit dank Martin immerhin doch einen kleinen Einblick in die Geschichte Brügges verschaffte. Wir haben einen tollen Rundumblick von Brügge bekommen. Ich hatte den Spaziergang für meinen Mann gebucht ( Geburtstag). Schon vorher hat Ann gefragt, ob wir Tipps benötigen. Sie hat uns ganz tolle Tipps für Restaurants/ Schokolade/ Bierkneipen und Shopping gegeben. Pünktlich gings los. Ann hat ihr Wissen angenehm weitergegeben viele Fragen beantwortet. Jay was a great guide for me. I wanted to see what a local felt were the best things about Brugge. Jay was born and raised there so not only did he show me incredible sights of the area, he seems to know everyone! I wanted to get a piece of jewelry from a local artist and Jay had friends with a shop. I bought a one of a kind ring and it's a treasured keepsake. Jay goes above and beyond for his guests, shares the history of the beautiful city and shows areas that you might miss with other guides. He walks fast so have your walking shoes on but he also stopped for every picture I wanted to take so just let him know what you want to do. Great guide and a new friend. Brugge with Jay is a must!

Met Ann at the agreed time and she kindly gave us some lovely Belgian chocolates. Gave us a very informative tour of the “Venice of the North” which was great preparation for our own discovery once the tour was completed. Highly recommend Ann as a guide. Ann ist ein erfahrener Guide. Allerdings wirkte sie etwas unnahbar was man auch als unfreundlich interpretieren könnte. Wir waren eine Familie mit zwei Kindern. Sie hätte etwas mehr auf familienfreundliche Themen eingehen können und bunter, engagierter erzählen können. Nachfragen wurden nur zum Teil und manchmal etwas genervt beantwortet. Alles in allem ok, aber ich würde diese Tour nicht weiter empfehlen.Ok, hätte aber besser sein können

We were sailing to Bruges and our cruise ship changed our time in port. I messaged Jay and he messaged back right away, telling us to not worry about it and he would adjust our meeting time. Jay waited for us and we headed straight into the crowd. We got a brief overview of the hot spots so that we were well oriented. Great was a stopp at the waffle shop. Y'all. Book this tour immediately. Our tour guide Patrick absolutely made our entire vacation. We went to Bruges not expecting much, to be honest. It was supposed to be a quick over-nighter between Brussels and Amsterdam, I signed us up for this tour just to kill some time. We booked 5 private tours over the course of our vacation and this one was our very favorite. It was fun to see this sweet little town through the eyes of a local. Patrick's passion for his hometown made me fall in love with Bruges. From the churches to the canals to the courtyards to the museums ... Bruges has so much more to offer than just a Belfry! Patrick was friendly, thoughtful in his approach, energetic and enjoyable. Who knew there was so much to see, learn and do in a town only 6 miles big?! Patrick, that's who! If you do one thing when you're in Bruges, make it this tour. Seriously. (And make sure you book an extra day in your hotel... you're going to need it after spending some time with Patrick!!)Best Tour of the Trip
