My husband and I had a marvelous time touring the Oaurzazate region of Morocco with Omar. He speaks perfect English and he is an entertainer. Lots of stories and other information to share with us. Omar had a very comfortable car and he is a safe driver. He is very thoughtful and helped continue our vacation by recommending an excellent restaurant and arranging a car for our return. Traveling with Brahim to the Atlas Mountains was an unforgettable experience and a fascinating travel. We discovered the magic of the Berber culture and the beauty of the Atlas landscapes. Brahim has a wonderful human quality. As a Berber, he’s a perfect example of kindness, generosity, simplicity and joy of life. He constantly payed attention to our confort and wellbeing, and he adapted to our preferences completely. He speaks several languages including Spanish and is a great photographer! His colleague and driver was the perfect companion, we liked him very much too. We forgot our glasses in the car and Brahim came back to our hotel in person to give them to us. I’d highly recommend Elhoussaine’s tour - and I just wish we’d booked it for the first day of our holiday as it was the perfect way to discover hidden bits of the old town. Elhoussaine took us to see the local areas beyond the obvious tourist streets. We tried food we wouldn’t have been brave enough to taste (sheep’s head etc) on our own, and ventured into cafes we’d just have walked past. We loved it all. But even more than the food we enjoyed an adventure with a charming, friendly, interesting guide. Elhoussaine shared personal stories and facts about Morocco and its people, history and culture as we walked. He was so kind in bringing a gluten free pancake for my husband so he didn’t miss out on anything, and he made sure we were all happy and engaged throughout. A very memorable and enjoyable few hours. We had a wonderful day out with Omar to the Atlas Mountains - 2 adults and a 15 year old. From when Omar picked us up at our Riad, he was friendly and gave us lots of insights into the areas we were in, and the way of life for people in the mountains. His driving was really good and we felt safe at all times. The walk to the waterfalls was great and our guide for this, Sadiq, was lovely and made sure we were safe when crossing the rockier parts. We felt very privileged to be taken to a family’s home to see how they live and to have tea, while Omar explained more about the Berber way of life. We were also very lucky to have booked our trip on the day the Berber weekly market was held, which Omar very kindly took us to; we were the only tourists there. As an extra request for our day, Omar arranged a camel ride for us, which was good fun! I would highly recommend a trip with Omar. We all had a very enjoyable and very memorable day. A Magical Day Trip to the Atlas Mountains with Brahim! We booked the Day Trip from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains with Ibrahim, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our entire stay in Morocco. The perfect contrast to the vibrant energy of Marrakech – peaceful, scenic, and deeply authentic. Brahim picked us up in the morning, and from the very first moment, we felt in good hands. He’s not only an excellent driver but also a wonderful storyteller. During the drive, we listened to Moroccan music, chatted about the region, and enjoyed his stories that brought the surroundings to life. We took the trip with our two children, aged 8 and 11, and they connected with Brahim right away. He was incredibly kind and attentive to them, always making sure they were comfortable, entertained, and enjoying every part of the experience. To break up the drive, we stopped several times – for a delicious tasting of argan oil paired with mint tea and local products, and for a visit to an authentic market in Asni. That market was unlike anything we’ve seen before – bustling, raw, and full of life. The kids were fascinated by the variety of goods and the local atmosphere. Once we reached the mountains, we set off on a scenic trek. It lasted about an hour and a half, but time flew by with all the stops for photos, stories, snacks, and breathtaking views. It was active, fun, and suitable even for our youngest. The highlight, however, was visiting the village where Ibrahim grew up. There, we enjoyed the most delicious and authentic lunch on a rooftop terrace – traditional tanjia, fresh bread, Moroccan tea – all while gazing out over the majestic Atlas Mountains. It was peaceful, beautiful, and felt like a true cultural exchange. Ibrahim knows the area inside out, and thanks to his calm, warm, and knowledgeable presence, we felt relaxed and truly immersed in the day. We’re so thankful for this experience – it was more than a tour, it was a meaningful connection with a very special place and person.Family-Friendly and Full of Heart

The tour was very good, but Hassan was an hour and 15 minutes late, so we didn’t have a very good start. He took us to some interesting places and provided some good information. We had an fantastic three-hour city tour through Marrakesh in the evening. Our guide led us through the lively streets, hidden alleys, bustling souks, and vibrant market squares of the city. Along the way, we sampled a wide variety of local foods — everything from street snacks to traditional dishes — and received fascinating explanations about each one. What made the experience truly special was how connected our guide was with the people and places around us. It felt like he knew everyone in the city! We got to meet locals, learn about the culture firsthand, and really dive into the heart of Marrakesh. By the end of the evening, we were absolutely full — we kept eating because everything was so delicious! What can I say? 10/10 experience. Omar is not only savvy and knowledgable about the local food in Marrakesh, he also navigates the city like he designed it. I wish I could remember the names of the street food we tried during the tour but I'll leave that to you to find out. Top tip: A dried fish sandwich with all sorts of extras and sauces on top. I melted and went to food heaven. Omar also taught us a lot about conventions and traditions in Morocco, which we found not only interesting but also helpful. His English is impeccable, I think he's some sort of secret language wizzard. Anyways - book him, you won't regret it. I will keep his contact so next time we can do another one of the tours together. Fantastic food tour!

Our family of four really enjoyed our tour with Brahim and Mohammed. They were both very friendly and answered all the many questions our children asked. The tour started with Brahim picking us up at our Riad in Marrakech and driving us up into the mountains. We stopped at a Women's Coop to see how Argan oil is made, and purchased some Argan products. Next stop was in the town of Imil to start the amazing hike through multiple villages. Mohammed took us to a rug shop in a very small village, over to a stunning waterfall, and to our lunch stop. The food was delicious and more than we could finish. The views and experience were a very welcome refreshment from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. We cannot recommend this trip more highly. We really enjoyed our 5 tastings evening with Omar. He is an easy going, charming young man who we liked a lot! And his English is so good! We also liked that he took us tasting stuff that wasn't obvious and really enjoyed his selection and advise. For our teenage son it was also fun with a guide that was a bit closer in age than his parents. Omar could not make our booking and sent Rachid instead. Unfortunately Rachid’s driving was not relaxing at all as he felt the need to drive right up to the back of every car in front of us, and overtake when questionable space. The walk and lunch in the mountains with Omar the guide was excellent and so we thoroughly enjoyed being in the Atlas Mountains. I would recommend the trip but cannot comment on Omar. We had a wonderful introduction to Marrakech with Omar. He's very kind, knowledgeable, and happily answered all of our questions. He was wonderful with our 10 year old and made sure she was also enjoying the experience and learning things. His tour is a really good mix of making sure we saw the things that "tourists should see" as well as taking us off the beaten path. We saw areas of the Medina that we never would have found on our own (and probably couldn't find again if we tried!) What a great experience we had with Hassan today! My husband and I enjoyed a very authentic tour of the Medina that allowed us to see a ‘local’ perspective that we would never have seen on our own. This private experience is well worth the money - Hassan is incredibly generous with his knowledge and with his showcasing of the local cultures within the Medina. While we went to many local artisan shops where we could purchase goods, we never felt any pressure to do so. However many of the shops were in support of local co-operatives; so while similar goods could be found in the ‘tourist’ souks, the quality and craftsmanship of the local artisans was readily apparent. Highly recommend Hassan for his knowledge, style of guiding, and his warm and friendly attitude. Excellent local experience
