We were five women, 4 who had never been to Iceland. Lalli was just awesome. We enjoyed every story and history lesson he told us. He took us to some really beautiful and interesting places. We especially loved the sculpture garden. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Iceland and his story telling kept us captivated. This driver really warms me up! From the moment he got in the car, he greeted us with particular enthusiasm, offered to chat and greet us, and intimately asked me if the temperature inside was right. The driving was particularly steady, it made people feel safe, and I was reminded of the beauty along the way, as kind and natural as an old friend. The room was clean and tidy, there was no smell, even the details were well taken care of. Being particularly familiar with the route not only didn't take a detour, it saved me a lot of time. The wife & I had the best time with the likely happiest guide in Iceland! Iceland may be gray, rainy and cold but SAID was warm, knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining! We had the best day (we were here for 4) with SAID - he selected the route, sights, timing & dining and we just relaxed and had fun. We didn't stop talking, smiling & laughing the full day. We were looking for a food tour with unique local delicacies and we found it! We tasted delicious cod stew and soup with lamb. And Natalia also challenged us by offering to eat the local treat Hákarl, fermented shark. Quite an experience :) Together with the other tasting we had more than a full diner. Next to this we had a lovely strawl through town and Natalia told us all about local culture and the history of Iceland. Also she gave us great tips for the rest of our stay. I highly recommend Said and the Ober company. Said went over and above our expectations. He was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, helpful, and trustworthy. Our first encounter was at the port, and we rode in his taxi to our Air B&B in Reykjavik. He played a guessing game; he was so surprised my friend guessed correctly. Because of the correct guess, he gave us a discount card to use for a future taxi booking. When we arrived at our destination, he was not able to pull up to the entrance; he parked and carried all our luggage into the building for us with a smile. We were impressed, appreciative, and happy. When we inquired if we could have him as our taxi driver to take us to the airport in three days, he said yes. Said made it so easy, gave us his card and at least four different contact options. We could call or text by our phone or call and text by What’s App. Said answered immediately when we called him to schedule the time of our pickup and arrived promptly. Said greeted us with a smile and again carried our luggage to the car. He pointed out the points of interest and answered our questions about the sights and Iceland in general. I absolutely plan on booking my taxi and sightseeing trips with Said on my future Iceland trips!!Outstanding, friendly, courteous and fun Ober Taxi Service!!

She met us at our hotel, which we greatly appreciate. She rearranged the path of the tour to start at our location! Her English is exquisite so we were able to understand all of the interesting historical stories, which she told very well. She introduced us to Iceland’s history with enthusiasm and humor. There’s no words to compare the stunning sceneries we’ve seen but we would never have this amazing and more private experience if we didn’t have Sultan as our guide. He’s simply the best! His priority is us (his clients) and he’s very thoughtful and always thinks ways so we can have the best time ever.. and we did! . We did the Golden Circle and the South Coast Tour and everything was just so convenient! He picks us up and drops us off from and to our accommodation every day. He knows when’s the best time to go to places when there’s not much people or tour buses around so we can have better photos. He even made an extra effort and took us to a place that is not part of the usual South Coast Tour and boy, the view there was breathtaking!! Our Tour Guide Sultan was AMAZING! Our travel agent at godiplomat.com in Chicago, IL, originally arranged a private tour for the Southern Coast with Sultan for four of us. We were having such a great time that during the tour, we all decided to extend our Southern Coast Tour by adding the Golden Circle that Sultan was only too happy to accommodate, literally at the last minute. While my husband and I had previously toured Iceland in 2016 for 12 days, our friends had never been there. Sultan showed us sights we had seen before but also many others that only someone who lives there would know about. He was FANTASTIC! Sultan greeted us the previous day via WhatsApp in Reykjavik, Iceland, to make sure we knew where and when to meet him for the following day in his comfortable, new touring SUV that was impeccably clean. He had water and delicious snacks available that kept us satiated throughout the day tour that started at 9 AM and finished at 9 PM! One of our friends is an enthusiastic amateur photographer. He had brought two new cameras with all its high-tech lenses, hoping we would see puffins to photograph. Sultan did not disappoint him, who himself is a professional photographer! We went on a private tour with Sultan as our guide. We are a family of 5, with 3 kids (3,8,11). Sultan was AMAZING. He made us feel very relaxed, safe and happy. His vehicle was clean, comfortable and warm. We had WiFi and USB cables and chargers in the vehicle as well. We did not feel rushed and he was extremely patient with the kids. I would definitely recommend him for anyone with or without kids. We had enough toilet breaks and the trip was very enjoyable. He also took beautiful pictures of our family and we really appreciate this. His photography skills were amazing. Always a challenge to get good pictures, but he made it so effortless. Sultan is a very friendly, professional and knowledgeable guide and went out of his way to ensure we had the best time on our trip to Iceland. Very comfortable 7 seat car (there were only 4 of us). Sultan was always punctual and also he made extra/additional stops if we wanted and there were no time constraints at each location, which you don't get with a big tour group. Just returned home from a wonderful trip. With a group of 8, it was difficult to decide on renting cars or to book excursions/transfers with a company. Even though we are all experienced winter drivers, we felt the drivers would not be able to relax and enjoy the sights as much. After reading so many positive reviews from Iceland Paradise Tours , we took the chance on turning our trip over to Sultan Mahmoud. We gave him a few ideas and he turned it into a fantastic itinerary. It was a great mix of scheduled tours and free time. Day 1 included airport pick up and drop off to our accommodation. That evening was a successful Northern lights tour with professional photographs and hot chocolate and some Icelandic treats. He knew the spots to go for the best chance of seeing the lights. Having a smaller vehicle also allowed for easier access to remote viewing areas. And if we hadn’t seen them that first night we arrived, we would have kept trying every night of our trip. On the way back to Reykjavik, the lights started dancing again and Sultan immediately pulled over for us to have another view and photo opportunity. Within 20 mins of being dropped off at our apartment, Sultan had sent us all the pictures he had taken that evening. This was only day 1 and we were beyond happy with our choice to book with Iceland Paradise tours. Day 2 we did the Golden Circle tour including a stop at Laxnes Horse Farm for a 2 hour ride. Day 3 was a day of much needed rest and to explore Reykjavik on our own. Day 4 included the South Coast tour with a few special surprises for us. Day 5 we had our morning free and went to Hvammsvik Hot Springs in the late afternoon. Day 6 was return transfers to the airport. We had door to door service in a comfortable van with plenty of room for luggage on airport transfers or room to bring a change of clothing or rain pants to take on/off at certain stops. Sultan knew the history of each area we visited and also the expertise of knowing which order for the stops to avoid major crowds for better picture opportunities. We never felt rushed at any sight and really enjoyed Sultan’s commentary. We never felt bombarded with constant narration or that our space was being intruded. It was a great mix of having a private guide/driver and also our own space. And most importantly, knowing we could stop when needed for restroom breaks!! We had compared the options of booking all individual transfers/tours and for the small price difference we decided to go with something more personal and convenient. There was no stress of finding meeting points or bus transfer locations each day. We were met at the front door of our accommodation and we didn’t have to think any further. Just sit back relax and enjoy. I only needed a camera at every stop as our all inclusive price included all entry fees. No worrying about standing in line or pre-booking activities. Sultan took care of everything. I highly recommend him if you want a small tour all inclusive experience. All I had to do was book flights and our accommodation. Sultan took care of the rest. I only had to budget for meals and souvenirs. I highly recommend Sultan and Iceland Paradise Tours. Initial contact was by email and then further calls and texts on WhatsApp. I never waited long for a reply. Even on our free days Sultan reached out to check in or to give us suggestions or tell us about possible Northern lights sightings from the harbor. We had such an amazing stress-free trip, thanks to Sultan. Every day I said this was my favorite day until the next day came 🤣. Looking forward to returning to Iceland All Inclusive ! Apr 2023 • Couples For our 5th year wedding anniversary, we decided to book a 2-day private tour with Iceland Paradise Tours, and for two people who value excellent, personalized service and really hate crowds, it really made a big difference. Our guide, Sultan, who is also the owner of this company, was very professional, flexible, hardworking, and knowledgeable about Iceland. It was easy to coordinate and plan with him beforehand, and he gave a very fair price for a customized, private trip to the Southern Coast, with flexibility to also visit the Golden Circle as we wished. The vehicle he used for the trip, a Range Rover, was spacious enough for our needs and he had Wi-Fi in the car. It was also well-equipped to handle the changing climate of Iceland, including a sudden snow storm in spring! The service was quite exceptional. We gave him a rough idea of how we wanted our trip to go, and he accommodated all our requests and changes graciously. He was upfront and gave very practical advice about the sites we wanted to see—for example, whether it makes sense to go to a place or not, given the conditions. He also instinctively understood what we needed and adjusted accordingly—whether it was to talk, give us privacy, let us sleep, avoid a lot of tourists, take great photos, prioritize certain activities, etc. My husband normally cannot sleep in cars but he managed to do so in this trip—which is a testament to Sultan’s smooth driving. One can really see how much he genuinely loves Iceland, his home for the last 6 years. I had done a lot of research on the different tour packages in Iceland, but was pleasantly surprised to receive suggestions on places that were normally not included in the tours. He showed us places that he truly loved and felt that we would really enjoy. We also had very interesting conversations and we gained insights about the country and people. Sultan tailor made the tour to what we wanted to see while of course offering his professional opinion of where to go. We had such a fantastic day that we booked another tour with him for our last day in Iceland. We saw many beautiful sights, he found my dad’s barracks from when he was in the Navy in the 60’s and also brought us to a store in Keflavik that sold authentic Icelandic sweaters. Sultan takes pride in making your tour exactly what you want it to be and I would highly recommend this company! I only wish we had booked him for the Northern lights. He was already booked and his group saw the lights. We went with large bus group and although the conditions were good we did not see anything. Next time I will definitely make sure that I am with Iceland Paradise Tours! Bonus- he even takes group shots so everyone can be in the photos! Nostalgic Tour With Sultan

We thoroughly enjoyed Natalia’s 3 hour walking tour from Hallgrimskirkja church, through town, to the port and into the beautiful symphony hall. Natalia cheerfully shared history, stories, and stats of the places we visited as well as Reykjavik and Iceland. She also gave us restaurant recommendations and tips for visiting attractions on our own. An unexpected surprise was the popular lamb hot dogs for lunch! Natalia did a great job!
