Sena is a very sweet and knowledgeable tour guide. I am so glad that I booked the sushi and sake tour for me and my husband since we’re only in Tokyo for 2 days. The gyoza, sushi and sake were all delicious and worth it. We asked her for souvenirs and wagyu beef recommendations and she provided us with great ones. The tour was 2.5 hours and we learned a lot from her. I am definitely recommending her to all my friends and family who will be visiting Tokyo. Carlos was an excellent guide taking us to a great traditional sushi place as well as having us taste many different varieties of sake. He also added some extra stops in our tour when we showed interest in seeing a rooftop garden or an amazing view of Shibuya crossing. He made sure to accommodate our food restrictions. We fully enjoyed walking around the main streets and of highlights of Shibuya with Sena. The area is vibrant and crowded, Sena guided us to the most iconic spots like the Shibuya crossing, we saw it from above and did the crossing in person. We visited some nice comercial areas all reachable from the train station underground. We walked around the old streets were authentic small food booths are located. We went sake tasting. Sena kindly recommended and drop us to an excellent restaurant that served great sushi. We highly recommend Sena.Visting Shibuya

Sena was a delight to be with and walk the streets of the Kichijoji sector of Tokyo. The hustle and bustle as the evening progressed was magical. The food stops were perfect but truth be told we were full after the first three stops. Here's a tip, skip lunch before embarking. We found a way to fight through it and were rewarded at the end with dessert - with fish shaped, cream filled pancakes. As none of us spoke Japanese, Sena's English was flawless and only surpassed by her energy and willingness to satisfy our curiosity and answer all of our questions. She even humored us with a beer run to a local market/convenience store which he drank al fresco at a local park under cover of night. It was my first experience hiring a local guide through With Locals and it was the best welcome we could have hoped for to see Tokyo for the first time. We were a group of 7 friends, gentlemen and ladies and we all had a fantastic time, thanks to Sena. Arigato!A delightful walk.

My wife, son, and I recently visited Japan for the first time. It was exciting, and potentially a bit overwhelming! I've used withlocals on other trips and fortunately came across Sena as we looked into hiring a guide to show us around Shibuya. It ended up becoming one of the highlights of the trip! Sena reached out to us before we arrived, and graciously came up with a nice itinerary tailored to what my wife and 13 yo son were interested in. She made us feel very comfortable, and we had a nice, authentic few hours with her. The time flew by, and when it was over we realized we should have booked her for a second outing! Oh well, next time. Sometimes when you are tourists in a new place, hiring a guide sounds good, but sometimes there is an awkwardness having a stranger showing you around. Definitely not the case with Sena. There was no language barrier, and she gave my wife some great suggestions for her specific shopping goals. We had a wonderful time with Sena! She speaks English very well and did a great job answering our questions and explaining the food and culture of Japan. We took the tour before heading to the airport and had all of our luggage with us. Sena helped us find nearby storage for our luggage as well as navigate the trading routes back to the airport after the tour. None of that was part of the tour but Sena was so kind and helpful. The food tour itself was awesome. Pace yourself! There are so many foods to try! Sena did a great job of introducing us to a wide range of interesting and delicious foods. Sena was an absolute pleasure to wander Shibuya with and we hit all the key places - Shibuya Crossing, Meiji shrine, Yoyogi Park, and Harajuku. What my friend and I loved most was that she took us to viewing areas that only the locals would know about, so we were able to show our other friends when they arrived later. We had a great afternoon with Sena exploring Shibuya. It was the perfect way to get acquainted with the city on our first day in Tokyo. In addition to showing us around, Sena helped us use the subway and gave us great suggestions (things to see and places to eat and shop) for the rest of our trip.
