Roberto accommodated us 2 days after our originally scheduled tour, as we arrived a day later than expected. The tour he provided was interesting, but could probably be completed in 2 hours. Roberto is an intelligent person who does have a working knowledge of several languages, but I would not say that most English speakers would be able to absorb all of what he says during a tour. We certainly liked learning about his native city and enjoyed his sense of humor too. The only reason we are providing this level of detail is because the cost of the tour was considerable and we would have appreciated knowing exactly what the pluses and minuses might have e been. We truly appreciated Robeto’s flexibilty.

My wife and I, along with our two teenage children, recently did the San Marco tour with Roberto. Right away it was clear that Roberto was born and raised in Venice, with a passion for every corner of the city, and all the history and stories that contribute to making Venice what it is today! Unfortunately, our family tour was canceled by Roberto because we ran ‘late’. Granted it was a family tour as scheduled and one of the children had a slight emergency which is why we ran late. Not enough that we stayed in touch with Roberto and let him know we were running late, not enough that there was about an hour and a half left in our planned tour, our host just cancelled without any recourse. Not only we didn’t get reimbursed but now going back and forth with the company trying to justify our request for reimbursement. It’s a bad incentive for the host to be able to get paid without delivering any service due to the client being late. Unacceptable!No integrity and no service

After two other guides had to cancel with us, we were assigned to be with Roberto. We are so happy that he ended up being our guide! He had so much to tell us about Venice and we loved his stories! Roberto hat mit uns eine ganz individuelle Tour gemacht. Als Familie hatten wir von 19 bis 85 Jahren alle Altersklassen dabei. Jeder kam auf seine Kosten und wir haben viel erfahren! Von den Zisternen über die Bedeutung der 4 Pferde auf dem Markusdom bis hin zur Info, warum ein Venezianer niemals zwischen den beiden Säulen am Markusplatz durchgehen würde. Es war wirkliche eine besondere Führung! Klare Empfehlung! Ein tolles Erlebnis!

Roberto hat uns, ohne sich uns vorzustellen gesagt, dass er diese Touren nicht mehr machen will, weil die Touristen so anspruchsvoll sind und immer irgendetwas nicht essen wollen. Er war von Anfang an unfreundlich und hat offensichtlich keinerlei Spaß daran, seinen Gästen die Stadt zu zeigen. Das erste Essen war so extrem fettig, dass 2 aus unserer Gruppe schlecht wurde. Das 2. Essen waren 3 verschiedene Sorten Stockfisch, die sowohl extrem rochen als auch schmeckten, so dass einer weiteren Person schlecht wurde und wir das meiste stehenlassen mussten. Zum Schluss bekamen wir dann Schinkenbrote und danach sollten wir trotz der Kälte nich ein Eis essen. Das einzig gute waren die Getränke. Roberto hat sich nur widerwillig mit uns unterhalten und uns nur wenig über sie Stadt erzählt. Für 499€ war das eine absolute Frechheit. Leider eine komplette Enttäuschung

Hallo, sehr lange habe ich überlegt, ob ich eine Bewertung schreiben soll. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von unserer Tour. An diesem Tag hatte mein Mann seinen 60. Geburtstag und ich habe ihm diese Tour geschenkt. Wir haben uns sehr auf die 10 Köstlichkeiten gefreut. Wir waren allerdings nur in drei Lokalen und haben dort auf drei Tellern gerade die 10 Köstlichkeiten gehabt. Zum Abschluss gab es ein Eis auf die Hand, wobei die Eisdiese geschlossen war und der Pizzabäcker nebenan uns das Eis gemacht hatten. Es gab eine Kugel, die wir uns anhand von Kärtchen aussuchen konnten? Diese Tour war auf gar keinen Fall die knapp 160 € Wert, die ich pro Person bezahlt habe. Ich würde diese Tour nie wieder buchen und kann Sie leider auch nicht weiterempfehlen. Eigentlich müsste icn einen Teil meines Geldes wiederbekommen. Es tut mir sehr leid, dass ich keine positive Rezension schreiben kann. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht :(.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, eine dreistündige Führung durch Venedig mit Roberto zu erleben. Es war wirklich beeindruckend und informativ zugleich. My family of 4 kids (6-12yrs) hubby and I did not know what to expect. This was our first time using this app and paying up front for someone and something we knew little about, it felt like a risk. You know when they say it's worth the risk? Well it absolutely was! Roberto was like a walking google, able to answer every question we threw at him, but even better than that, he was full of unique and special stories from the past, things you would not look up because you wouldn't even know they exist and that are not in your average travel guide. From special engravings and famous doorbells to well filtration systems and original buildings, our walk was one that we will never forget and the kids still talk about all the time. This is the ONLY way to truly get to know Venice. Roberto creates a living history experience, recreating with his facts and stories a feeling as if you were there at that time. There is no way you could learn this much on your own, without someone who has lived and breathed Venice like Roberto has. We are so so so thankful we has the opportunity to meet him and spend the time we did in his care. As for recommendations, Roberto connected us to a mask maker and we went on to do the most fabulous mask making. Traditional methods and passionate local teachers made this extra special. Also thanks to Roberto, we had the privilege of making glass jewelry and keychains with a fabulous family run little workshop on Murano. From historical facts, personal accounts, recommendations and personality, we highly recommend booking Roberto for your visit. We did this first on our trip and it is a fantastic introduction. Had we been there longer we would have booked him again for a Part 2,3,4..! Roberto tailors the walk and talks to your needs, gauges the interests of your group and pitches it accordingly. With a range of ages he still managed to capture the imagination of all of us and inspire us with his knowledge. A simply outstanding experience and a must do. My husband and I took the 10 Tastings of Venice tour with Roberto 2 weeks ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were only in Venice a couple of days, and hoped this would be a good way to get both some history/local knowledge of the city and also to taste a lot of the different types of cicchetti. We stopped at four different shops for food and drinks, plus a gelateria for a sweet finish. It was definitely enough food that we didn't feel much of a need for dinner afterwards! In between stops, Roberto shared bits of Venetian history and pointed out some significant and interesting buildings that we wouldn't have learned anything about just by walking around on our own. This was our first time booking a guide through this site, and I think we would definitely consider doing it in the future when we visit new cities. All the cicchetti!

Die von Roberto geleitete Tour hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Er hat uns wirklich "hidden gems" gezeigt, bis hin zu seinem früheren Kindergarten und Lyzeum. Auf besonseren Wunsch zeigte er uns sogar die Kulisse für die Questura, in der Commissario Brunetti agierte, auch wenn Donna Leon bei den Venezianern nicht so beliebt ist wie in Deutschland. Wir erfuhren sehr viel Interessantes zur Geschichte der Stadt, aber auch aus dem Alltagsleben der Venezianer mit all seinen Problemen durch den Tourismus. Insgesamt eine wertevolle Tour über 3 Stunden, zum Schluss alle etwas ermattet. Der Preis dafür war allerdings für unsere kleine Gruppe von 4 Leuten schon heftig.Abseits der großen Touristenströme

Der Trip nach Murano und Burano war ein entspannter Tagesausflug. In Murano haben wir einen Einblick in die hohe Glasbläserkunst erhalten. Die anschließende Führung durch die Kunstsammlung der Glasbläserei war sehr interessant doch etwas zu sehr auf einen möglichen Kauf ausgerichtet (hochpreisige Kunstwerke) und dennoch sehr informativ. Leider haben wir vom Ort Murano nicht viel gesehen, da es dann gleich in das beschauliche Burano weiterging. Eine Besichtigung lohnt sich. Die bunten Häuser und die beschauliche Stimmung lohnen sich.Murano und Burano erleben

Roberto war sehr lieb, obwohl wir erst mal am falschen Treffpunkt waren und somit später starten konnten. Wir haben viel von Venedig abseits der Touristenströme gesehen und viele Geschichten, auch über den Wandel der Stadt gehört. Es war also ein tolles Erlebnis, vor allem für mich. Die Tour war allerdings als Kindertour ausgeschrieben. Hier konnte ich keine spezielle Herangehensweise für Kinder feststellen, somit waren die 2 Stunden für die Kinder (zumindest für unsere 😉) eig. zu lange. Toller Spaziergang durch Venedig

Er geht auf jede Frage ein, weiß sehr viel über die Stadt Venedig, ihre Eigenheiten, die Venezianer selbst und das in Verbindung mit einem kleinen Witz oder Anektode lässt die Zeit schnell vergehen. Die Tour war sehr schön und hat viel Geschichte gezeigt. Es war sehr schön und den Kindern (6/10) hat es ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Kurzweilig und authentisch. Sehr zu empfehlen!!! Schönes Venedig
