Great tour!! Cosmo was very nice and very informative about the Aberdeen and surrounding areas. I wanted to see more of the Aberdeen fishing village but unfortunately most of it is gone (most of the fisherman live on shore). It was still cool to see the village but don’t expect to see what you saw in the movies. However, the tour was still outstanding and I got to see a lot more than I thought. We saw south district where diplomats from other countries live. Almost the best beach in Hong Kong. Great temples too. Thank you very much! Aberdeen village

My 1st time in Hongkong and I tried to make the best out of it. Hiring Cosmo was one of the best decisions I made. He knows his hometown very well. I had fun to places he took me, from Aberdeen to Repulse Bay beach to Stanley Bay. We had dimsum in Aberdeen while we shared table with 2 local aunties. I enjoyed the experience so much. Cosmo was able to show us around Aberdeen, Rupulse Bay, and Stanley, which are outside of the hustle and bustle of the city. We learned a bit about life as a fisherman and experienced a local wet market and Dim Sum Lunch. We were able to walk along the beach, despite the rain, and visit the Stanley Market where we bought a few paintings to remember our trip. The area was beautiful and we wished we had enough time to return and take a swim at the beautiful beach! Interesting tour outside of Hong Kong

Cosmo is an Aberdeen local and his knowledge of the area is fantastic. His links to the fishing industry gave some great insights. The dim sum lunch was great. Travelling to other areas such as Repulse Bay and meant another side of Hong Kong was discovered. Cosmo was easygoing and helpful at the market. At the end of the tour Cosmo went out of his way to ensure l was able to find some art galleries and where the public transport was located. A great time was enjoyed.Excellent Tour

Cosmo was very accomodating, even meeting with us at where we stayed so we were sure to not get lost. Do yourself a favor and book the harbor tour with Cosmo! You’ll get to see a whole other side of Hong Kong and you’ll be in for a treat with all his wisdom. Cosmo was our fantastic guide for the HK Harbor Tour. While it would be possible to eventually string together all the stops as an independent traveller, it would have taken HOURS more on your own ... so Cosmo is the only way to go! In 4-5 hours, you see sides of Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau you'd never find on your own, as well as have an deelish dim sum lunch at Jumbo Floating Village (touristy, yes, but a MUST see in HK!), amble along the beautiful beach at Repulse Bay w/ice cream & poke around the cool, chill Stanley Market. He knows all the public transport angles so no guess work or wrong turns. His English is excellent & he's most happy to share many insights about life today in Hong Kong. How lucky are we to have had Cosmo as our tour guide. He was very gracious, easy going and knowledgeable. We loved seeing a different side of Hong Kong away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The little town he took us to, Repulse Bay, was lovely; from the beautiful beach to the beautiful mountains surrounding it. It, and Cosmo, had a very calming, relaxing atmosphere. We also loved the fishing village he took us to. It was interesting to see the contrast between the old and new; there were junk boats driving right alongside newer modern boats. We also loved the floating restaurant that he took us to. The food was great and the people couldn't have been nicer. We highly recommend this tour and definitely Cosmo as a guide. I am very happy to have booked the Aberdeen Floating Restaurant & Fisherman Cultural Tour with very friendly guide Cosmo. I had long lay over in Hong Kong of about 10h and wanted to have maximum taste of the city. From before there was good communication with Cosmo about wishes and planning and during the tour he took very good care of me and made sure to return in time to the airport. He showed me different aspects of the city, not only the hustle and bustle of the city but also some quiet areas like the beach at respulse bay of which many people don't know beach exists in Hong Kong. He guided me around while talking a lot about life and origins of HK. Also the lunch at the legendary Jumbo floating restaurant was nice and good experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable guide. So for me he deserves a 10 out of 10. Interesting tour & ecxcellent guide

I gave Cosmo 10/10 hearts on Aberdeen! A+ on pre-tour communication! A+ on coming to our hotel to pick us up, even tho it was not part of the tour! A- on communication (He's lived in Latin America so speaks Spanish. You can easily understand his English but sometimes he may not understand your question the first time so you need to rephrase it - That's totally okay with me)! A+ on sharing his passion for his local area in Aberdeen, Hong Kong He tailored our tour to what we wanted out of it but we chose more of the generic mixed with the hideaways and it was awesome! Cosmo was an excellent tour guide, he was very informative of local life and surroundings in Hong Kong. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience of walking the streets of Kowloon and trying local food tastings. Personal favourites were the coconut milk and baked cheesecake! We did the night market tour with Cosmo. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and his English was very good. He answered all my questions and even told us about his life and how he grew up in Hong Kong and where he’s traveled. We walked around the flower market, Ladies market and took the tram to the Temple Street night market. We sampled 4 street food items and 1 drink. We didn’t leave overly full which was ideal and we saw some areas we never knew existed. Cosmo even made sure our Uber picked us up before leaving us. We really enjoyed our walking tour with Cosmo. He took us around Central old Hong Kong and Soho district. Nice mix of culture and information. We visited the Man Mo temple and traditional markets as well as popping into new museums. Cosmo answered lots of our questions about getting around Hong Kong. We saw lots we would probably not have noticed in our own. Well worth doing on day 1 of your trip. Cosmo paced the walking well and we got breaks from the heat going into air con museums. Ich war alleine mit Cosmo auf Lantau Island unterwegs. Cosmo erzählte sehr viel über das Leben dort, den vertretenen Religionen und deren Tempel und deren Bedeutung. Dabei war immer sehr viel Zeit für Fotos. Ich muss aber auch dabei sagen, dass wir etwas Glück hatten und keine 30 Min. auf die Seilbahn gewartet haben, was nicht oft vorkommt je nach Tageszeit. Wer sich einen Tag Zeit nehmen möchte und mehr als nur das hektische Grossstadtleben Hongkongs erleben my, sollte unbedingt diese Tour buchen. My husband and I enjoyed our evening with Cosmo and experiencing the local food of Hong Kong. It was a little different than I expected as Hong Kong does not do street food as we had experienced in other cities like Bangkok or Singapore. Instead, Cosmo took us to several local restaurants where we experienced food as the locals would eat. Don't let his initial quiet demeanour fool you, he is a very interesting and talented guy who has adventurously travelled the world solo. It was interesting to learn about his family and see some of his art work. He also told us about the history of the Hong Kong as we travelled around (and took the tram) and it was great to have him talk about the street art as well. From the moment we started communicating with Cosmo we knew he was a "Local" and loved what he was doing. Meeting him in Lantau Island we started our journey on the cable car up to the Buddha. An amazing 25 minute ride in comfort up to the top of the mountain - wow Hong Kong looks amazing from there. Then a leisurely walk around the summit and into the beautiful temple and then up the 268 steps to the Buddha. What a great story of dedication and resilience in building this monument. We then boarded a bus and went into a little fishing village which was quaint and "set back in time". Going for a little boat ride around the waterways and then out to the sea looking at the amazing structure of the bridge (that goes underwater) and looking for dolphins. Back on land we stopped for looking around the village and having some lunch. After this heading back to the bus and down the hill, like a local, finishing back at our starting point. A full day of wonder and history. Cosmo is interesting and knows the history of the area. Thanks for a great day! Highly recommend.A fabulous day with Cosmo
