We would give this tour 11/10 if we could. It was the best tour either of us have ever done - it was like having your friend show you their home town. We saw so much and learnt a lot. The car was very comfortable for the drive to Malacca. Even though it was a 2 hour drive, the time flew. Akmal was very attentive, even paying for our toilet stops, and adapted the tour to suit us. Honestly, he is the most lovely and friendly tour guide we have struck. I can honestly not think of anything that would improve this tour, and highly recommend it to everyone! He even had an umbrella for shade for us and waited whilst we shopped for clothes. The lunch was out of this world and Akmal's suggestions were fantastic. We spent the whole day with a smile on our faces Best tour ever!

We normally go it alone but decided on this tour as we knew nothing about Malacca. Mohd was an excellent choice. His great sense of humour and local knowledge made it fun. It's nice hearing about growing up in the area and the changes that have occurred. Unlike some tours everything was included...including the fee for the toilet. Really nice not to have to think about anything. Many thanks we really enjoyed and would recommend to anyone. It was slightly more expensive than we would normally pay but was well worth it Great day tour

OMG Moohd was the best ever. There was four in our group, he greeted all of us at the airport my name. Communication was terrific, he stayed in touch all the time, was very punctual. He made time to take us to both palaces the morning we arrived. The next day was the tour of Malacca, tour was amazing, best tour I have ever taken. He was very informative and we had so much fun. We did so much in one day, highlights for me was everything but especially lunch that was included, very authentic Malay food, very delicious. Also a highlight was the real submarine that we saw and went inside. I would highly recommend Mohd if you go to KL. I loved every minute of the tour. My husband and I spent a great day with Akmal on our tour of Malacca. His communication beforehand was informative and prompt. His car was comfortable & clean. The 2 hour drive went by quickly as he provided information about the area and answered our questions. We covered a lot of ground on the tour and he came prepared with bottled water for whenever we wanted it and an umbrella to shade us as we walked. Lunch at a local restaurant was excellent. Akmal grew up in Malacca, so we enjoyed hearing stories about his childhood and family life and seeing where he grew up. We found Malacca to be a little treasure and wished we had planned a 1 or 2 night stay there. It was a pleasure to spend the day with Akmal and will keep his name handy for future tours. I was a bit apprehensive before the tour as I was travelling by myself, but after reading the many reviews I decided to go for it and I wasn't disappointed. From the nice messages before the trip to his intantly friendly manner my mind was put at ease. The 2 hour drive to malacca went quickly and by the time we arrived I felt like a friend was showing me round. Every stop was interesting and he constantly offered water and even held an umbrella to protect me from the sun. Highlight was definitely walking through cool Chinatown and praying in the floating mosque near the sea. If you want a friend to show you around malacca Akmal is your man.Best part of my KL visit

We booked Akmal for a 1 day tour of Malacca for myself and my mom. It was an amazing tour where Akmal showed us his in-depth knowledge of area while also being very friendly and energetic. He drove us around to the main sites in his comfy car while keeping a great pace through out the tour. For lunch, he helped find a nice cool spot while having some good food. At the end, he also gave us a pair of small KL souvenirs as a reminders of the tour. I would highly recommend him as a guide and I would definitely use him again when we come back to Malaysia!Amazing tour guide!

There is no rush when walking through jonker street, you could have a look at some of the shops, take your time to view the temples and churches. My husband and I spent a week in KL and booked Akmal for the Malacca tour. Even though the journey to and from Malacca was long it was a really nice journey in his air conditioned car and he spoke about all the sights we passed. In Malacca we visited a lot of museums, as well as some other sights and ended the day with a visit to the beach where we also had a delicious coconut shake! Akmal was very bubbly and smily throughout and made us feel really comfortable during the tour. It was like hanging out with a friend! Akmal's knowledge of KL is great, we learnt so much! The tour with Akmal was brilliant. He is a cool guy who knows a lot about the Kuala Lumpur and Malacca. He picked us up on time directly at the hotel. The 2 hour drive to Malacca felt short, and entertaining as Akmal told us a lot about Malayian culture and how it is to live in KL and Malaysia in general. In Malacca we went to a pirate boat where we got a short tour from Akmal with a perfect balance of history and the speed going through the museum. Afterwards we went into the town center and had a look around before we went for lunch in a Malaysian place. After a delicious dessert we went into the backstreets of Malacca and visited the various temples before we made our way up the hill to get a beautiful view over the town. Visiting the secret gardens of the sultan's palace was a highlight. Going over a local market Akmal was super helpful finding some nice local sweets to take home. The choice of the boat tour was perfect to see all of Malacca from the river, it is a trully beautiful town. As the evening approached we made our way to the beach with a stop at the submarine museum, cool museum. Akmal found again a good mixture between history and not letting it become boring, really enjoyed the museum. Akmal saved the absolute highlight to the end of his trip to go to a local food stand to have a cocunut shake and grilled fish, this was absolutely amazing and a place only a local can show you, thanks for this Akmal! The way home was very smooth and good fun in the car. Akmal is a superb guide, I can only recommend a tour with him! Thanks for this amazing day!Awesome day trip with Akmal

During a cruse trip in asia we booked an individual 6 Hours trip with the withlocals agency. We were getting in contact with Akmal direct after booking by Akmal himself via WhatsApp. Very easy, very comfortable in the arangement of individuell interests with him. We booked this last minute when our flight was delayed to Sydney and we had an unexpected long KL layover. Mohd was so accommodating esp when we had delays at airport and had to keep altering pick up time. He let us personalise the tour to our needs and timings and was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide as well as good fun. Mohd was brilliant. Arrived promptly. Car was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. His driving was efficient and we felt safe at all times, even in the crazy KL traffic. His commentary was concise, informative and clear. The tour felt very flexible; he regularly asked for our input if there was anything we wanted to do. It was quick but never rushed. It felt like we did more than we could possibly have done on our own or in a bigger tour group. Essentially, I’d strongly recommend Mohd and his tour of KL to anyone visiting the city. Excellent

Had a great time with Akmal exploring the best that Kuala Lumpur has to offer. I only had one free day in KL and wanted to use it to experience different sides of the city from Batu Caves to Petronas Towers. We had a fantastic tour with Akmal and cannot appreciate Akmal enough. Due ro flight delay, we met Akmal 2 hours late but he was kind enough to wait and extend the finish time so we covered all. Akmal was very knowledgeable and answered all our queries in a great way. He also kept us entertained with stories and was flexible with the itinerary as we had 2 young kids. We covered the sites mentioned in the tour and saw parts of KL we never knew before. A stop for delicious lunch was another highlight. The car was comfortable and as it could get very hot when we were walking outside, Akmal also provided some umbrellas. Overall, I would highly recommend Akmals tour and it has left us with everlasting memories. We only had a few hours of transit in KL but covered so much thanks to Akmal. We felt like we saw literally every site within KL, the tour is everything you need and more.
