Serena gave us a great tour of the Archeological Museum. We covered so much of the museum in 2 hours that we went back to see more of it ourselves, we found that we had already covered nearly everything that we had wanted to see! Serena has a wealth of knowledge about the artifacts in the museum, Pompeii, and Napoli. In the entire two hours that she spent with us, she must have been sharing something with us the entire time. We did a short walking tour of part of the city of Napoli on the first day and a tour of the museum on the second day. Our guide Serena was wonderful! We hired Serena to guide us thru the archeological museum in Naples, and so glad we did. Our ship docked an hour late, so we were 30 minutes late arriving for our time with Serena. She waited for us! She led us to the highlights of the crowded museum and carefully explained the essence of each piece. We viewed the Pompei mosaics and frescos in great detail, as well as the farnaci statues. Serena was friendly, knowledgeable and made the exhibits come to life. We would hire her again in a heartbeat.Wonderful!

We booked Serena prior to our visit to Pompei - comms was good but we had difficulty logging into Withlocals - so thankful that Serena had shared her mobile number to organise meeting point. We were quite late - hadn't factored in Naples traffic, getting lost! Serena was very patient with us and bought our tickets to Pompei to avoid further delays. We had a great 2hrs with her, explaining and exploring some of Pompei with Serena was wonderful, it really brought the place to life, she answered any questions and knew exactly where to go to show us the highlights in the time we had available. Mit Serena haben wir in den anderthalb Stunden die Altstadt durchlaufen. Dabei gab sie uns viele Hinweise, um sich zurechtzufinden. Die Altstadt ist eng und sehr voll. Dieser Einstieg war daher wichtig für die eigenen Orientierung, als wir dann allein unterwegs waren. Sehr viele Tipps gabs zum typischen Essen und den Lokalen. Wir waren auch im spanischen Viertel und wurden immer wieder mit dem Kult um Diego Maradona konfrontiert, für mich zu prominent bei der Führung. Einige historische Plätze haben wir auf dem Weg mit berührt, so den Palazzo Reale, zu dem wir später im Rahmen einer abendlichen Öffnung zurückgekehrt sind. Serena gab uns gute Hinweise, wie wir auf den Vomero gelangen, um Neapel von oben zu sehen. Mit ihr hatten wir eine sehr sympatische, aufgeschlossene Führerin, lustig und zu jeder Frage auskunftsbereit. Es war eine völlig richtige Entscheidung, unseren Aufenthalt in Neapel mit dieser indivduellen Führung zu beginnen.Gelungener Einstieg in den Takt von Neapel

Serena was exceptional from beginning to end! This was our first time hiring a tour guide for anything and Serena definitely set the bar high. We decided to hire a private guide because Pompeii is huge, we had a limited amount of time, and we have a toddler who likes to run around. We just returned from a months long trip to Italy and the day spent at Pompeii was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We really did not know many of the details beforehand so having Serena guide us thru was not only fascinating but exciting. The site is simply breathtaking with all the frescos and structures. She walked us through all of the most important areas. It is such a large site that it was very helpful to know which areas were of most importance. We would have never understood many of the details without her knowledge. She really painted a picture of what life was like in the city. It was especially interesting seeing how the noble homes were built and how they circulated the air and light. Serena gave us the perfect amount of time in each area of the site. When we finished the tour we really felt that we had a complete overview of the city. I highly recommend using a guide and especially recommend Serena. Her English is perfect and she was able to answer any questions we had and we had a lot of them. How could you not! We have had great luck with this company and use them all the time. Serena was a great guide. She took really good care of my wife and 13 year old son on our tour of Pompeii. After some extensive conversation she agreed to take us to Pompeii before she had to cook a Christmas Eve meal for her family. She met us right at the Naples train station (we came via Rome) and we all took a cab together to Pompeii. At Pompeii she whisked us right in around all of the crowds. Pompeii is gigantic and we literally would have been lost without her. She knows her stuff and took us to the spots that weren’t crowded and directed my wife where to take the best photos. After the tour (we were ready to quit before she was) we all took the bus together back to Naples (we would never have found the virtually unmarked bus stop alone). After our return she made she we were well situated and set us up with a delicious pIzza place Pizza da Michele and then she went off to Christmas with her family. Serena ROCKED

Serena picked us up at the train station where we had traveled from Rome. She was waiting at the end of the track and had her driver outside. We went down to Pompeii which is fascinating and quite large. She knows all the history and shortcuts. You actually climb quite a bit but the way she takes you through the city you don't realize it! The bathhouse had just been opened to the public and her excitement was infectious. Every time you tour they probably will have something else open. I would highly recommend it. After lunch we drove back towards Naples and saw Herculaneum. It is much smaller and quieter but a must see. There you see much more detail and some of the wood is intact. There are also the ruins of about 400 skeletons buried by the seawall. Very fascinating. She then took us to two separate hotels and we met up with her again in a week. I would highly recommend Serena and this tour!!Amazing cities and ruins

We had completed a week long catamaran trip on the Amalfi Coast and had our second tour with Serena. Turns out the marina was quite a way out of Naples yet she and her driver (Angelo) picked us up there; took us on a driving tour of the Coast and New City. Went out of their way to drop our bags at the train station (easy by the way) and then drop one set of people at the ferry terminal! Serena then took us on a walking tour of the Old City of Naples - which I would highly recommend. Depending on how much time you have there are additional museums and underground cities and excavations that you can also see. Beautiful churches which she can guide you through. Of course we had pizza! We then were able to walk to the train station although we could have taken the Metro. She is an excellent guide and very knowledgeable and accommodating! I would highly recommend her.A much better city then I ever expected!

Serena was a wonderful tour guide!! We were a little late to our meeting point in the morning at Pompeii but were able to contact her through her info and she greeted us with a big smile! We were scheduled to visit both Pompeii and Herculaneum. She was able to show us the best of both cities, so it was a compare and contrast tour. There was also a beautiful museum display in Herculaneum of jewelry that was fantastic that we would not have seen if not for her suggestion.
