Itinerary
This is what our experience could look like, but it’s not set in stone! Once you book, you can chat directly with your host to make small tweaks to suit your preferences.
Khor Virap church
The monastery complex is considered one of the sanctuaries and places of pilgrimage of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The most interesting fact about Khor Virap is that the monastery was built on the site of the royal prison, where Grigor Lusavorich, the first Catholicos and the first head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, was imprisoned for 13 years. A unique view of the biblical mountain Ararat opens from the territory of the monastery complex.
Noravank monastery
The Noravank monastery complex is located in a gorge surrounded by red rocks. It was founded in the 13th century on the territory of two ancient churches that existed earlier. The complex was built by prominent architects Siranes and Momik and is the most recognized spiritual center and shrine of Vayots Dzor region. Noravank is a magnificent work of medieval architecture. It is a unique beauty, especially with the mysterious shade of red rocks.
Areni-1(Birds Cave)
Birds Cave located in the gorge. It consists of 3 halls, has approximately 500 m² area, the large part of which still hasn’t been explored. As a result of studies, metal knives, fruit seeds, grain residues, rope, dishes, clothing, dried grapes and plums, dated to 4200-3500 BC, were found in the cave. The oldest leather shoe of the world was found right here. It is more than 5500 years old. Also, in the same area, there were found world’s oldest women’s skirt (3900 BC), as well as the first winery in the whole world. Nowadays the mentioned winery is considered to be the ancient one and it is referred to 4th millennium BC. No one has lived inside the cave, at the meantime, wine consumption was of ritual meaning for people.
Areni winery
Viticulture in Armenia began many years before our era. Areni is considered the birthplace of Armenian winemaking. The oldest winery in Armenia is located here, around which more than 20 types of grapes are cultivated. The most valuable of them is the Areni grape, from which the famous Areni wine is made. It is produced annually in the amount of more than 250 tons and sold not only in Armenia, but also outside its borders. And Areni opens the door up to taste one of the famous wine in Armenia

Despite Ruz being young, she is well experienced in the field and knowledgeable about Armenia's history. Her love to share about Armenia is impeccable.
Before we even left our tropical home country, Singapore, she sent us a direct message showing the heavy snow conditions at one of the cities we'll be visiting and reminded us to pack warm. I thought, how thoughtful of her.
Armenian roads are not for the weak. The driver still manages to get us to various stops fast yet we felt we were in safe hands.
I also loved we interacted with the locals. We were rejected payment a few times saying it's their "Armenia hospitality". We were offered free gatar and coffee. Yum!
Wished we had more days in Armenia. Thank you for an enjoyable and memorable trip Ruz! Glad We went with a Local Guide

We had a wonderful tour with Ruz seeing the highlights of Yerevan on our first day. Actually our tour turned into a two day tour when a thunder storm prevented us safely to finish our tour. Ruz suggested we adjourn until the next morning. We were grateful to her for that and enjoyed day two with sunny weather. Having a local guide to show you around a new city like Yerevan is always a good idea. Fun and Informative

Ruz was a fantastic guide. She ensured we saw all of the important sites and was even willing to adapt our tour to ensure we saw other locations that were of interest to us. The tour was so great that we ended up spending another day with her as well. You won’t go wrong with her Tours with opportunities to see areas of northern and southern Armenia. These tours are easy drives from Yerevan. Pick Ruz, you’ll be glad you did.Absolutely excellent tour with Ruz!

Had an amazing day with Ruz, visiting the Temple of Garni (did you know there is a Greek temple in Armenia, built in the first century AD?), and then the amazing Geghard Monastery, parts of which date back to the fourth century AD. She had also arranged transport (a friendly driver and car) for the day for a reasonable price. After returning from the sites out of town we also toured downtown Yerevan and Ruz explained a lot of details, related to earlier as well as very recent history of the city, buildings, places to shop and much more. She speaks good English and knows the sights to see in Armenia well, has an engaging and friendly personality and I found her to be a great companion to discover Armenia and Yerevan - highly recommended!!Visit to east part of Armenia Garni temple Geghard monastery, the symphony of stones

I would defenitly recommend Sweet Ruzanna to all serious travellers planing a visit to Yerevan and other places in Armenia. She was committed to improvise my plan and even helped me to cover more places than I I actually planned for that day. She knows the places well and also the routes, so we were able to save a lot of time and actually spend quality time in the places we wanted to visit. And not to mention the laughs we had through out the tour. She is funny and smart. It was fun travelling with her. God bless Lil Ruzanna.Private tour in Yerevan city

Ruz has a detailed knowledge of Armenian history and it's culture, she is a focused person who will give her best to make sure no details are missed from the points. We went to so many places but mount Aragats peak was wonderful and memorable, we had Ruz's friend who drove the car so three of us did pretty much of fun, and so the journey went well in the whole tour. At Aragats there was a little snow saturated but temperature was still freezing cold, fresh clean air and I loved it! On the way back down to Aragats Coincidentally we had found a tourist destination at Byurakan called as 'Zipwine' which was not in the plan , they offered wine tasting and other activities but to make up with the cold weather we decided to go for the wine and I tasted couple of wines from there collection with a beautiful balcony view. We then headed the Alphabet alley where we did a little trek, climbed past the alley to view newly built structure- the holy cross made up of metal pipes and a church. Overall I explored so many new places with Ruz and city center too and she takes good care of yourself that you won't find difficult to walk with her. She is a brilliant and responsible guide who honestly does her job. All the best Ruz! ts’tesut’yun until we meet again!Aragats mountain,Byurkan zipwine,Alphabet Alley

Ruzanna was a great guide. She has good knowledge about the history of Armenia and she knows most of the important sites also. My trip with her was on 3 full days and she gave me a very detailed tour of the most important sites in Armenia like the Holocaust Museum, Cascade steps to the Mother Armenia monument, Sevan Lake, Sevanavank Monastary, Lake Pars, Dilijan, Garni Temple, Khor Virap and also the Geghard Monastery. She along with our driver Mr. David made my trip to Armenia a very memorable one. I have no hesitation in recommending her to any one who wants to make their trip to Armenia a memorable experience. She can also guide you to local eat outs and markets where you can purchase your souvenirs and other items at a very reasonable price.Countryside tour 4 days
