Claudia and Giovanni are such welcoming hosts and make visitors feel like friends. Giovanni's carbonara, flat meatballs (a Roman specialty!), and homemade tiramisu were delicious. They both were great conversationalists and Claudia took extra care to write down the locations of Caravaggio paintings I was curious about. Claudia and Giovanni were exceptional hosts and even better pasta makers!! We arrived early and they greeted us with open arms. We had scheduled making tortellini for our dinner with these great locals. Giovanni showed us how to make everything from scratch and was patient with us while we made our main course and learned the fine art of tortellini! We laughed and talked all evening with them. We could not have asked for a better meal and with better company! We made great memories and can’t wait to try our new skills when we arrive home! They even modified for my dietary needs 😊 It was an unforgettable night! They have their own organic 🪴 so my salad was so fresh! Everyone else had pasta for an appetizer … yes pasta first! 2nd course was chicken with sweet peppers from their 🪴 & a side of roasted potatoes. Dessert was a bowl of tropical fruit 🍎🍌🍊 AND gf/Df wafers with a Christmas 🎄candle for my birthday 🥳 Best surprise ever! Followed by cappuccino & green tea! Delicious:)  We had so much fun and feel like we have known Giovanni and Claudia for many years. What an unexpected and delicious treat!! Authentic Local fare and hospitality.

We had the best time with Claudia and Giovanni. Claudia graciously accommodated our party of five. We were warmly welcomed into their charming home and we felt like we were part of their family by the end of the evening! Giovanni showed us how to make two kinds of pasta, one stuffed with spinach and ricotta, tossed with butter and sage and the other tossed with tomato and basil. Perfection! Giovanni shared the recipe with us before leaving and we are hoping to be able to recreate this meal in our own home upon returning from our trip. After making pasta we had an added bonus of having two students join us for dinner and it felt like we were at a traditional Sunday Italian meal with a big family and so much good food. This experience is one of the highlights of our trip and we highly recommend this for others.Our new Roman family!

Giovanni and Claudia were amazing hosts! we had a great time. The accommodated our picky 10 year old with plain pasta and plain chicken, she loved it!! we got to enjoy a home made pasta dish to start, followed by a super tasty chicken dish. Very authentic Italian! We had dinner on their huge patio!! As great as the dinner was the conversation was even better :). We really enjoyed the hospitality, the good food and the conversations we had with Claudia and Francesco! They were really great hosts. Although we were late due to public transport issues, they waited for us and picked us up at the train station. The food was typical Roman, it was freshly made by Francesco while Claudia entertained us with a lot of useful insider Information about rome. It’s just a 9/10 because my athletic brother wasn’t totally full after the meal (but he never is) 😂 Et Stacazzi! But the wine and sambuca made up for it! Was a wonderful night we all enjoyed! My friend Trina and her three kids are in Rome on vacation and I booked dinner with Francesco and Claudia and it was such a treat! They have a wonderful patio that was perfect for hosting us in this unusually hot weather Rome is having. It was also awesome for the three kids run around while we all chatted. It was so lovely to meet both of them and their son, who helped prepare the delicious meal. They accommodated for the kids and that was appreciated-they ate every bit of their meals, as did we. The conversation was really wonderful and we enjoyed meeting another guest that rode in from The Netherlands too. We appreciated them helping us get to our Uber too because it’s not always easy to find a ride for 5. They are a sweet family and we were grateful to have a home cooked meal and such good laughter and conversation. “It was amazing!”-11 yr old-we all agree!

What a wonderful evening we had with our super hosts Fracesco and Claudia, great food, great hosts and a great evening. The food was superb, we opted for some additional local delights and were stuffed by the end of our meal! Francesco is a fabulous chef, the food was freshley prepared and it was a delght to be welcomed into their apartment. We chatted about many different things, living in Rome, families, Brexit, football, education and school lunches, work - or not and of course food. We were made to feel very relaxed and welcome from the moment we were collected to our goodbyes which felt like saying goodbye to old friends. A much better experience than sitting in a restuarant with hordes of other visitors, would definitley do this again. Thank you to you both.A super way to spend the evening

From the moment we got picked up by Claudia to the time she dropped us off at the metro, we had lovely evening with her and husband, Francesco. Claudia gave us plenty of information about the area they lived in. We ordered an antipasto course as reviews we had read suggested portion sizes were a little small, but this was not the case here and we were full to bursting at the end of the meal. This was followed by a lovely pasta dish with pig cheeks and then chicken cacciatore with meatballs, the best dish of the day! Only 2 of the 4 in our party could manage the dessert - Tiramisu! Large bottle of red wine on the table, so conversation never flagged ! Definitely worth it.Great Food and Company

Claudia and Francesco hosted us very well. We enjoyed some good conversation and learned a lot about the culture and Francesco's own personal liqueur stash. He made an excellent Carbonara and Roma Meatballs. Claudia's Tiramisu was fantastic! They picked us up right on time from the meeting location which is easy to find. They were also very generous and drove us all the way to our door of our Airbnb. These are quality people and worth a meal in their home. I felt like we left as friends. They are a really friendly couple. They picked us up from the station and dropped us off. It was nice that they gave us a little tour of sites as were in the car. The 3 courses of food were lovely and tasteful and we had some nice wine. Claudia even gave us a little Rome souvenir. Sadly we both left a bit hungry. Nice evening. My son and I had dinner with Claudia and Francesco last week. They picked us up at the Piramide metro station. Francesco did the cooking, and everything was delicious. It was fun to meet "real" Italians (as opposed to hundreds of tourists everywhere) and to be able to ask them all types of questions about how things work in Italy and their way of life. Our flight and train to Trastevere arrived late. So when we checked into our Airbnb and put everything down, my phone stopped working and I couldn't make it to the meeting point.
