We had a fab time with Nopi! We really wanted to experience the local cuisine and find places we would not be able to on our own and Nopi delivered! We are vegetarian and he was able to find great food, and even get the vendors to change some dishes to remove the meat so we could enjoy! He was super knowledgeable about the cuisine, culture and history of Bali and we had a really fun time with him! Highly recommend!Must do in Bali!

June took myself, my wife and our 8 month old son for the food tour around Denpasar. We had a fantastic time, definitely helped by how accommodating and kind June was with our son. She also gave us some great recommendations for the remainder of our time in Bali and for some other places we are keen to explore. Key highlights were Sate Plecing Arjuna (the sate sticks are delicious) and Tan-Panama Coffee (the Lacca singnature coffee in particular was a great recommend!). The Sate Godzilla also deserves a special mention and definitely lives up to its name! Definitely recommend coming hungry as the food flows non-stop throughout!Family friendly food tour in Denpasar

Reza's evening food tour was fantastic and so is he. He went out of his way to pick us up and took us to five amazing restaurants and also a few excellent stalls in the night market. We had some absolutely brilliant food in places we would never have found otherwise - from grilled pork to suckling pig to smoked duck as well as the best Balinese chendol the Singaporeans in the group has ever had. Reza was also kind enough to give us a lot of local recommendations and also to drop us back after a tour that massively exceeded expectations. If I'm back in Bali in the future, I'll be back. Super tour, fantastic food, great company!

We hebben een hele fijne en interessante rondleiding gehad, I Putu Merta heeft echt de tijd voor ons genomen. Eén van ons is net ziek geweest (waarschijnlijk bali belly) en hij heeft hier rekening mee gehouden door alleen te gaan eten bij tentjes waar het eten goed verhit (geserveerd) werd en hij koos overal voor de meest verse producten. Hij spreekt goed Engels en we gingen niet enkel eten proeven maar I Putu Merta vertelde ons van alles over het land en de cultuur. Hij nam echt uitgebreid de tijd hiervoor en we kregen absoluut niet het idee dat het gehaast ging, we hebben ruim 3 uur rond gewandeld en hij vraagt geregeld of je nog iets wil, maar je krijgt al zo veel eten dat wij het knap zouden vinden als dit nodig is. Het eten was allemaal erg lekker, natuurlijk heb je je voorkeuren maar niets viel ons tegen. Als wij weer in Bali komen zouden we zo nog een tour van I Putu Merta willen, we kunnen dit dan ook aan een ieder aanbevelen, het bleek één van de leukste activiteiten tijdens onze hele reis. Putu was an absolute delight and very happy to please our group. We started at the markets with a very informative tour and tried some delicious local fruits etc. and found out the local system with the different tiers of quality of vegetables going to restaurants, supermarkets and local suppliers. We then move to a beautiful Warung amongst a garden where Putu gave an very knowledgable talk about the value of us all visiting and contributing to the local market and how important tourism is to Bali. The food was all delicious (mostly vegan) yum. Lastly, the authentic coffee shop was our last visit where we experienced not only the delicious coffee but one of the original coffee places in Denpasar which had the coolest vibe and a awesome experience. We did the 10 tastings tour as a family of four. Budi took us around the night market and traditional market in Denpasar, where we got to try many local delicacies. They were all well selected local places (hardly saw any tourists around) We could have never found all those options ourselves. So much food, bring a big appetite! Highly recommended! We would definitely reccomend this tour. We met Budi in the centre of Denpasar and immediately had a good connection. Budi is very enthousiastic, passionate and friendly. June Sophia was very flexible and eager to please. Originally, we were meeting in Ubud, but she agreed to pick us up and deliver us back to our hotel. She took to amazing local food places. We ate in kitchens, visited numerous restaurants and tasted a full array of Balinese foods - rice, chicken, soups, bbq, pork, fish, sushi, coffees, teas. Kadek was wonderful across our time together. We did his local food tour and it was an amazing experience, finding local spots and the best of the best food and produce to try around Denpasar. Across the tour he also went above and beyond with answering any questions we might have. Our group of 5 had a wonderful food trip with Reza. I asked him if he could pick us up from our hotel and he readily agreed (for a minimal fee) and this was the best decision since we were able to go to places truly off the beaten path. It’s a great introduction to Balinese cuisine. You will be a warung expert afterwards. There is SO MUCH FOOD. I recommend this tour as a substitute of lunch or dinner. By stop 6 /7 we were tapping out. Reza was great about making changes on the fly, giving into our sweet and cold cravings, and answering our questions. I was worried about the cost (we had some spontaneous bites) and time (we lingered in some places) but Reza was so reassuring and sweet. He’s a great dude. It felt like we were hanging with a friend. Wat een leuke ervaring, eindelijk eens iets waar niet alleen toeristen zijn. June was een geweldige gids die ons mee nam naar allemaal leuke plekken. Overal mochten we dingen proeven, en als we het niet op konden dan kregen we het mee naar huis. June was great - brilliant pre-tour communication and super informative during the tour. We bounced between spots that we’d have never have found otherwise - a delicious claypot noodle spot, a super modern locally popular coffee shop and then around some of the best treats in the market. Putu gave us a great food tour through centre of Denpasar! We were led through market streets that were relentlessly increasing in organised chaos until we reached the belly of the beast - the Bandung market. We wouldn't have dared to wonder into such market, and even if we would have - we would have got lost. Putu has patiently and calmly guided us, explained, introduced us to history of, and answered all of our questions about everything we passed. Putu had great English skills, so there were no communication issues. The tour was exactly what we wanted and more! If you are coming to Bali - this tour is a must must must!! Budi was an amazing tour guide. We originally booked a street food tour and he personalised the tour for us so that we could eat vegan street food. His attention to detail and our comfort and experience was exceptional. We asked to see a mixture or art and jewellery places and he chose some great places for us to visit. He was able to adapt to our changing needs during the tour and was able to provide interesting insights into life in Bali. June was such a fantastic guide. She knew so many people as we were walking around and took us to all the local places that she would go to. We are like locals in some really interesting places and ate so much that we could not move. She also took us to a couple of sites as we walked around, and by the time we finished, we felt like we had made a life long friend. She made us laugh, taught us about her life in Bali and her family. We could not have asked for a better tour. Our only wish was that we had met her on the first day of our holiday, not the last, so we could have used some of the advice she gave us!
