   This is what our experience could look like, but it’s not set in stone! Once you book, you can chat directly with your host to make small tweaks to suit your preferences.

3. Here is the itinerary of the morning tour;

   -10.00: a private tour guide and tuk-tuk driver will pick you up at the hotel. The meeting point is in front of the reception counter. -10.30: visit the flower market. -11.20: visit the grand palace. -12.20: lunch break. -13.00: visit the Wat Pho temple(reclyning Budhhda). -13.50: cross the Chaopraya river by a public ferry to visit the Wat Arun temple (temple of dawn) -14.00: visit the Wat Arun temple. -14.30: hop on a tuktuk to go to the food market. -14.45: explore Thai food at the historic area of Thailand. -15.30: Tour end. *Drop-off service at the hotel is excluded*

4. Here is the itinerary of the afternoon tour;

   -14.00: a private tour guide and tuk-tuk driver will pick you up at the hotel. The meeting point is in front of the reception counter. -14.30: visit the flower market. -15.20: visit the Wat Arun temple. -16.00: grab some drinks at the rooftop bar to enjoy the Chaopraya river view. -16.50: hop on a tuktuk to go to the China Town street food area. -17.20: explore the market and enjoy tasting Thai food, etc. -19.00: Tour end. *Drop-off service at the hotel is excluded*

5. Special treat only for the morning tour;

   You can use the entrance ticket of the grand palace to get in and watch "Khon"; Masked Dance Drama and the high performing arts of Thailand at Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theatre. It's only 2 minutes walk from the market to the theatre. The show start at 16.00. It's around 25 minutes show.

6. Dress code for male;

   Please wear long pants or pants that are longer than the knees length, short sleeves polo shirt, and sports shoes.

7. Dress code for female

   Please wear long skirt/pants, short sleeves polo shirt, a long dress with sleeves, and sports shoes. You cannot wear any revealing clothes and flip-flops.

Our guide was lovely, friendly, smart and it was a pleasure to spend the visit with her ! She gave good explanations and good tips about the monuments we visited. It was great to be with her. 2 points to improve : - Nevertheless, it was not necessary to take us to the mall at the end.. we found it was not interesting… we would have preferred to visit a more typical and inspiring place in Bangkok. - considering the high price we paid, we would have appreciated to be driven back to our hotel… A part from those 2 points, we really enjoyed our day visit…! Lovely guide !

A was a wonderful host. She was very timely. Taught us hello and thank you. She was very informative and took us to a couple temples. We were able to have an enjoyable and tasty breakfast with Thai coffee. The flower market was awesome with a lesson on how to prepare a flower to offer at the temple. Definitely this tour covers must see places in Bangkok. However, a 6h tour should not end after 4.5h. And it should not end that far off from other interesting places, even though the market it ends on was worth a visit. Must see places, but improvable tour

I had Meow as a guide and she was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Everything ran smoothly and Meow took a lot of time to explain the history of the temples to me. We only had 2 days in Bangkok and the first day we were so jet lagged we didn't do much. The second day we went on a private TukTuk tour with Meow. We had booked it from the UK based on a recommendation, and we were not disappointed. Meow was great, extremely knowledgeable about the Royal palace and the history of the Royal family and all the Temples. The flower market was great, really interesting as we walked though and tasted a bitter leaf and learnt all about the flowers and fruit etc. The TukTuk was definitely an experience not to be missed, quite mad to be in one in the crazy streets of Bangkok, but we didn't feel unsafe at any time. We went for lunch at a nice air-conditioned restaurant and we chatted with Meow about her life in Thailand and her family and it was very relaxed and easy going. I had worried that the guide would have a very strong accent and we wouldn't be able to fully understand, but Meows English is fluent and with a clear speaking voice and you quickly get used to her slight accent. We would heartily recommend you take a tour with Meow in the TukTuk. Its a long and extremely hot day, with lots of walking also, but thoroughly enjoyable.Absolutely brilliant experience with Meow

We were really disappointed. We (2) booked the tour because we wanted to have a private guide that was able to give us information about the most important attractions as mentioned in the your. Out tour guide did not show up and sent her brother instead. He was nice person but did not know a lot to explain us. We told him but it remained the same. Silo we stopped the tour after 3 hours because we wanted to inform us by ourself. Wen sent a message via chat but got no answer so far (approx. 24 h after the tour). The tour we booked a day before with another guide was great… that tour was really disappointing.Disappointed

We spent the afternoon with Golf and was able to see several temples, the Royal Palace, and Chinatown. Could have done this all on our own and saved money, as we had to pay for everything we entered and everything we ate, but we didn't have the time to research the key sites in Bangkok nor sort out tuk-tuk costs (which are much lower for Thai people). Was helpful to get some history and context from Golf, but in retrospect it was not essential to have a tour. A decent tour when time is short

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with a local around Bangkok, and found our guide very friendly and knowledgeable and we cannot fault the trip in any way - we were a little daunted when we arrived in Bangkok the night before, but after our day touring around and being told the local traditions and history we felt much more at home and comfortable with our surroundings. Everything was explained, and other advise and recommendations given to support the rest of or stay - we loved the tour of the Grand Palace and temples, and our tuk tuk driver was on hand at every stop and navigated his way around the city with ease - all round a great trip and we have already recommended to our friends.Fantastic Service and Great Experience

As first time visitors to Bangkok, we wanted a tour that would introduce us to the city, but to see things from a locals perspective. This tour did exactly that. We got to see so much in such a short space of time, but the day never felt rushed. Our guide, Meaw, was brilliant! She was friendly, humorous and most importantly, hugely knowledgable. There is nothing better on vacation then spending time with a local that is passionate, knowledgeable and vested in sharing their city's best. Meow was an absolutely a joy! She was funny, informative, genuine and helpful. Communication with Jekky and the team was perfect, simple and succinct. L'accueil et l'équipe a été super... disponibles, souriants, et plein de bonne volonté! Notre jeune guide Bon, dont c'était la première visite a été adorable, essayant de faire de son mieux, parlant un français très correct pour son âge ( 18 ans) Le programme prévu a été respecté, en 2H30 nous avions fait tout le tour prévu... Mais malheureusement cela n'a pas été à la hauteur de nos espérances, nous nous attendions à un guide expérimenté, qui nous ferait découvrir les dessous de Bangkok! ça n'a pas du tout été le cas... Sincèrement nous aurions pu le faire seul, avec un tuk tuk que nous aurions "privatisé" pendant 3h... ou même en prenant des différents... c'est très facile, et même si ça coute plus cher qu'un taxi ça reste raisonnable! Nous ne le conseillons donc pas... sauf si vous avez vraiment peur de vous perdre! mais pour un voyageur expérimenté, ça manque un peu de hauteur! Visite en tuk tuk express!

We knew Bangkok was going to be a crazy ,busy city and didn't really know where to start. We booked the tour and our guide met us at our hotel. From the start Mimi was fantastic. We did a tuk tuk tour to a flower market, temples and food market. A couple of the highlights were learning to fold the lotus petals back for an offering at the temple and the blessing by a monk. We shared a lovely lunch together at the food market after a long boat ride along the river, giving us an opportunity to see even more. I cannot recommend Mimi highly enough and would advise anyone coming to this amazing city to get out there with a local and explore, you won't regret it!Fantastic way to see Bangkok

We had an 11 hour stopover in Bangkok and booked a "Tuk-Tuk, boat, temples & markets" tour with Jekky and Team. The tour took around 5 hours, it was very interesting and we could realize all what was planned except the flower market since we lost some time in a traffic jam with the tuk-tuks. With Jekky's team we were in good hands, the communication, also beforehand when fixing the program arranging the meeting point, worked very well. They were very friendly and courteous. In the few hours we had together we got a lot of information about Bangkok and the sighs we visited. At every place we were we could take the time we needed and enjoy the trip. So, alltogether, I can really recommend this tour. I have one improvement suggestion: For customers like us, coming from and returning to the airport, it would be helpful and save quite some time to send one of the Withlocals team to the airport for pickup. We had to figure out on our own how to get to the meeting point in Phayathai, organize tickets for the train, etc. Meeting at the airport would have been much more convenient for us.Interesting glimpses of Bangkok

Spending a Bangkok afternoon with Jekky was fun, informative, stunning, and delectable. Highly recommend her tour as you get the must-see and must-eat highlights via a private Tuk Tuk. We were in Bangkok for only 1 full day; hence, having a local/expert guide us through and elaborate-on the Wat Pho/Wat-complex (customs/history/philosophy) was mind expanding. As she is a world-trotting Thai chef, the market tour filled our bellies with the best Thai dishes/snacks. The Wat and market guided tours are well worth embarking on with Jekky. She went above/beyond when I mentioned that I needed a massage due to the long travel days, and she generously took us to her go-to traditional Thai massage spot after our guided tour ended (we would have never located this real-deal/legit locale). Wow, after several hours of walking/seeing/talking/eating we each got a much needed refreshing massage (I opted for 1-hour Thai and they got 1-hour foot massage); we all left the massage refreshed/rejuvenated. Jekky was friendly and very good with engaging my daughters aged 10 and 12, who were visiting Bangkok for the first time. We had a quick tour around the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Pho using tuk-tuk, and had some authentic Thai food and desserts near Ari BTS station. It would have been better if we were able to hear more about the history and interesting facts about Grand Palace and the temples we visited. The trip was fun and smooth. Although the guide changed last minute, our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. The train market and the floating market are amazing in themselves, but the infrastructure is rough. Having a guide made all the difference and we could enjoy the place without worrying. Cannot recommend Miss Tai strongly enough, she was an excellent guide for the day. We wanted to see the floating markets and the famous train market and experiece some authentic culture and they didn't disappoint!. Miss Tai was knowledgeable about the places to buy things from, took us on a private paddle boat tour. Lunch at the local canteen wad great.
