Moody speaks English well. Her knowledge of Buddhism was enlightening and we very much enjoyed the experience of listening to the traditional Buddhist practice of chanting and talking with a monk afterwards. The temples and meditation areas are beautiful. We also took an evening market food tour with Maddy that was filled with delicious food that we would not have known to try. Moddy was a wonderful guide. We did temple tours with her, and she was so knowledgeable about Buddhism and the history of the temples. She also couldn’t have been more accommodating. When our flight was delayed, she rescheduled her day to be able tp meet us hours later than the original time. We had a perfect tour with Moddy. We asked that the tour be modified a bit so we could have lunch and coffee as we toured. Moddy created an ideal tour for us touring some, having lunch in Chinatown, touring some more, then having coffee and finishing up at the reclining Buddha which was the highlight of our visit to Bangkok. Moddy took us on the most wonderful day trip to Kanchanburi. She was exceptionally professional, corresponding with us will in advance of the trip to understand our preferences and priorities. The day of she and our driver arrived with extra time to spare making sure that we had everything we needed prior to our departure. We did a number of activities off the beaten path, tailored to our traveling style; huge photography fans as well as small children who love interactive experiences. From buying food from locals and trying all of the fruits and tasty treats that the roadside stands had to offer to spending time and small local villages where we got to see a piece of everyday Thai life, we could not have been more happy. Moddy was an amazing guide! She is so friendly and upbeat. We were with her for the nighttime street food market tour our first night in Bangkok. I have a gluten allergy and she was so helpful in making sure I could eat safely. My daughter and husband are total foodies and Moddy was fantastic at making sure they tried so many authentic Thai foods. She also gave us lots of tips for navigating the city the rest of our visit. Moddy organised a day tour for me during my layover before my evening flight. She picked me up at the airport earlier than planned meaning we were able to visit a second temple. She showed me the different public transportation options and highlighting stations to have in mind if I ever wanted to visit on my own. She’s very knowledgeable and lovely, and always willing to help plan a tour around your wishes and budget. Moddy was also helpful to explore the booking of other tours and communication was quick and easy. We met Moddy on time at the meeting point and she guided us on the metro to the market while providing general information. The market was delightful and we proceeded to roam all the food stalls while Moddy provided guidance on the food and preparation. We then proceeded to tell Moddy which foods we liked to try out, whereupon we picked a table and Moddy started serving the food in courses. While we tasted the different foods Moddy sat with us while chatting and telling us more about the culture, food and Bangkok. Moddy arrived at our hotel ahead of the scheduled time. The contact with her was very friendly and easy going right from the start. As we had arrived early at our hotel as well, we all decided to get going without losing any time. The tour evolved as planned beforehand and Moddy also took the time to show us where we could exchange currency. Moddy is a very funny and interesting person and gave plentiful of information. She adapted the pace of the visits to our needs (especially on that hot and humid day) and we sat down for a nice cold drink when needed. Moddy on many occasions offered to take pictures of us, which changes from the odd selfies we usually have to do. She has very original ideas on where and how to take pictures, which delighted us a lot. Our tour took longer than scheduled and Moddy was kind and flexible enough to continue well beyond the agreed time. This was very much appreciated. I had a private tour and got stuck in traffic and she guided me to the best spot to meet and accommodated me! Then, the tour was so informative, and beyond just sharing history. We did not receive any insights into the city. We started at the “hidden market” which wasn’t anything special. We walked through it without any explanation of anything, and listened to Moddy complain about the heat constantly. We bought our own water in a shop which was the only refreshment we had. Next was a very short ferry ride to cross to Wat Arun temple. Again no explanation apart from which king built it. (The next day we learnt more from an on-site guide in the first five minutes at Wat Pho temple). We then took a very short tuk tuk ride to the Flower market. This was probably the most interesting site and one we wouldn’t have visited had it not been in the tour. It was very hard to understand Moddy as her English is not great at all. We then walked to Memorial Bridge, basically to get the sunset. Moddy did take photos of our family along the route which was about the only advantage of having her with us. We said we were looking at taking a boat tour along the klongs the nexts day. She advised us it would be about 2000 baht each for a private tour. We actually found one at 1500 baht for all of us! Very poor value especially as the cost is per person. She did help us with buying tickets for the metro and sky train after the tour (although this worked out more than a taxi would have been as there were four of us). We were very disappointed, worst part of our trip, no insights or info. I asked where the royal family and she said no one knows- it’s like David Beckham in our country, no one knows where he lives!Very poor tour

Moddy was a wonderful guide. It was our first time in Bangkok and we were not sure where to go and how to get around. Moddy created a great program for our family (with two 15year old boys). She expected us in the hotel lobby even before the scheduled time. She showed us the grand palace and emerald Buddha with a lot of historic informations and background and always managed to find some cooler spots with fans or air conditionnin between to recover from the heat. We went to a food market snd tried some street food that she recommended in an area with more locals and less tourists. We went on canal tour with a private boat and to some more temples (declining Buddha….). The tour was exhausting due to the heat, but we had a lot of fun and so much information. Moddy is full of energy and keeps you going! She is so communicative and knows a lot sbout history and stories you will hardly find! Thank you for a great day!!!!What a day! Great time!

We did two tours with Moody. One day at the Railway Station and Floating Market. On another day, Bangkok Sightseeing. Both tours were perfectly organized. Since I'm traveling alone with the children, it's always very important for me to have someone I can rely on. And with Moody, that was the case 100%. We learned so much about Bangkok. She knows the best spots, and also caters to individual wishes specifically and has a solution for everything. She safely took us to every destination and back. She gave us a lot of tips and told us a lot about Thai culture. She's incredibly good with children, and taught the kids a lot about Thailand, too. She also organized the tour perfectly, so it suited everyone well. She was always perfectly prepared. She always chose the best timing for all destinations so that we never got into a direct tourist jam.
