I was hesitating taking the trip to the floating and the train market considering it too crowded and too touristy. But with our local guide Nat everything went very smooth and the experience was very pleasant and interesting. He knew what was the best spot to watch the train, to buy souvenirs, to have lunch, to park the car. Nat speaks very vey good English as he lived abroad for over 20 years. We went on a 6 hour outing with Nat to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and the Maeklong Railway Market. Not only is he an excellent tour guide, he is such an interesting person to talk with. We both felt as if we had made a new friend by the end of the tour. He knew where to go for good seats to see the train and got us to the market before it was insanely busy. And then took us to a fantastic place for lunch. Hotel pick up and drop off in a comfortable air conditioned car. What a great day with some great memories!A great time wherever you go with Nat!

The whole day was a wonderful adventure that we will remember for years to come. Artty was a fantastic guide with a great sense of humour! Communication with him from the beginning was fabulous and he allowed us to add a couple of things to the tour schedule without any bother. He was brilliant with my two children and made on the spot changes to the itinerary to tailor it towards what he thought would interest them most. A special mention must go to our driver for the day as well who was amazing and looked after us all so well. It was such a fun day to meet Piyaporn and and get to explore outside of Bangkok. The train market was one of a kind and Piyaporn did a great job navigating the area and best places to take photos. We found some awesome souvenirs. Also - she got our picture in front of the train after it stopped. On the way to the floating market we got a snack at a local vendor - what a fun experience!! The floating market and exploring around it was one of a kind. Great way to see how people live and then get an opportunity to shop. Overall, great day of exploring and shopping! :) Great Day!

Our family had the best adventure with Saravarint and her driver. The trip was made bespoke for us including things that Saravarint recommended to us during the day including a trip to a coconut farm and temple. We also wanted to pick up some Thai silk to bring home and Saravarint made sure that we found the right place! Donald holte uns zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt pünktlich im Hotel ab und fuhr uns dann zuverlässig und entspannt zum Railway Market. Die Zeit im Auto war extrem kurzweilig, da Donald sehr viel über Thailand erzählte und uns einen tollen Einblick in Kultur und Geschichte des Landes ermöglichte. Nach dem Besuch des Railway Marktes ging’s direkt um Floating Market, den wir mit dem Boot erkundeten. Auch hier gab es viele Informationen und nette Anekdoten von Donald, sodass die Tour zu einem echten Highlight wurde. Nach einem gemeinsamen Mittagessen ging es dann wieder zurück in den Verkehr nach Bangkok und ins Hotel. Donald ist ein sehr netter und unterhaltsamer Begleiter und kann mit einem umfangreichen Wissen über das Leben in Thailand einen ganzen Tag so spannend gestalten, dass die Zeit nur so verfliegt. Tuangtip picked us up from our hotel and took us to the Railway market at Maeklong station and then to the Floating Market. She was a mine of interesting information and we learned more about the food and history of Thailand in this one trip than we have over the last 15 years of visiting. I do not normally leave reviews but our day to the floating market and more was just wonderful. Polly, our guide, struck the right balance between being informative and letting us experience it for ourselves. Her interactions with market traders helped us gain insights we never would have by ourselves, and her kindness and guidance in other matters was flawless. The driver drove well, smoothly and safely and was very polite. Polly capped off the return journey with an impromptu suggestion based on a story of mine from a previous visit. Araya was very kind. When at the floating market she was sure to find us the best deals on anything we were looking for. She went out of her way to welcome us. I do wish we could have shopped a bit more at railway market as well as be in the action ( like in one of the shops) when the train passed. Overall we felt well cared for and really enjoyed our day!!

Nok came to pick us up from our hotel. She was instantly warm and friendly. She told us a lot of information that was really interesting on our journey to the railway market. She went out of her way to get us a good view of the train at the railway market. It was very very busy but we got some good photos. She asked us if we would prefer a paddle boat at the floating market. We chose a paddle boat and It was really good fun. Nok showed us where to eat lunch and helped us order it. We learnt a lot from Nok about Thai culture. She was also eager to learn from us. She taught us some words in Thai. We taught her some in English. She then went out of her way again by returning a gift I had bought and put in her bag. When she dropped us off I had forgotten about it. She text me to tell me she was going to return it. Chef Hnoi has organized our trip to the train market and boat market with a private driver. She came to pick us up at the hotel on time and has a perfect English and Spanish. At the market she explained to us various types of local fruits and food and made us try them. She showed us places where tourists don’t go, had a private long tail boat to take us to the local floating market far away from the tourist’s places, which was great. We booked the floating market and train tour with Arrty and I cannot recommend both him as a guide enough, or booking a trip through the company enough. Zunächst einmal zu Donald. Er ist ein unglaublich sympathischer, lustiger und weltoffener Mensch mit einer eigenen spannenden Lebensgeschichte. Der Ausflug mit ihm war sehr lehrreich über Thailand und vor allem über Bangok. Als wir die Märkte besucht haben er hat uns viel gezeigt, erklärt und geholfen. We are so thrilled to have picked Hnoi as our Bangkok guide. We originally booked a tour of both floating and train markets, but added an additional day of touring Bangkok Including Grand Palace, temples, china town, flower market, and Khon theater performance. We are so thankful that we added the extra day! Aside from being friendly and hospitable, Hnoi expressed so much passion and love for everything Thailand. Hnoi knows all the secret tricks such as getting us to the front of the train as it rolled into the train market. Excellent photo/video opportunity . She encouraged us to try some local delicacies, unusual to the USA. We learned so much about the country, culture and religion. It was both fun and enlightening. In addition she is an excellent photographer and captured us in both posed and candid shots throughout the days. We’re so thankful for these photo memories of our time in this wonderful place.
