We had a very authentic an interesting tour visiting the canals in Tonburi by private longboat, visiting both local temples and a great workshop for kids with painting, making charms etc. Our kids loved that part. And riding along the canals and hearing the history and every day stories of local life was a unique experience that we couldn’t have found otherwise.. We also visited the very popular Way Arun, and again our guide made it a unique and special experience telling us insiders stories from everyday Thai life. We were a family of 5, kids aged 6-14 and our guide managed to make it a great experience for everybody.. We highly recommend this unique experience for everybody. We are so happy to have found such a nice, patient and experienced guide in Tuangtip. She always knew the story behind the story 👍. The tour itself was very relaxed and pleasant. We saw a lot that we would never have seen from the road. Our boat driver was very attentive and immediately slowed down as soon as we wanted to take photos. My personal highlight was the artist house. You can easily spend several hours there. The tour is a nice mix of popular sights and lesser known sides of Bangkok. We were able to see and experience a lot during the three-hour tour.Even better then expected

Tuangtip was really lovely! She was helpful, she checked in with us the day before and had already sent a map with the meeting point and how to get there from our hotel. Just such a beautiful guide and great knowledge. Totally recommend her! As we were a bigger group than usual I do think the price was quite expensive. That’s not the guide pricing it’s Withlocals. While in Bangkok we did two tours with Tuangtip and they were both exceptional. First we did the longtail and tuk tuk tour along the canals and around temples. Tuangtip was knowledgeable and informative and shared her love of Bangkok with us. We also did the railway market and floating market day trip. On both trips she went above and beyond what I would have expected from a tour guide. It really felt like a friend was showing us around. On the day trip we started early and she met us with breakfast in hand to eat on the way! She also bought my husband a gift as it was his birthday!! She took photos of us on both tours and sent them via WhatsApp after the tours ended. We couldn't recommend Tuangtip enough. Tia was amazing from the start. She meet us the end of our morning tour. She came with some snacks for the kids which was what was needed as they were losing steam from the heat. She easily was able to pivot our discussed itinerary to accommodate the kids and the heat. She is incredibly knowledgeable on the history of the Temples, Kings, and history of Bangkok. We wanted to hire her for more tours but she was booked and I can understand why. My kids (16 & 12) said she was the "best tour guide" of our entire trip in Thailand. I had a private tour with Tuangtip on Oct 18, 2024. I cannot that her enough for a wonderful experience. I unfortunately was late for our rendezvous, due to a problem with transit, but she was patient and understanding. She had our lengthy tour well planned out and had transportation arranged at various locations across this massive city (longboat, tuk tuk, river taxi). She seemed to have a deep knowledge of the city, the country and her Buddhist religion. She showed off her city with enthusiasm and flare and never tired of answering my questions. She was eager to have me try local cuisine and was understanding of my food allergies. I would definitely recommend a tour with Tuangtip to anyone. Canal Tour of Bangkok - highly recommend!

A long boat and tuk tuk were our modes of transport and the canals our roadway. All the destinations on the Hidden Gems tour were special and unique. Tuangtip, is a knowledgeable guide. The cruise went past several temples that Tuangtip described features and histories. We went past the reclining Buddha. We landed and visited one of the temples. Afterwards we strolled along the canal’s boardwalk of shops/residances. We saw the artists and their delightful creations. We stopped for a coffee and fed the fish. I would recommend Tuangtip. My husband and I had a great time with Tai! She was so nice and willing to answer all the questions we had (including how many temples are in Bangkok). We both learned so much about temples, the culture, and the food. I feel like we actually got to see a quieter side of Bangkok for most of our tour, which was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We also were able to be on a long tail boat by ourselves with just Tai and the captain, which really gave us time to take everything in on the canals. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a highlights tour that covers more of the actual local environment should book with Tai! Fun and Unique!

Or tour with Tuangtip was exceptional. Her manner, style and approach to taking visitors around her City was perfect for us. Her communications in advance of the tour were on point and we met her with ease. We then had an amazing trip around Ancient Bangkok. No hard sell, no visits to shops. She curated the tour to allow some craft time for our children which was appreciated. We saw a lot of things, but not too much - I'd say about the right amount. She left us once she had helped us order lunch and what I didn't expect was 69 photos in my WhatsApp to document the tour. A few yes, but she had taken loads of photos of us which was such a lovely touch as with a family of 4, someone is always taking the photos!! Don't hesitate to book with Tuangtip if her tour appeals. Our tour guide was very educated and knowledgeable of the area. The arrangements for the long boat and tuck tuk were very good and great fun. The temples we visited were quite small so if you wanted to see the larger ones maybe choose a different tour. The trip with Tuangtip was one of the best experiences we and especially the kids ever made in Bangkok. She showed us nice places away from the normal tourist pathways but still we were able to see the most famous places like the kings palace and the big temple. I only had one day to stay in Bangkok and wanted to get to experience some sights but also some 'must do' tourist things like canal ride, tub-tuk etc. Trip was exactly what I was looking for. Tuangtip was great fun to be with and obviously very knowledgeable of Thailand history, details in temples etc. We had lot of good discussion allowing me to understand more of local life and mindset of people. We had a fabulous tour with Tuangtip. I would highly recommend the tour for children as she knows activities that will keep them interested and gives information at the right level. My children, age 6 and 8y loved the artist house and feeding the giant fish that swim in the peaceful Khlongs of Bangkok. At the end Tuangtip took us to a delicious restaurant, helped us order and pointed us in the direction of the hotel. The food here was even more delicious than the food that we had on our food tour! We would not have missed our afternoon with Tangtuip for the world! We loved her enthusiasm and care. She had planned visits to temples but as we had already seen them, she replanned the tour, seamlessly. She showed us local life along the canals and peaceful temples away from the crowds. She taught us such a lot about Buddhist rituals. We could have spent many more hours listening to her and would have loved to book other visits but sadly we were leaving Thailand the next day. Tuangtip gave us an amazing morning tour of the old part of Bangkok where locals live on the waterways. What is unique about this tour is to travel on a private,beautiful long boat through the neighbourhood where Tuangtip lives , being greeted by her neighbours and friends. Whilst later part of the tour covers the big, tourist busy temples( Wat Arun) ,we were privileged to experience an amazing local community temple and be introduced to Buddhist traditions and practices all on our own. The temples are spectacular , the stories fascinating and we even got to place a roof tile with our family names that the monk will fit to part of the temple - we are there forever 😲 we will never forget feeding the protected fish coloured puffs off the longboat. Tour ended with a walk through Tuangtip's own market where we sampled street food and she gave my wife shopping tips 🤣 With a great personality gentle nature and local knowledge ,Tuangtip is the perfect Withlocal host . This is a tour you MUST TAKE in Bangkok 10*. Experience the REAL Bangkok

We loved our tour with Tuangtip! She was great conversing with adults as well as children, and made sure everyone was happy and entertained during the tour. The visit to the smaller community temple was a highlight, as we could visit a temple without being surrounded by a crowd of other tourists. This was just as beautiful as the bigger temples (which she also took us to) and our guide could take her time and explain everything at her leisure. The children had a blast and a highlight was feeding the fish in the canal! To end the tour, we were taken to a wonderful market and shown to a restaurant frequented by locals. The food was fabulous! One word: outstanding! From start to finish we had a great experience. The information upfront was very detailed so finding the meeting point was easy. The tour was adapted on the fly since we have already been to the temple. We went to the floating market instead by longtail boat where we ate local food, got to know some shop vendors and we were even invited to see how the famous "khanom sod sai" (coconut pudding in banana leaves) are made. We really enjoyed the tour, the insights and the different perspectives of Bankok and highly recommend it. Amazing insights on Bankok
