We loved our time with Tuangtip. She has a warm and engaging personality, and is also very organised. We felt hosted: everything was organised, she had paid for everything: boat, tuk tuk, fish food, turtle food. It was well coordinated and engaging for the kids. As we had seen a lot of temples, we asked not to visit Wat Arun, and she adjusted nicely by taking more time on the boat and in the artist village. We’ve booked the tuktuk-boat trip with our 11 year old daughter. I chatted with Tai to customize the trip a bit and share with her our interests and places we had already visited (it was our 3rd trip to Bangkok). It was very nice that she responded so fast to my messages. Tai provided us with a perfect customized trip. She surprised us with a craft workshop for our daughter (she loved it), feeding animals at the temple and she explained the Buddhist rituals in a way that was interesting for us and for my daughter. She was very good in making it interesting for both adults and kids. The visit to the local market was fun and she selected some great food snacks for us to try. We had a wonderful afternoon and loved the combination with the boat tour through the klongs. Tai’s English is very comprehensive which made talking to her easy. We booked the visit of the klongs with Tuangtip. What a wonderful experience! We had a Boat for ourselves. À family of four! Tuangtip is really local and as such very knowledgeable, replying to all questions and provisions lots of interesting and fun information. The visit to the Artist’s house is really nice, giving you an idea of the inside of the wooden houses. Cherry on the cake was that the girls could make bracelets (with loads of choice of beads). Our girls lived feeding the fish … at a spot where we were really the only ones with loads of fish. Tuangtip then arranged for an old style tuk-tuk trip. Tuangtip was very available also while we were preparing our holidays, which was really reassuring. I would recommend With Locals and will definitely use it again myself.What a wonderful experience

Tua was wonderful. We managed to get ourselves lost when we were going to meet her and she came and found us and then arranged transport to get us to our original tour starting point. She added wonderful additional touches such as feeding the fish in the long tail boat. Lots of additional knowledge making the trip personal, talking about traditional beliefs and stories. Aswell as throwing in knowledge questions and treat prizes for the kids. All with a smile. She gave advise on further plans we had to make our trip easier and letting us know little tips to entertain the kids (for free). Seeing old Bankok along the canal was beautiful and very much worth while. A real contrast to the new one and beautiful and peaceful. Would highly recommend and certainly will use again if we come back to Bangkok. Fabulous, kind, knowledgable

Sehr schöne Tour durch Thonburi, bei der man das Leben der Menschen sehen kann. Man hält an verschiedenen Punkten und kann aussteigen und die Gegend erkunden. Neben Orten, die man als Tourist nie besucht hatte, ist auch der Wat Arun dabei und ein interessanter lokale Markt. Tuangtip ist eine sehr freundliche Person, die auch sehr viel Interesse daran hat, den Besuchern die thailändische Kultur zu erklären. We had a very authentic an interesting tour visiting the canals in Tonburi by private longboat, visiting both local temples and a great workshop for kids with painting, making charms etc. Our kids loved that part. And riding along the canals and hearing the history and every day stories of local life was a unique experience that we couldn’t have found otherwise.. We also visited the very popular Way Arun, and again our guide made it a unique and special experience telling us insiders stories from everyday Thai life. We were a family of 5, kids aged 6-14 and our guide managed to make it a great experience for everybody.. We highly recommend this unique experience for everybody. We are so happy to have found such a nice, patient and experienced guide in Tuangtip. She always knew the story behind the story 👍. The tour itself was very relaxed and pleasant. We saw a lot that we would never have seen from the road. Our boat driver was very attentive and immediately slowed down as soon as we wanted to take photos. My personal highlight was the artist house. You can easily spend several hours there. The tour is a nice mix of popular sights and lesser known sides of Bangkok. Tuangtip was really lovely! She was helpful, she checked in with us the day before and had already sent a map with the meeting point and how to get there from our hotel. Just such a beautiful guide and great knowledge. Totally recommend her! As we were a bigger group than usual I do think the price was quite expensive. That’s not the guide pricing it’s Withlocals. While in Bangkok we did two tours with Tuangtip and they were both exceptional. First we did the longtail and tuk tuk tour along the canals and around temples. Tuangtip was knowledgeable and informative and shared her love of Bangkok with us. We also did the railway market and floating market day trip. On both trips she went above and beyond what I would have expected from a tour guide. It really felt like a friend was showing us around. On the day trip we started early and she met us with breakfast in hand to eat on the way! She also bought my husband a gift as it was his birthday!! She took photos of us on both tours and sent them via WhatsApp after the tours ended. We couldn't recommend Tuangtip enough. Tia was amazing from the start. She meet us the end of our morning tour. She came with some snacks for the kids which was what was needed as they were losing steam from the heat. She easily was able to pivot our discussed itinerary to accommodate the kids and the heat. She is incredibly knowledgeable on the history of the Temples, Kings, and history of Bangkok. We wanted to hire her for more tours but she was booked and I can understand why. My kids (16 & 12) said she was the "best tour guide" of our entire trip in Thailand. I had a private tour with Tuangtip on Oct 18, 2024. I cannot that her enough for a wonderful experience. I unfortunately was late for our rendezvous, due to a problem with transit, but she was patient and understanding. She had our lengthy tour well planned out and had transportation arranged at various locations across this massive city (longboat, tuk tuk, river taxi). She seemed to have a deep knowledge of the city, the country and her Buddhist religion. She showed off her city with enthusiasm and flare and never tired of answering my questions. She was eager to have me try local cuisine and was understanding of my food allergies. I would definitely recommend a tour with Tuangtip to anyone. Canal Tour of Bangkok - highly recommend!

Tuangtip, is a knowledgeable guide. The cruise went past several temples that Tuangtip described features and histories. We went past the reclining Buddha. We landed and visited one of the temples. Afterwards we strolled along the canal’s boardwalk of shops/residances. We saw the artists and their delightful creations. We stopped for a coffee and fed the fish. I would recommend Tuangtip. My husband and I had a great time with Tai! She was so nice and willing to answer all the questions we had (including how many temples are in Bangkok). We both learned so much about temples, the culture, and the food. I feel like we actually got to see a quieter side of Bangkok for most of our tour, which was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We also were able to be on a long tail boat by ourselves with just Tai and the captain, which really gave us time to take everything in on the canals. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a highlights tour that covers more of the actual local environment should book with Tai! Fun and Unique!

Or tour with Tuangtip was exceptional. Her manner, style and approach to taking visitors around her City was perfect for us. Her communications in advance of the tour were on point and we met her with ease. We then had an amazing trip around Ancient Bangkok. No hard sell, no visits to shops. She curated the tour to allow some craft time for our children which was appreciated. We saw a lot of things, but not too much - I'd say about the right amount. She left us once she had helped us order lunch and what I didn't expect was 69 photos in my WhatsApp to document the tour. A few yes, but she had taken loads of photos of us which was such a lovely touch as with a family of 4, someone is always taking the photos!! Don't hesitate to book with Tuangtip if her tour appeals.
