1. Meeting point

   You will be picked up anywhere in Bangkok. Your local host will contact you regarding the exact pickup point.

2. Itinerary

   This is what our experience could look like, but it’s not set in stone! Once you book, you can chat directly with your host to make small tweaks to suit your preferences.

3. 6.00

   -Mon.-Thurs. is the Maeklong Market and Damdoen -Saduak Floating Market. If you wish to take the train that passes through the vender food stand, we will pick you up at the hotel by 6 a.m. sharp and then head to the other province to take the train to Maeklong. If you are late, we won't be able to catch the train. If you cannot wake up early, we will start the tour at 8.30 a.m.(without taking the train that passes through the Maeklong market).

4. 8.30

   Fri.-Sun. is for the Maeklong & Amphawa Floating Market(UNESCO heritage canal village)Tour. If you wish to take the train that passes through the vender food stand at Maeklong we will pick you up at the hotel by 8.30 a.m. sharp! If you don't want to take the train, we will pick you up by 9.00 a.m. Fri.-Sun. is for the Maeklong & Amphawa Floating Market(UNESCO heritage canal village)Tour. If you wish to take the train that passes through the vender food stand at Maeklong we will pick you up at the hotel by 8.30 a.m. sharp! If you don't want to take the train, we will pick you up by 9.00 a.m.

5. Visit Damnoen Saduak or Amphawa

   After visiting the Maeklong, we will head to Amphawa or Damnern to start visiting the village and take a local boat tour along the river.

6. 12.00:

   Lunch break at the local restaurant to taste the traditional Thai food :)

7. 1 hour before the end of the tour

   1 hour before the end of the tour, we will head back to Bangkok and drop you off at the hotel. This tour is around 8 hours......Pick up at 6.00 a.m. drop off at 14.00 p.m......Pick up at 9.00 a.m. drop off at 17.00 p.m.

8. *Please Note*

   A boat tour is not included, so if you want to take a private boat tour at the local floating market, you simply can pay directly to a boat driver. At Amphawa it will cost only 500 thb(16$) for an engine boat with 10 seats. At Damnern Saduak will cost only 1,200thb(40$) for a paddle boat with 6 seats.

   You simply can buy the train ticket to Maeklong at the station and it's around 10-25 baht/person.

Cannot recommend Miss Tai strongly enough, she was an excellent guide for the day. We wanted to see the floating markets and the famous train market and experiece some authentic culture and they didn't disappoint!. Miss Tai was knowledgeable about the places to buy things from, took us on a private paddle boat tour. Lunch at the local canteen wad great. Had great local breakfast and enjoyed the train experience. Seeing the markets was good but a bit touristy. Then went to floating market. Wa great to take my kids to see this. Did stop at coconut place - best one I have ever tasted. Think they overcharged me for the goods through!! But overall, fantastic trip. Would recommend. It wa switch Meiwo not chef Jeffy. We had such a wonderful experience on the Bangkok's Unique UNESCO Heritage Floating & Train Markets Private Tour. When I was putting together our itinerary I saw this tour and how highly it was rated and wanted to make a reservation. I stalled and by the time I got to it, the tours for our date were gone. I emailed Chef Jekky and she was able to find a guide and create a tour for us. That alone is outstanding customer service. A picture of our host was sent so we would know who to look for. Our host, Peaow (sorry on the spelling) was on time and very friendly. She explained the tour and was available to answer all of our questions. Everything worked wonderfully. The markets were amazing. I would highly suggest riding the train from the beginning like we did because by the time it got to the market, the train was packed and there was only standing room and no AC. Our only wish was for more time to explore the markets, but we understood the value of getting to all the spots on the list. We never really felt rushed at all. We saw other tours that had lots of people in their groups and ours was only three....so nice! Please know that traffic in the Bangkok area can be excruciating!! We left our last market around 4pm or just short of, and didn't get back to Bangkok until about 6:40pm. We almost missed an appointment. Absolutely no fault of the tour and the team, just keep it in mind. Make this an all-day event, or don't plan special moments expecting to be back right on time.Wonderful Experience!

First day Satang navigated us through the Grand Palace , wat Pho and Wat Arun. She then took us to a local market down the river where we tried delicious new fruits and foods. She was helpful, knowledgeable and just all around adorable. Next day Meaw took us to the floating market, the railway market, the fish market and the most delicious restaurant. All on the outskirts of Bangkok. She was full of knowledge and bubbly energy. Her tips and local understanding made the tour even more fascinating. I visited the famous train market and floating market outside of Bangkok and had a great day with Meow! She’s very experienced and has a great sense of humor. She also knows all the best ins and outs of the markets to avoid other tourists! Meaw was WONDERFUL!!!! I highly recommend this store. You really need a local to bring you far out on the train where there are no tourists. My guide knew exactly where to go!!! We booked the train market and floating markets tour and had Meow as our tour guide. She was fantastic and so knowledgeable. The day was planned brilliantly and we all had a great time. The train market was amazing! She took us to a locals bar where we had some great noodles for only 15 Thai Baht!! We would never have even tried them on our own! She ordered them for us as we didn’t know what to order!😀 We would highly recommend her. We also did a night food market tour with the other company she works for ‘Thai Taste Tours’ which was fantastic too. We had Noom take us around and tasted lots of things we would never have tasted if we had been on our own. We also went to a cool sky bar! Both tours were a complete success! Thank you so much to Meow and Noom for helping us to learn so much about Thailand, try new things and make super memories we will cherish forever! Super day out!

We contacted Jekky but she could not do the Train Market/Water Market tour on the day we had available. She set it up for someone else to do the tour. However, third person named Luna showed up. While she was a nice person it was clear from the beginning that she was not a tour guide. She provided very little info ... about anything related to the tour or Thailand unless we asked specific question. And even then, she could not answer most of our questions. We spent about 5 of our 8 hour tour driving with very little interaction with Luna. For the money, I expected betterDisappointed

After having been to Bangkok many times and looking for something a bit different we decided to book a tour with Jekky. I’m so glad we did it was like spending the day with an old friend. We went to Amphawa to the floating market, took in a boat ride and then to the train market. Jekky understood the fact we’d been to Thailand many times however still managed to surprise us with many things we’d not seen before, more importantly things we hadn’t tasted before. Jekky is a really great guide and fulfilled all our ideas and expectations. She had a lot of interesting informations and stories, letting us try a lot of specialities and showing the most amazing places. During our tour she showed us much more fantastic places like some Buddhist temples and we made some very enriching experiences. She's a very kind and likeable person and it's really fun to talk together, personally, direct, open minded - it was a really great day we absolutely enjoyed. One thing really has to be mentioned: She's an absolute Pro! In the night before our trip her house was flooded because of a huge thunderstorm - but she really made the trip with us instead of canceling it (we hope, there wasn't to much damage, Jekky). Our family just finished the floating market and train market tour with Jekky. It was a great experience. Jekky speaks English well. Her passion and love for the Buddhist culture is contagious as well as she will introduce you to Thai way of life including opportunity for blessings with the monks. We went to a famous Thai wat where the tree had over grown the wat and learned the history. We visited the Awaphuhi (spelling may be wrong) floating market. Since she is also a chef, she introduced us to her favorite dishes and restaurants. The boat noodles were the best that we have had in BAngkok. We went to the train market to see how the Thai's sell their goods, how the goods are moved just before the train arrives at 11:10 am and then resumes. We have 5 teenagers between the ages of 14 and 20 so keeping them entertained is not easy. They loved the tour. I can't imagine someone could go wrong with any tour with Jekky. Jekky was an incredible host. She was on time time and met us at our hotel. From there she took us to show us the real side of Thai culture and thoroughly explained to us things we would have not gotten from a regular tour. After being picked up by Jekky and our Driver Mike in the morning we travelled out to the railway market. Jekky really new her stuff and loved to try foods as we walked round (make sure you go on an empty stomach as you will be eating all day). After this we travelled by tuk tuk to the floating market (more eating ) and from there we travelled by boat to visit the various temples on route up the river. Our guide was lovely, friendly, smart and it was a pleasure to spend the visit with her ! She gave good explanations and good tips about the monuments we visited. It was great to be with her. 2 points to improve : - Nevertheless, it was not necessary to take us to the mall at the end.. we found it was not interesting… we would have preferred to visit a more typical and inspiring place in Bangkok. - considering the high price we paid, we would have appreciated to be driven back to our hotel… A part from those 2 points, we really enjoyed our day visit…! The trip was fun and smooth. Although the guide changed last minute, our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. The train market and the floating market are amazing in themselves, but the infrastructure is rough. Having a guide made all the difference and we could enjoy the place without worrying. Definitely this tour covers must see places in Bangkok. However, a 6h tour should not end after 4.5h. And it should not end that far off from other interesting places, even though the market it ends on was worth a visit. Must see places, but improvable tour

Our guide was Pam and she was really great. We were in very capable hands and everything went very smoothly. This was one of Pam's first tours so the more time we spent with her, the more comfortable she became and we felt like friends by the end of the tour.
