Eros was amazing, he is extremely knowledgeable and has a thorough grasp of the complicated history but delivered the stories in a straightforward and respectful way. Eros is very attentive and engaging even few days before the tour. He kindly pre reminded me with clothing option due to weather condition. He was already at the meeting point before the agreed time. We found in Eros the perfect guide in Berlin! My sister and I were with our mother who is in a electric wheelchair. Eros took everything in very kind consideration and she too had a wonderful experience. He has interesting stories and tells them with lots energy, persuasion and sometimes a touch of humor! Eros was punctual and even sent an arial meeting place map and description of himself which was very helpful He had carefully planned and prepared a catered a special tour specific to our WWII interest and schedule. The start and end point matched our schedule with perfect precision. He was courteous to ask if he was walking too fast and always listened to our questions and never rushed us. He provide useful knowledge of scheduling future visits with museums. My husband and I have lived in Berlin three years, and we treated his parents to a tour on their first visit to the city. I would highly recommend Eros for both first-timers, as well as residents, who want a deepened understanding and appreciation of Berlin history! Eros was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging; he hit all of the major sites in Mitte on a compact tour, which was absolutely *packed* with information. He was always able to answer questions, and he also did a great job looking out for family members who couldn't walk as much, finding spots to sit and rest along the way. I was amazed at how much we saw and learned in such a short amount of time; it was honestly a much better experience than the 3.5 hour walking tour I had previously taken, which felt a bit long, slow, and bloated by the end. My girlfriend and I booked a tour 90 minute tour in Berlin a few days before going, thinking that it would be a classic group tour. Instead, it was only the two of us and the guide, Eros. He was an excellent, convincing, factual, and including story teller. He was a fluent English speaker and very aware of his audience in that he continuously made sure to ask if we had any questions or comments. Also, he was very knowledgable and clearly had a massive passion for German and International history. He was able to answer all of our questions no matter of they related to his stories or completely off-topic. Relationally, he made sure to underline whether his answers were his own opinion, rumors, speculations, or proven facts, which made the tour more credible and rich in perspectives. I highly recommend the "Kickstart Berlin in 90 minutes" tour - and especially with Eros as the tour guide. He even went over time just out of interest. We’ve done a couple of Withlocals tours and it’s clear that great hosts are the key. We were extremely fortunate last night!!! Our host, Eros, clearly shares our passion for finding the off the beaten path speakeasy and arranged a fantastic experience for us. He was extremely well educated on the topic as well as many other subjects which made for very engaging conversation. He was clear in his communications leading up to the tour and was patiently waiting for us as we arrived almost 10 minutes late!!! My 2 friends and I, did a tour with Eros last November and we couldn't be more happy !
