Fantastic private walking tour of Madrid with Patricia. Patricia was very flexible in tailoring the tour to our interests. Our family did the tour after arriving in Madrid from an overnight flight. It was a cold morning and the kids were exhausted. Patricia was great with keeping them engaged. We did end our tour a little earlier than planned just because the kids were fading. We enjoy learning about history, culture, architecture, and traditions. Patricia taught us quite a bit about all of it. As a local, she knows Madrid very well. For example, she brought us to certain stores on the Gran Via to highlight the historic interior elements — which was fascinating. She explained the significance of several monuments that we would have otherwise missed. She pointed out great places to eat — many of which we visited after the tour, especially the pastry shops. Honestly, not only was this the most in depth and interesting tour we have taken, but Patricia is also one of the kindest, most knowledgeable, flexible and welcoming person! Our family had a wonderful experience on our walking tour of Madrid with our tour guide, Patricia. We only had one day in Madrid and had done no home work prior to arrival. She was able to accommodate us with very little notice. We met at 9:30 AM and covered all the highlights in 2.5 hours and provided us with a local treat. We saw historical sites and learned a great deal about Madrid’s history and the role of religion but at the same time learned modern day fun facts. When the tour was over we were a much better equipped to enjoy our surroundings. I’m so glad we were able to connect with her. Highly Recommend Patricia.

Our private tour of Madrid was very eventful. It was a rainy day but it did not matter because Patricia was so engrossing that the rain became a banal detail. The tour that she gave us had history, gastronomy, and hilarity. Her bio said that she is a journalist and it shines in the way she presented her facts and figures. It wasn’t just trivial facts, her well researched stories were enthralling and captivated us for the three hour tour that went over to become a three and a half tour because we kept asking questions and she kept answering everyone of them. She has the perfect temperament to deal with us—first timers in Madrid, and and a sense of humor laced with intellect. After the tour, she presented us with gifts that are not necessary, but we can tell that is is her giving nature not only seen through her gifts but also the gift of her knowledge and love of Madrid that she imparted on us. We had the best introduction to Madrid with Paritica's tour. She is very sweet and sincere as well as knowledgeable of history, culture, and religion. She made the 3 hour tour fun and enjoyable for us. We learned a lot of things about Madrid that would not have been possible if we explored the city on our own in our short 2 day layover visit. We enjoyed Patricia's company and her extensive knowledge of the city and local customs. She recommended us many good restaurants during the tour including some great tapas bars in Madrid which we ended up going to. With her recommendation, we also visited Toledo on our second day, which was worth it. We got so much more from this tour than we expected. Our host/ guide Patricia was the best!!! There was excellent communication before the meeting where we asked for a flavour of Madrid tour. Patricia gave us an insight into the history of Madrid, royal history, good kings, bad kings, comparisons with New York etc... We are shown a selection of restaurants and good places to eat including the oldest restaurant in the world. She also talked about Toledo and its importance in the sword making industry. We visited several places of importance in the 2.5 hour tour after which she gave suggestions for further visits.
