Great tour with Claudio, who adapted the tour to our time constraints. We did a good mix of famous locations and less known ones, which was perfect for our team, since some of us already knew Rome. It was also a good mix in terms of information about the city and pure biking. Sometimes, the guide is spending too much time talking about a place, while we want to see as many different places as possible. Nous avons eu une superbe excursion avec Claudio. Il nous a fait voir des petits trésors cachés de Rome ce qui est toujours apprécié lors d’une première fois dans une ville. Il nous a aussi fait voir les monuments historiques d’une autre façon. Ses explications étaient très intéressantes et pertinentes, il ne donne pas l’impression de réciter un livre d’histoire, au contraire! Le tour a dépassé nos attentes! We had a great day with Claudio who took us on quite the adventure through Rome at a reasonable pace. We were worried about the hills but managed them well. We decided the cycle back would be too much though and took the bikes back on the metro instead which I would highly recommend as you can spend lots more time in the city then. A fab day with a "few" hills!

No words can capture how much fun this experience was and how amazing, funny, and cool Claudio is but I will try my best! We biked through the city like we lived there all of our lives and wow! Not only was it fun but it was exhilarating. Claudio showed us everything there was to see, from the Sacred Mountain to Galleria Borghese. Everything was BEAUTIFUL! We drank fresh water from the reserves and had DELICIOUS gelato in the city center. He took beautiful pictures of us and told us local history at every turn. We enjoyed ourselves IMMENSELY 😍🤩. Claudio is an expert biker but I promise you can keep up with him and you will want to😊 he is very encouraging and patient. I 10/10 would recommend this experience! Als je houdt van fietsen en de omgeving er niet toe doet dan is dit vast een leuke ervaring. Maar het startpunt ligt ongeveer drie kwartier fietsen buiten het centrum, een buitenwijk. De fietsen waarmee dat moet gebeuren zijn niet van de kwaliteit die je van een professionele organisatie zou verwachten. Waarschijnlijk bij elkaar geraapt via Marktplaats of E-Bay. Claudio is een aardige jongen die er alles aan doet om het naar je zin te maken maar het gidsen en vertellen over de stad deed hij zeer beperkt. De kennis is er wel maar hij is eerder terughoudend dan een pro actief. Na drie uur fietsen was het wel genoeg. Buitenwijk

Bei der Tour mit Claudio lernt man Rom von einer ganz anderen Seite kennen. Treffpunkt ist ein wenig außerhalb vom Zentrum, aber der Weg dorthin lohnt sich. Von dort aus startet man die Tour und fährt durch drei wundervolle Parks mit kleinen Überraschungen :) danach ging’s zu einem tollen Aussichtspunkt und danach ins Zentrum. Wir haben Claudio gebeten, uns in ein typisches Restaurant zu begleiten, wo er gerne essen geht und ja, was soll ich sagen, es war fantastisch. Weg von den Touristen, typische Trattoria mit ausgezeichneter Pasta und Hauswein! Danach ging’s für uns wieder zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Wir waren rund 30 km unterwegs und haben viel von Rom und Umgebung gesehen. Claudio nahm immer Rücksicht auf unser Tempo! Ein gelungener Tag! Perfekter Tag in Rom

Our bike tour with Claudio was really memorable and enjoyable. My husband and I wanted to see Rome from a different perspective, while taking in some of the major sights of the city. Claudio gave us time to get used to our bikes, riding round the parks and green spaces of the city before embarking on the more challenging routes around town. This was really fun and Claudio took on board all the places we wanted to visit, leading us round myriad back streets as well as through busy thoroughfares, but all the while checking we were doing fine and had kept up! We stopped for a quick pizza break at lunch and continued on through the streets - I'm sure we were cycling for a lot longer than was stated, but we were really enjoying ourselves (and Claudio kindly avoided some hills for me). Throughout our ride, Claudio stopped from time to time at key attractions to pass on interesting facts and useful information, as well as giving us an insight into what it is like to be a resident of Rome. We had a great day cycling from Claudio’s apartment in the suburbs of Rome ( we had to take a taxi there & back as we were staying near the Collesium ), along the river,( it was lovely to experience the wonderful rural parts of Rome) & into the city where he was very knowledgeable about the history. Met de fiets doorheen Rome... wat een avontuur! Na een korte kennismaking zijn we vertrokken voor een 4 uur durende ontdekkingsreis doorheen Rome. We vertrokken langs de zijde van een kanaal langs plekken waar je als gemiddelde toerist waarschijnlijk niet vlug zal komen en baande ons een weg langs smalle paden, bruggen en parken naar de villa Borghese... een verademing aan groen... en plek voor geliefden, families, kinderen... overal werden we voorzien van de nodige uitleg en konden we terecht met onze vragen... Vervolgens reden we verder naar onze echte kennismaking met de stad Rome om een plek waar je zo goed als de hele stad kan overschouwen... geweldig moment!! Vervolgens starte ons avontuur doorheen een weergaloze stad... piazza del popolo...het colloseum...fonteinen...het palatino...en nog zoveel meer... voor onze terugrit sloten we onze 28km! Fietstocht af in het brouwerijhuis van Peroni voor een lekker biertje... Een atypische kennismaking met een stad die ons hart heeft gestolen! Proficiat Claudio! De perfecte start...

We took riverside paths and short cuts through parks and saw places in Rome we would never have seen without Claudio. My friend and I had a wonderful time with Claudio! He listened to what we wanted to see; showed us an amazing view; took us out of and into the hustle and bustle of Rome in a perfect way. He helped lead us through some busy sections of the city and also took us through a beautiful section of a central Roman park. The only suggestion I would make would be to get some seat covers for the bikes. I am on a bike fairly regularly, but the seats left us sore for a couple of days after the ride. Fantastic Tour

My friend and I did this bike tour with Claudio, and it definitely was one of the highlights, of my entire time in Rome. During the 4 hr bike ride, we saw so much! We rode through parks, along trails, through Piazzas, through the streets of Rome, and stopped at tourist attractions like the Pantheon, to take some pics. Claudio was nice enough to provide us with water bottles at the start of the tour (which you'll need, it's a workout!), and also took us to an amazing coffee shop, where we stopped for coffee/Espresso. We also stopped for lunch, at the original Peroni Brewery/restaurant. Claudio was kind, knowledgeable, and super laid back. It really was a pleasure spending half of our day with him. By the time our tour was done, Claudio had become our friend. I highly recommend this tour. It's a great way to see the city, with the nicest Tour Guide :)The BEST Bike Tour in Rome!

And we found it. When we arrived the cab driver was a bit concerned to leave us in a quasi industrial part of town on a Sunday afternoon, but Claudio arrived promptly with the bikes. Claudio was warm, bright and very personable, and we headed out on mostly bike paths towards centro. We were staying in centro, and I had been out and about, so I suggested going into the center of town would not be too much fun because it was so crowded. Claudio was happy to adjust and we headed to the Borghese Gardens instead. The bikes were ok but could have been better equipped with a basket, bottle holder, and kickstand, but they rode well enough. The day got away from us a bit and we headed back to his shop as it was getting dark, and the path was closed, so we had a bit of andevture going back - it was all fine, but it could have been a little better planned. If you are looking for a truly off the beaten path view of Rome with a great guy, Claudio is your guy!We were looking for off the beaten path

Claudio is a guy with a lot of different skills and experiences. That is probably the reason why he is a very pleasant guide for a personal sightseeing trip around Rome. We are a couple from Denmark that decided that we do not want to have a sightseeing with a large group - we prefer to have a more personal touch with more in depth talk. Also the tour can be more personalized with respect to route as well as content. And Claudio fulfilled our expectations with bravura. The bikes what in good condition for a city trip. Biking in Rome is an excellent option. It is very warm in Rome in July and therefore biking at a adequate speed is a nice experience since the wind cool you down. Biking in Rome is nice because you can cover more space and quite exciting because you see Rome in a different view. 3 hours seems as a perfect length. Claudio is knowledgeable guy - and he ended up teaching us danish history! Ooops - we need to work on that... :-) Thank you very much for your trip and good luck with your other plans for great tourist tours and experiences.
