Such a great day with Tini and her driver. Tini made the day very special both in terms of sharing her extensive knowledge of the sites, and as well, helping us better understand life in Java and Yogyakarta specifically. Fun to be with, she also made an excellent selection for a local late lunch stop. On top of that she made sure our every needs were met - a stop at a beautiful batik shop? No problem. It was a full day indeed and the temples were made to come live by Tini's stories of tales they told or had been handed down generation to generation. We went on a day trip with Tini and her driver to Prambanan in the morning Borobudur in the afternoon. Communication in the booking process went smoothly. The tour was a fantastic experience. We took a one-day tour to Borobudur and Prambanan temples with Tini. She was friendly and easy to talk to. She picked us up at Yogyakarta airport and dropped us off at our hotel afterward. Adjusting the pickup time was simple. Tini shared a lot of interesting facts about the temples and Indonesia. We had a nice lunch at a local restaurant. The temples were simply incredible. Tini and her driver took us to Prambanan and Borobudur. At our request we stopped for batik ( beautifull shop) and had lunch at local Panang restaurant. Food was delicious! Tini is very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. She used to be a teacher. We highly reommend her for your day trip, she is very flexibel in creating the perfect day. We had a great experience with Tini and Bien. Tini answered my questions before our trip but unfortunately hurt her knee. So Bien collected us with his driver and we spent an unforgettable day touring the temples. He was knowledgeable, easygoing , very professional and had good English. We learnt so much about life in Indonesia as well as the history of the temples. Lunch in Pramabanan was delicious and was at an out of the way location. We visited Prambanan Temple and the smaller temples next to it. Tini was an excellent guide, as she is very knowledgeable. After that we moved to Borobudur Temple, just before entering it we stoped at Mendut Monastery were she explained the story pictured in Borobudur as she could not enter with us (by the temple policy) which really helped while the visit. In general Tini was very friendly and open to questions. She explained both temples in details and her explanations were very clear. I highly recommend Tini to other tourists looking to have an authentic experience in Yogyakarta’s temples with a more in depth explanation of themAmazing day!

Tini is a great guide and made our day in Yogya truly memorable. Before we booked the trip, she helped us figure out how to see Prambanan and Borobudur in one day, and gave us advice on which flights to book based on our plan for the day. It was jam-packed and she and her driver made sure we saw everything. She gave us great insight into both of the sites, their history and restoration. She also helped us navigate the historic sites, and understand why so many people were staring at us. What an action packed trip to Borobudur and Prambanan with the excellent Tini and a very good and safe driver! I did inform Tini that I am a ‘very speedy’ tourist at the sites. What this meant was that lots of the history provided, not only on the temples, but a wide range of topics covering Indonesian history were discussed in the ride to the sites. Our tour with Tini was very good. To start with, we couldn't get to one of the temples as its closed on Mondays and she offered to spit the tour into two days, which allowed us to see them both. My wife and I spent a day with Tini to visit Prambanan and Borobadur in the first week of July 2022. It was out first experience with 'withlocal'. Tini was exceptional as our cultural guide to these sites and to Java as we conversed about the people, arts, festivals, foods/fruits and visit-worthy sites in the Java island. Tini ensured we had enough time to visit the sites, take pictures and also to make an impromptu plan to visit the house of a puppet artist. Surantini turned out very knowledgeable about the temples we visited but also any other trip related questions we had. What impressed us most however was her grace, friendliness and her unreserved willingness to go the extra mile. Throughout our long 11 hour day, I never saw her check the time. Her patience was endless. We were never hurried. Though this must have been the umptieth time she guided this tour there was never even a hint of routine.
