We did not know what to expect with a food tour, and we were thoroughly delighted with our day with Patrick. Open to anything, we let Patrick control the itinerary. He was extremely organized as he walked us through town, sharing city history as we walked between food tastings. Patrick has great passion for history, and he was so engaging throughout our tour. Everything we consumed was delicious, and we apprecaiated it even more for the background, history and relevance Patrick provided. Highly recommend the experience, and even more highly recommend Patrick as your guide. Wij zijn ons weekend in Brugge gestart met een tour met Lavigna. Dit was super want door de rondleiding ”kenden” we direcht al een aantal punten in de stad voor de rest van het weekend. Lavigna vertelt vlot en weet veel leuke feitjes over Brugge; je komt dankzij haar op plaatsen waar je normaal niet zo snel komt. Ze sloot direct goed aan op onze groep wat super fijn was. Ik heb zo hard genoten van de toer.. het was leerrijk en super tof. Heel leuk dat er nog mensen zijn die de kennis en geschiedenis meedragen en doorgeven. Artur was a fantastic tour guide. We only had 1/2 a day and one night in Bruges and so we wanted to get the most out of it. Artur knocked it out of the park for us. Before he even met up with us, he’d sent us a list of things we could do with before the tour to maximize time. Then his tour took us through the highlights and gems of Brugge and we felt like we knew the city by the end. He also showed us his favorite spots and helped us avoid the more touristy places. We were able to buy some chocolates and gifts that were great value compared to other places. After the tour, he recommended a few places including an awesome little bar that serves their own beer (awesome) that we would never have found on our own. We actually walked past it and had to double back to find the alleyway leading to the entrance. All in all Bruges has been our favorite place on our trip and Artur is a big part of that. Best of Bruges!

This is overdue. My husband and I did this walking tour the afternoon of our arrival to Bruges in late Sept. Artur contacted me before arriving to request moving the tour to a bit later to avoid the "cruise line" tourists. We are happy we did. The walk was easy and filled with great information and a bit of fun. Also, it helped us get a lay of the land, so we could explore and tourn the next day on our own. We recently took a food tour in Bruges, but overall, it was disappointing. While we enjoyed tasting chocolates, waffles, beers, fries, and Flemish stew, the portions were small, and we expected more food for the price. Our guide was wonderful—friendly and knowledgeable, offering some fantastic local recommendations that added to our experience. However, the lack of sufficient samples left us feeling unsatisfied. We connected with Artur via Withlocals chat prior to our tour, and he gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do before we met up with him. It was Voting Day in Bruges, which it turns out led to early closing of several spots Artur had hoped to take us; but since he gave us suggestions earlier in the day, we were able to get to those anyway (they were great!); then we got to a few possibly lesser known, but really fun, local pubs with Artur. Several beers that were "only poured in this location." It was an excellent tour, and Artur was great fun to spend time with. He knows his beers and conveys, as well, his love of Bruges.
