We had an amazing tour with Patrick! He is very knowledgeable, warm, engaging, great with our kids (ages 8, 10, 14 and 16) and obviously loves his beautiful city. I feel like we definitely saw the highlights and some hidden gems and learned a lot of history. He had great recommendations/suggestions as well. Artur was a fantastic tour guide. We only had 1/2 a day and one night in Bruges and so we wanted to get the most out of it. Artur knocked it out of the park for us. Before he even met up with us, he’d sent us a list of things we could do with before the tour to maximize time. Then his tour took us through the highlights and gems of Brugge and we felt like we knew the city by the end. He also showed us his favorite spots and helped us avoid the more touristy places. We were able to buy some chocolates and gifts that were great value compared to other places. After the tour, he recommended a few places including an awesome little bar that serves their own beer (awesome) that we would never have found on our own. We actually walked past it and had to double back to find the alleyway leading to the entrance. All in all Bruges has been our favorite place on our trip and Artur is a big part of that. Best of Bruges!

Arthur is a charming guide that entertained us with knowledge about the town. He seemed to know many people along our tour and made us feel like we were with a friend. Amazing tour by Lavigna. She is very knowledgeable, took us to all the main historic sites. Some great authentic chocolate shops ( not all the shops you see are like this).

This is overdue. My husband and I did this walking tour the afternoon of our arrival to Bruges in late Sept. Artur contacted me before arriving to request moving the tour to a bit later to avoid the "cruise line" tourists. We are happy we did. The walk was easy and filled with great information and a bit of fun. Also, it helped us get a lay of the land, so we could explore and tourn the next day on our own. This was the first time we did a "private" tour. We are all-in for future travel.

We recently took a food tour in Bruges, but overall, it was disappointing. While we enjoyed tasting chocolates, waffles, beers, fries, and Flemish stew, the portions were small, and we expected more food for the price. Our guide was wonderful—friendly and knowledgeable, offering some fantastic local recommendations that added to our experience. However, the lack of sufficient samples left us feeling unsatisfied. For the price we paid, we anticipated a more fulfilling experience, so despite our guide’s efforts, the tour fell short of our expectations.Very nice guide, not as much food

We connected with Artur via Withlocals chat prior to our tour, and he gave us wonderful recommendations for things to do before we met up with him. It was Voting Day in Bruges, which it turns out led to early closing of several spots Artur had hoped to take us; but since he gave us suggestions earlier in the day, we were able to get to those anyway (they were great!); then we got to a few possibly lesser known, but really fun, local pubs with Artur. Several beers that were "only poured in this location." It was an excellent tour, and Artur was great fun to spend time with. He knows his beers and conveys, as well, his love of Bruges. Artur, our guide, was friendly, engaging, and conscientious. He is a great storyteller who knows Bruges well. We had Artur guide our family around Brugge for a few hours. The way in which he engaged with us and the history of the city was outstanding!! He told jokes and engaged all of us in the stories of the tour. We also had a person who had mobility issues and he was able to move slowly and build in rest areas that tied in with the tour. I can not recommend Artur enough as a guide. We wished all the guides we had on our trip were as good as he is.Artur is magnificent!!!

Artur was a wonderful guide for our group of 8 (including kids 7-12). His storytelling and enthusiasm for the city was fantastic. It was also perfect to have this tour at the beginning of our stay and we now have context and recommendations for the rest of our time.

We had Artur as our guide for our 3 hour tasting tour. He was fabulous and very knowledgeable about Brugge, the country and everything else in between. Very good at picking the spots that we would enjoy. Waffle stop was fabulous and we went back the next day for breakfast. Belgium Fries / Stew was a fabulous very rich gal our end to the tour. We stopped at a brewery that was fabulous and overlooked the market. He showed us a sculpture on a building that he said was suppose to be a bear, but looked like a cat. Lol. Again, I would reccomend Artur as a guide and also this tour for anyone. Great experience and guide

Artur was an excellent guide with great local history knowledge, storytelling capability and relationship with vendors.
We have been on many food tours, and found that Arthur's portion control allowed us to enjoy his selections without feeling over-full at the end of the tour.
We very much appreciated his kindness and flexibility.
To better reflect Flemish and/or Bruges cuisine, some additional dishes would be nice to try such as Chicons au Gratin and Garnaalkroketten. Trying a range of dishes provides a good view into an area's culinary traditions.Great Experience

Artur was a kind enthusiastic patient professional tour guide. We’ve had a number of these tours in recent years and I must say he is a gem. Run to his experience. He is very generous with his time and, for our eating tour, with delicacies. He took the time to explain history. To tell stories. Artur is an amazing host. He has a terrific sense of humor, is very knowledgeable about the area and a great storyteller. He kept us entertained with local tidbits that you possibly couldn’t gather exploring on your own. He also took us to spots were we samples amazing Belgian staples including pralines, truffles, fries, waffles and beer. We loved the food so much that we ended up going there the next day as well. Artur was friendly and his enthusiastic delivery of the history of Brugge was a pleasure to behold. Artur made us welcome and we had a great time. I'd been to Brugge a couple of times before but he took us places and gave us the history of areas I had never explored. He was happy to answer any questions and a change to his timetable was accommodated by Artur contacting me well in advance and offering to pick us up at the station if necessary. To top it all off he took us to a fantastic waffle house as a result I've had my mind changed about this Belgian delicacy. Artur was fantastic as a local tour guide from start to finish! Not only was he knowledgable about the local history and foods, he was entertaining as he articulated the stories! The food stops chosen were the best choices! We enjoyed a variety of artisanal chocolates, Belgium waffles, beef stew with Belgium fries, and local beer! This should be a definite to-do on anyone’s bucket list! We could be a bit biased, but I’d say that Artur was the best choice! Artur, we attempted to get the golden dragon back, but they said NO! 🤣Educational, Entertaining and Tasty!
