Very good food tour even in extenuating circumstances where there was a football match on the same afternoon, as well as a tall ship in near St Marks Square, so a couple of the usual places he might have taken us were completely full. With so many food options available in Venice, I wanted to have someone guide me through the street food options. Adair certainly managed that plus more. She weaved snippets of history into our conversations whilst savouring a variety of foods. We booked Adair for a Food and drink Tasting tour in Venice. She was fantastic! We could not have made a better choice. She was warm and friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the food and the culture of the city. We had been to Venice before and wanted to see it from a different perspective. We also got to know a little about her personally which was delightful. We even stopped by her husband’s bar the next evening when we found ourselves wandering through the streets of Venice, looking for a place to eat. Her husband happily referred us to a wonderful local eatery. Obviously, the whole family is lovely. If we come back to Venice, Adair will be our first booking.Adair's Tour is wonderful!

Our afternoon with Alexandra was one of the highlights of our trip to Venice. She displayed incredible depth and knowledge of the traditional foods of Venice including where to find the local specialties and even how to prepare them. Mina is knowledgeable, flexible, kind, and fun. He was a good guide for our teens who had already been a bit overloaded with history after touring Doge’s palace, St Mark’s basilica and the Bell Tower. He adjusted the tour accordingly. Mina has a vast knowledge of history and was happy to answer all questions. A tour with Mina made our visit more meaningful because he shared tons of Information that we would have missed on our own. We originally chose a different guide for this food tour. She canceled on us a day before and arranged for Mina to be our guide. For this reason the tour time changed. We only made two food stops. While we enjoyed everything and didn’t leave hungry, we expected this to be more of a food tour and less of a historical walking tour. I highly recommend Mina. But I was not thrilled with “With Locals” and the last minute change. Mina is a wonderful guide!

We were a group of six and all loved Claudia. She took us on a food tour that was both informative and delicious. She also pointed us to the Modern Art Museum and an out of the way gelato place (both in quiet neighborhoods). My son insisted on going out by himself in the evening to find the place Claudia had taken us to get more of the spinach lasagna. Claudia was great!

Our day with Valerio was amazing! After meeting at the local fish market, we went to his home on murano to prepare a meal. It was delicious and so fun to feel like a local. Our tour of murano included stops to learn about glass blowing. Our daughter got to make her own glass bead and then we toured a glass showroom which was beautiful. Federico was amazingly knowledgeable and entertaining and the palace and st marks visits were so much better with a guide) My only question was why we stood in line for 40 minutes listening to the history of Venice (which was super informative) when we could have paid a little extra for skip the line tickets and spent more time walking in the area for a history tour (unless of course that isn’t how skip the line works) Fun and informative

Roberto accommodated us 2 days after our originally scheduled tour, as we arrived a day later than expected. The tour he provided was interesting, but could probably be completed in 2 hours. Roberto is an intelligent person who does have a working knowledge of several languages, but I would not say that most English speakers would be able to absorb all of what he says during a tour. We certainly liked learning about his native city and enjoyed his sense of humor too. The only reason we are providing this level of detail is because the cost of the tour was considerable and we would have appreciated knowing exactly what the pluses and minuses might have e been. We truly appreciated Robeto’s flexibilty.

My husband and I recently did a walking tour with Loris in Venice and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. We customized one of his available photography tours to focus less on photography and add more walking and food and wine. We had a fantastic time with Loris who was so kind and knowledgeable about Venice. As a trained sommelier, he also did a great job explaining the local wines we tried. We really felt like we got a local perspective on Venice and got to visit places that are not in all the guide books. It felt like being shown around the city by a good friend. Since our tour was so recent, we still have not received copies of the photos Loris took but he suggested some fun and scenic locations for pictures and did a great job directing us and making us feel comfortable in front of the camera.
