We did the Abu Dhabi day trip with Sandy Nat and driver Ranju. We were picked up promptly at the arranged time and set off from Dubai to explore Abu Dhabi. We had requested specific stops for our tour which were accommodated by Sandy. So you can make this tour bespoke. Sandy is extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. We started off at the Grand Mosque (and so helpful that Sandy had made all the arrangements so we were able to fast track entry) which was stunning and so beautiful. Sandy shared so much information on the building of the mosque and each area’s significance which made this visit truly memorable. Our next stop was the Emirates Hotel (former palace) and along the drives we were also able to see specific sights that Sandy pointed out (which we were not aware of) - such as the seven buildings that are designed to look like the five fingers of a hand. Next stop was Heritage Village for a self guided tour of the humble beginnings of the first ruler of the UAE. Enroute to lunch we passed a few more sights and also saw the new palace from across the ocean (overlooking a bay). We stopped for lunch at Al Mrzab for truly Emirati cuisine (which is also recommended by the Michelin Guide). The afternoon consisted of a stop at the date market and the Louvre museum. We toured the museum which happened to also house several works of art by renowned artists Money, Manet, and Renoir (without the lines like the French Louvre). The final stops included driving through Ferrari World and the parks on Yas Island. We did not wish to stop here but they can be added to one’s itinerary. The day was packed with activities we chose and we continued to learn about the Emirati culture from Sandy during the drive back to Dubai. We had the pleasure of being guided by the dynamic duo, Gomez & Sandy, who were absolutely incredible from the moment we landed. Our flight touched down at the wee hours of 3 AM, and since our hotel check-in wasn't until 2 PM, we decided to seize the day with a private tour. The team was more than accommodating, picking us up bright and early to kickstart our adventure to beautiful Abu Dhabi. What truly stood out was their attentiveness and flexibility. On vacation I want to make the most of my time, I appreciate well organisation and punctuality, a busy day with lots of information and experiences to take back. I got all I wanted!! Communication from the beginning was easy and the right amount of sharing was done. Sandy was very helpful in customising a second excursion and we really enjoyed his proposals for day 2. Even though it was Ramadan the places we visited have been lively and mostly open. And a spontaneous workaround for the ones that had been closed was found. We enjoyed the private walk and taste tour and the little shopping that was involved !!! And we also enjoyed the private dessert safari with quad bike add on (suggest to always go outside of the gate into the real dunes with a guide!) Thanks for a wonderful experience to both of you! We had an absolute wonder of a day in Abu Dhabi! We throughly enjoyed it and were very happy with the itinerary. We saw the mosque, which was magnificent. Our son took a small tour on a camel, which was a lovely treat. We saw lots of other things as well and had a wonderful lunch at the fish market. I did the Abu Dhabi Day Trip with Sandy Nat, it was an amazing experience and I learned a lot. As I already did the Ancient & Modern City Tour with Sandy Nat the day before, I knew that having him again for Abu Dhabi was absolutely the right choice. He brought the same enthusiasm that he had the day before to Abu Dhabi and this tour was even longer, we spent about 9 hours together. Day started off with Sandy Nat and Ranju, the driver picking me up promptly right at the scheduled time from my hotel. We went to the Last Exit on the highway from Dubai before entering Abu Dhabi, Formula 1 racetrack, Grand Mosque, Fast and Furious movie-scene building, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Hotel, stopped by the dates market etc. And we also had lunch at the Fish Market in Abu Dhabi which was such a treat!! The Fish Market had fresh seafood that was caught that same morning and the restaurants IN the market tucked on one end of the side cooked us a tower of two seabreams, prawns, calamari with french fries and coleslaws as sides that went well with our starter of hummus and an eggplant. It was very well worth it and that meal was a fraction of the price of what it would cost in the downtown central area of Dubai itself. I enjoyed the Abu Dhabi Day trip very much and would recommend this to anyone visiting Dubai to do! Abu Dhabi Day Trip

Assim was an amazing guide in providing a great overview of the Emirates history as we drove from Dubai for the day to Abu Dhabi. We were awed by the Grand Mosque. Enjoyed the gold coffee and ice cream at the Shangri-La Hotel and seeing the palaces. We asked to stop for a local lunch and had a great authentic experience. Highly recommend Assim. I'm not sure why we booked with Suqlain and messaged with him but did not know until we got picked up that it was not him. I think the actual guide should be the one advertised and if not then clearly communicate this. Its fine to switch but be upfront about it I felt it was "hidden".Assim a 10! Suqlain not the guide

Sandy arrived a little early (great). We spent the whole day in Abu Dhabi. We went to the Falcon Hospital which we thought was a really fascinating. Sandy took us to a local eating area. My overall review is good though I do have a few points when booking with this app. The app charges your card in EUR dollars while the individual quotes you in their money. I booked a Dubai Safari trip for 17ppl, transportation was great we had 4 vehicles. Our first stop was the ATVs which I was not aware of it was very rushed and my family did not have the time we paid for on the ride. There were a few items listed that we did not get but it was no big deal. I did tell my driver I was a bit upset that everything was so rushed. The dune bashing was amazing what an experience. Dinner was great though I found the individuals at the camp very rude. My Abu Dabhi trip was great everything went well. Though I didn't meet Melwyn directly he was very responsive via whatsapp and did accommodate to any misunderstanding we had. As a travel agent I would recommend my clients.Dubai/Abu Dabhi Trip

Vibha ist einfach die Beste. Wir haben zwei Touren mit ihr gebucht. Die erste führte uns nach Abu Dhabi. Bereits auf der Fahrt hat sie uns viele neue und wertvolle Infos über Dubai und Abu Dhabi gegeben. Sie führte uns über kleine Märkte, in das Emirates Palace Hotel, in ein kleines einheimisches Lokal und am Schluss zum großen Highlight, der großen Moschee, die wir sowohl bei Tages-, als auch bei Nachtlicht sehen durften. Ein einmaliges Erlebnis! Am nächsten Tag führte uns Vibha durch das alte Dubai zu mehreren Restaurants, in denen auch die Locals verkehren. Vom Essen ließen wir uns von Vibha überraschen und waren begeistert. Die Food Tour ist in jedem Fall sehr zu empfehlen! Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass Vibha die Touren stets nach unseren Interessen ausgerichtet hat. Unfortunately the day before our booked trip, Gomez got sick and told us that his wife would take his place instead. Even though this was unfortunate, we enjoyed very much our whole day in Abu Dhabi with Sruthy. She was patient in waiting for us to take tons of photos all throughout the day even offering to take photos on her phone of our entire family which she sent via email. She explained very well all the sites we visited and gave us ample time to look around and was really cheerful and friendly all throughout the day. She was full of energy. They also even provided us with water in the van and Abayas to where at the Grand Mosque. Definitely worth it to book with Withlocals. Felt like a local going around Abu Dhabi in our private van. Gomez was awesome!! He was very informative and told us some very interesting facts about Abu Dhabi/UAE. He took us to some local Souks, We saw awesome views of the Skyline and other cool places. We wanted to go to Ferrari World so Gomez walked us in showed us where to go to buy tickets and then met us at the Entrance after we finished having 3 hours of fun! Gomez was one of the best tour guides we have ever used and without hesitation I would recommend him. We took a day tour to Abu Dhabi from Dubai. He is extremely knowledgeable about Abu Dhabi as well as Dubai. He made sure we saw all the important landmarks and explained all about history, people, architecture,customs and more. My wife and I took a private day tour to Abu Dhabi with Jose' Gomez. He is a great tour professional. It is obvious Jose' is passionate about the UAE and takes great pleasure in sharing his knowledge. During the ride to Abu Dhabi, Jose' discussed the culture, formalities and traditions. Jose' provides a historical context, sheds light on what life is like in the UAE and answered all our questions. Jose' was always willing to allow us more time at certain stops or change stops if we had less interest. He made us feel like we were steering the direction of the tour and he was happy to oblige. We had more interest at the Louvre Abu Dhabi so he happily walked around for almost 2 hours with us. Jose' is the best private tour guide I have used and cannot recommend him enough. Additionally he has a few others things going for him: (1) he is just a nice person; (2) he is a tour guide professional and takes his profession seriously; and (3) he is a wizard at taking pictures - it doesn't seem like a big deal, but trust me it is. I am sure all the with local tour guide are great, but if you are considering a few, just go with Jose', easy as that.Incredible tour, Jose' is great!

3/30/19 This was my first trip to Dubai and the furthest of my travels to date. I wasn’t too sure what to expect but Melwyn put our minds at ease the moment we met. He is sooooo very personable, accommodating, well educated on the history of old and new Dubai... he even carried my backpack 🎒 and became my personal photographer. He allowed us to customize our day trip which turned out to be one of the best days of my life. I would recommend Melwyn for all of your trips/excursions anywhere in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Pickup was in time, the driver did a good job and was very nice, the car was clean and we got also water in the car. Vibha is a very nice open person, her English and German are excellent, so talking is not an issue. We saw some of the usual things and also some not so standard sights. It was a pleasant day and we have enjoyed it very much.Very nice host we had a great day in Abuda
