We loved our trip to Evora with Luis. First, Evora is a beautiful walled city with great character. The roman ruin, churches and cathedral were a great draw, but it was walking the streets and seeing the shops we loved the most. It was also wonderful to be outside of Lisbon for a day and see the countryside. Second, Luis was a terrific guide for us. From the car ride first thing in the morning until the return trip in the afternoon he was filled with information. He weaved together questions we had from other tours with new information about our visit to Evora and really helped us form a more complete picture of Evora, Lisbon and Portugal (people, places, culture and history). He is a wealth of knowledge that flows in conversations and stories and kept us engaged all day. We spent a day with Sofia touring the beautiful city of Evora. Sofia picked us up at our rental in Lisbon right on time and drove us through Portugal's beautiful countryside giving us interesting information along the way. We really enjoyed the sights she showed us and had a wonderful meal inside the walled city. I'm so glad we decided to leave Lisbon for the day as there is so much to see outside it. Sofia is really knowledgeable and such a delight to spend time with. I felt like we had a new friend by the end of the day. A beautiful day in Evora!

Auf der Fahrt von Lissabon nach Évora und zurück haben wir sehr viel über das Land, die Historie etc erfahren. Ein kurzer Abstecher zu einem Weingut und zur Christus Statue rundeten den Tag ab. We had a lovely time being guided by Veerle through Lisbon. She will tell you a lot about the past and present - adjusted to the subjects you want to know more about. I do think it’s expensive but it was worth it for me because it was in Dutch which was easier to understand for my kid. Veerle is very knowledgeable.

Had a great visit with Tiago to Fatima and Obidos in July 2025....He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and very kind throughout the day-long journey. As a visitor with some existing background knowledge of Portugal in advance of our travel, I was grateful that Tiago went beyond explaining the "what" of what we were seeing and dove deeper into exploring the "why" from a historical and cultural perspective. This was our first time ever traveling with a personal tour guide, and we were a little apprehensive that we would feel rushed and/or simply received a "pre-packaged" experience....not the case with Tiago! He tailored the day to our very specific interests, and the whole experience felt extremely relaxed and personal....we'd recommend him without hesitation!!! Great Experience!

Francisco brought us to some amazing stops. The beaches were gorgeous and there was a good mix of historical information and sites as well. He was thoughtful and kind and let us take our time to take in the beauty of each stop. He found us a local restaurant in a fishing village where we chose our own fish for them to prepare for us. I highly recommend this tour. It was nice to get out of the city.Highly recommend this tour

Luis was such an amazing host. He was courteous and gave us an overview of the itinerary. He made sure the sequence of our itinerary and timings were so we avoided most of the crowds. He was flexible so my daughters has more beach time at Cascais. His knowledge of history and his storytelling was excellent. My husband and I had the most wonderful half day tour with Luis to Sintra this weekend. He is such a nice person, a very good driver, and so knowledgeable. We got so much more out of the tour than we were expecting: a trip to the historical city center of Sintra, a guided tour of the grounds of Quinta Da Regaleira, Cabo da Roca and then the coastal drive to Belem, with stops along the way. You can choose which palace(s) you want to see. We had a great time and we could never have done it on our own in that amount of time. This was our first time in Portugal, and the day with Lius was one of the best experiences we've had! He communicated with us before the tour and accommodated with a later start and ending due to personal reasons. We never felt rushed. He was highly knowledgeable about the history and the details of everything. He provided history along the way, an added bonus! He also gave us a brief but nice shopping break in Cascais. This was our 1st time in Portugal and this tour enabled us to see Obidos, Fatima, and then remain in Nazare, our next destination after Lisbon. Our tour guide Luis was absolutely fantastic! He was really fun to travel with and extremely knowledgeable about the history of all places en route! We never felt rushed and had the perfect amount of time at each town. And when we arrived in Nazare, he assisted us in checking in to our next hotel and orienting us to other aspects (restaurants, etc). Again, we chose not to return to Lisbon. Luis did a wonderful job keeping us informed and meeting us in a timely manner. Saw so many churches and beautiful sights, such as the Sao Roque, the Gloria elevator, the Se church, church of St. Dominic, history of the area, the plazas, the people and Porteguese rulers. We passed by so many areas and learned so much! Also had time for a water break, cherry liquor (ginjinha), and custard pastries! It was so worth doing, I highly recommend.wonderful day in Lisbon!

This 3-hour walking tour was the highlight of our trip to Lisbon. It is the perfect way to get the lay of the land once you get to Lisbon. Our guide, Sonia, was delightful and knowledgeable, and because she has a travel blog and TV travel spot, she is the ideal guide. For 3 hours she shared the history of Lisbon and stories about well known sites, as well as hidden treasures. She even bought us pastel de natas and cherry liqueur along the way! By the end of the tour, we felt that Sonia was a personal friend, and later she even helped us arrange a taxi to the airport. We give this tour, and Sonia, our highest recommendation!Fabulous tour
