Irina was my local for a day in Girona and she was truly amazing. It felt like I had hired a friend. She was so nice and accommodating. She was professional yet personable. I really wanted to experience Girona the way the locals do and she provided me with that experience. Every church, Gelateria and cafe she took me to was part of the Girona I was looking for. The second tour with Ivanna went to Girona and to Tossa de Mar with a short swim event. Everything was perfectly prepared here too and it was an incredible experience. The view from the castle was amazing. She came up with several alternatives to design the route with us. The hours flew by. Nevertheless, she tooks extra time to show us more. Seb was amazingly communicative before the day of our tour, so that it was clear what the day would be like, and what the timing would be because I had to catch a plane later that day. He picked me up from my hotel and we headed north. The ride was very comfortable and pleasant, and Seb and I chatted about all kinds of things. Once in Girona, Seb provided a nice background and history of the area, and we walked the entire city, from the wall surrounding the city (you walk ON the wall) to the Jewish quarter, to the cathedral, etc. I had never been to Girona and Seb was the perfect guide to introduce me to the city and to spend the day with. I liked what we saw and did - Girona is pretty - but would have liked more time there getting there at 10:15 and then catching the 13:30 train back made the experience feel a bit rushed. There were some architecturally interesting buildings near the station that I would have liked to have seen. Also, we spent less time in the Jewish museum than we probably would have done without the time pressure. I would rather have paid a bit more for more time and a more relaxed experience.Girona Daytrip

Sebastian delivered with facts, highlights, history, architecture, and music in this wonderful visit to Girona. Game of Thrones notwithstanding (we haven't watched one whole episode), there is much merit is visiting this fascinating place. Some of the stairs are steep, but Sebastian easily modified the ascent to the top of the Roman walls for us. Recommended tour, highly recommended guide. By the way, he sings and plays guitar on the opening page musical trailer on the Withlocals app.Spectacular!!

My wife and I booked Ilona for a tour of the beautiful Medieval city of Girona, Spain. We met her at the train station in Barcelona at a pre-determined spot and time and she was right on time. She handled all the rail travel details and we had great conversation on the way to Girona. We walked the wall built by Romans and toured the Jewish Quarter along with a visit to the Museum of Jewish History. We visited the Girona Cathedral and Ilona made sure we had a great restaurant to take a lunch break and experience some delicious local cuisine and wine. Ilona has great knowledge and speaks perfect English. We highly recommend a tour with Ilona! Thanks Ilona, we really enjoyed a fantastic day with you as our tour guide!!!! We did the family friendly tour of Barcelona with Ramona and it was great. My 10 year old daughter immediately felt comfortable with her and was practicing her Spanish and holding her hand. Even my hard to please husband had a good time and enjoyed the information Ramona provided and the tapas recommendations she suggested. I booked a tour of Sagrada Familia with Alessandro as a way to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. It was his first time in Spain and I wanted to do something really special on the big day. I had never before scheduled a private tour without going through a hotel concierge so I wasn't sure what to expect, but am SO glad that I went this route and will definitely do so again in the future! We liked our time with Laura. She was punctual and pleasant. We appreciated her flexibility during the planning stage and she was quick to respond and suggest tweaks to the plan. The actual “tour” was ok - she provided high level overview of various Gaudí buildings however the depth was lacking - we had higher expectations given her architectural background however she only provided very high level information which was somewhat disappointing. Overall if you are looking for a nice walk through Barcelona and high level overview of Gaudí and his creations Laura works be a good choice. If you are looking for an in depth dive into the architecture and architect - looks elsewhere. Good high level overview of Gaudi and city

Lusi ist die beste Reiseführerin, die uns in Barcelona passieren konnte. Ich kenne Barcelona von mehreren Urlauben schon ganz gut, reise aber dieses Mal das 1. Mal mit meinen Eltern (82 & 76 Jahre) zusammen nach Barcelona und wollte mir selber eine Freude machen mit der Tour "Hidden Gems" um ggf. noch dazuzulernen & Neues zu entdecken. Absolute Empfehlung diese Tour am Anfang eines Barcelona Urlaubs zu machen, dann bleibt genug Zeit, um vieles was Lusi aufgrund der Zeit nur auf der Tonspur erzählen kann, auch zu erleben. Für den 82.igsten Geburtstag meines Papa´s habe ich auch die "Montserrat Tour" mit Wanderung bei Lusi gebucht - lange im Voraus :-). Ein unvergessliche Erlebnis. Jetzt zu den Fakten: Lusi spricht ein phantastisches Deutsch - das war für meine Eltern sehr wichtig und ich konnte mich entspannen, weil ich nicht ständig übersetzen musste. Lusi is so fantastic. She is fun and spontaneous and so down to earth. She is multilingual and so well traveled and that experience of hers right there definitely gives her tours a unique perspective. I loved my tour with Lusi because she showed me so many places in Barcelona that are cute and where actual locals go. I only had three and a half days in Barcelona and it’s because of her that I was able to maximize my experience and go to so many places in such a short time without feeling like I missed out on anything. As a female solo traveler Lusi also took me to places that I could enjoy and interact with people without it being so noticeable that I was traveling solo.
